Josh Allen is an exciting young player for the Bills. He had a good rookie season and will doubtless be improved next year. Bills fans can be happy they have a developing young talent who will probably become a franchise quarterback.

Agreed Extra and thanks for the highlights Lightning! Allen showed amazing grit and athleticism this year working with a woefully bad group of skill players and a sumo dominated OL.

Bills need to right the ship up front to protect their young gunslinger. Draft any of the 3 Badger OL, Max Scharping of NIU, or perhaps Bama's Jonah Williams or Clemson Mitch Hyatt.

It's a shame Riley was purged from the roster, would have been a sweet connection between him and Allen.

Obviously a very small sample size, but Allen averages the most yards per carry of any QB in NFL history with 75+ carries. His 7.09 yards/carry is above Vick’s 7.00 and Locker’s 6.78. Allen also averages 52.6 yards rushing per game, which is 10 yards per game more than Vick.

Agreed. a priority for the Bills should be to get strong on the offensive line. To me a strong offensive line is so important spending your first three draft picks on it is worth it if the player grades warrant it.

Thanks for sharing this as I hadn’t seen him play in any large sample size yet. Really impressive, maybe even more so than Mayfield as he has a far worse supporting cast.

His cannon arm and running abilities are apparent but I was most impressed with his pocket awareness. He looked like a magician escaping the collapsing pocket more times than I could count and he had a great sense of where the pressure was coming from. Those instincts are hard to teach. Reminiscent of Big Ben except Big Ben never had the ability to gash you for 50 yards once he alluded pressure.

Super exciting to see what levels Allen can reach with better receivers and an improved offensive line!

It was great to see Allen have such a promising season after being one of the most universally hated prospects I've ever seen. As a big armed white man who had a so-so completion percentage in college, the knives were out for him from the start and he was often implicitly labelled the "white privilege" prospect because the DWF worldview, in typical political inversion, requires its adherents to believe that black QBs are constantly overlooked while talentless white guys with big arms get shot after shot ahead of them. Reading those bastards trying to tear him down in an attempt to lift up Lumurr Jackson made for one of the most infuriating draft process I've followed.

The Bills better in the market for Humphries as the next competent pass catcher Allen gets will be the first:

I'm sure that corps had a lot of potential and upside though.

Great video, Lunch-Pail. The Three Stooges music really was a comical touch and would very much be appropriate for almost every NFL receiving unit since the latter part of the 1970's. Bills need much more than Humphries and could have absolutely used Brandon Reilly, who was their top pre-season receiver the last two seasons. They did get some excellent overall work from a black UFA rookie (Robert Foster), but the rest of group would not even scare most CFL secondaries. By the way, congrats to Foster for showing he could play despite not being drafted; too bad Reilly was not offered the same chance. The Bills' young quarterback would be much further along if he had two decent, young receivers already in the fold.

By the way, here's something most DWF's and those in the Caste media either don't know or will never admit. The terrible hands most black receivers possess might not even be the biggest problem for NFL quarterbacks. The inability for too many black receivers to run proper routes is stunning. Someone I know got to hang out with an NFL quarterback and another friend and they talked "inside football stuff" for several hours. Quarterback had a long career, mostly as a backup and retired a few years ago. The former NFL QB never mentioned race, but told him in no uncertain terms how frustrated he was with many of his receivers route-running skills.

At one point, early in his career he got a chance to start for a very caste team and did a pretty good job. But was eventually benched and relegated to backup for a decade after a multi-interception road game. He insists all the picks he threw that game were due to one malcontent/diva/first round bust who ran improper routes all day. QB said he threw the ball to the absolute spot coaches told him to, but the receiver was not even close to the area and all were intercepted. Not being a higher round pick, he could never recover and be seen as a starter again.

I went thru the first dozen comments at the Allen video and they were all positive. I would guess most of the caste grifters in the media will be shown the door like the Buzzfeed screwups soon enough.

During the highlights of Bills/Cowboys game, NFL Total Access host- Josh Allen "has more rushing towndowns this year than Lamar Jackson."

Josh Allen is the prototype for the new, athletic QB.

He very well could be what people always envisioned for Cam Newton

The media and dwfs are shocked that a white qb could be leading the league in rushing TDs. They forget that Steve Young and Fran Tarkenton were some of the earliest white qbs that ran just as much as your typical running qb afleet today.

I try to avoid hate tweeting idiots as its addictive, but felt the overwhelming urge to make an exception for that Buffalo beat writer tool.

I went back and dug up this post by Shadowlight about Josh Allen in the 2018 draft thread. I remembered it because of the imagery of jumping into cool waters to find treasure.
Shadowlight sure was right about Josh Allen.

Shadowlight: "For sure Allen's completion rate is enough to scare the daylights out of anyone. That is the reason he is the most polarizing QB in the draft. It bothers me too.

But keep in mind Mel Kiper says the media should stuff those stats. He points out the playing conditions in Wyoming and that league are very bad. The weather can play a huge role and the level of talent he had around him was piss poor to be polite. That still doesn't excuse his bad play but Kiper and a few others are warning that his natural talent is so off the charts a team could be missing the big one. It is a riverboat gamblers game at this point but sometimes you have to jump off that boat into the cool waters below to find hidden treasures.

It is that old age dilemma. Is he worth the risk or should teams play it safer? My understanding is John Elway likes Allen. Whatever way it shakes down this will be an intriguing QB list as it plays out in the first round."

Josh Allen just set NFL record with his 1 passing, two rushing TDs:

His third total touchdown of the game made him the first player in NFL history with four straight 40 total touchdown seasons.

He is the best quarterback in the league, the absolutely complete package!
