I do like it.. On the back 9 of the season, Cousins has thrown 20 TDs to 3 picks. I'm watching the wrap up right now, stats were 365 yards & 4 TDs for his night. Good road win for Cousins & the Skins. But, the sadistic, petty sports media will also dwell on Cousins' mental error (w/his mistaken kneel down). That's actually what ESPN led with in their Cousins' reporting..
Even in spite of the sports-media's resentment of Cousins, I'm finding the water cooler & lay reviews of Cousins are getting more & more favorable. Cousins vs Griffin was/is an important sports culture clash.

Kirk, by every measure was trash before. If anything, winning the division bolsters his point. Kirk WAS given the privilege to fail over and over again and yet, the coach stood by him. Gruden even blamed the wind once. It is social reality that black quarterbacks are held on a shorter leash. When you have Jay Cutler, Kirk, and Sam Bradford starting, while Kaepernick is already out of a job and RG3 was treated like trash after a preventable injury, then yes

Same thing with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Dude is on his 6th team and was given the chance to start. The man has failed for most of his 10 year career but he's been given so many chances people are talking about how good he is now. RG3, Kaepernick, or Geno will be lucky to get this many chances. A few games or poor play and they're yanked. America will never tolerate struggling black Qbs trying to grow

How does this moron not understand that RG3 had already lost the locker room. Even the black players were firmly behind Cousins the whole way. Most black QB's are pulled because most of them get figured out by opposing defenses and can't make the transition from the college level to the pros.

I'm so glad to see Kirk Cousins get the big win tonight. The Washington Redskins clinched the division. Cousins is going to get a huge long term contract and he deserves it. I'm glad Coach Gruden stood behind the guy. This could be a dangerous team for Carolina or AZ in the playoffs. They have alot of talent and Cousins is red hot!

Captain Kirk has been nothing short of amazing. He has done it under alot of stress and criticism which makes this season even more remarkable. Cousins has ice in his veins. He is very athletic and also smart. Mentally tough is what a qb needs. The guy is going to be a pro bowler in my opinion. So happy for him. Would love to see them win a game in the playoffs to give them confidence heading into next season.

After some major problems with turnovers, Cousins seems to have put it all behind him and now looks like a future superstar at the QB position. The best part of the story is that this young, handsome, blonde-haired, blue-eyed white man completely emasculated and stole the glory from black mega-bust, RGIII, who is already finished with the team that gave up everything to draft him.

Funny story on Kirk Cousins drug tests. The NFL can always seem to find white QBs that are strait laced Christians for many "safe" tests but I bet it's a lot harder to find linebackers at their friends home. Of course what drug tester would want to search for the typical NFL linebacker in his native environment?

Kirk Cousins was franchised - it looks like he will play out with 2016 season without a long term contract from the Redskins. I am interested to see if he builds on a very good 2015 season - will it lead to a long term deal with Washington? Will he become a sought after qb by another team needing a qb as he enters the prime of his career? What will Washington end up doing - hope sudfeld develops? Keep McCoy as a vet starter if they decide to draft a qb again? If so my hope is that the current regime does not decide black quarterbacks are the way to go.

I remember the year the Patriots won the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. Brady had a couple subpar games and the media started suggesting he was through. He obviously wasn't.

Against Dallas, Cousins had 364 yards, 1 TD and a pick (close to 20 Fantasy points).. pretty decent game. A fair criticism was that Cousins couldn't deliver the knockout punch. But, still a pretty decent statistical start, nothing that stands out as unusually lame. But Cousins was beat up by both media and the DWF horde.

At one point Cousins was 5-for-6, and Fox announcers were stating Cousins looked off. To me, that's not an 'off' start.
I think Cousins' greatest (perceived) sin, is that he displaced RG3.. RG3 partisans will always resent Cousins for that..

Last year, after Jay Gruden stated that Cousins was "will be the starter for the entire season," Kirk had very a rough start. The Redskins were 3-5 after 8 games, but ended up making the playoffs. I think he'll be fine and they'll get a win this week against the New York Giant Lips. By the way, I think it's really cool that Cousins in a multi-millionaire, but his "daily driver" is a 16-year old GMC Savana van he bought from his grandparents...

Cousins on pace for 5k passing and doing all this with an all star cast of skill players! Sarcasm of course. I've noticed the media is quick to write off Cousins, Tannehill, Gabbert, and for that matter any young white QB despite these guys surrounded by lackluster black talent amongst skill players and in Tannehills case a horrendous affirmative action sumo ladden OL!

Cousins struggled the first two games with accuracy and in turning red zone possessions into touchdowns. The fact that the "locker room" was so quick and eager to turn against him would indicate that (((Dan Snyder's))) plantation remains a very dysfunctional place and Cousins likely was playing under pressure that the media covered up.

He did have a strong game in Week 3 and hopefully keeps it going now. I loved what Kirk did last season as he had previously always been written off by the usual suspects in the media and the mindless DWF hive nation and he is close to establishing himself as a franchise quarterback, likely much to Snyder's chagrin.

Yeah, Cousins is 12-6-1 over the last 19, and did the right things to close out the Detroit game, which was lost in the closing seconds by a soft defense. Could've realistically been 13-5-1. Stats are solid, won the division last year.. there isn't a QB controversy there. But I just saw a Scouting Report article @ the NFL's site this morning, that gave Cousins another skeptical review.
It was widely reported how much Snyder was personally invested in Griffin, but it seems like Snyder is now cool moving forward w/Cousins. Snyder's stock has been rising in my eyes with Cousins at his helm, and his defiantly defending the honor of the Redskins' name. Guess we'll see about Cousins' future.
In Kirk's defense, Washington hasn't really been a franchise QB factory. I'd say Cousins is the best, most reliable Redskin starter since Rypien.. I'd take him over Jason Campbell, Frerotte, a nearing-retirement McFlabb, Griffin, Shuler..
