Jordan Van den Berg Perfect/Historic R.A.S...But Only 3 Sacks?

Several months ago I posted about "freaky" athletic Georgia Tech defensive tackle Jordan Van den Berg. When he attended Penn State, he was merely seen as a "workout warrior". But that might not have been fair, as he had to deal with PSU's militantly anti-White, mulatto HC Ben Franklin. Could he really succeed with Ben at the helm?

The "freaky" athletic Van den Berg left for Georgia Tech where he immediately blossomed into a complete player:
Van den Berg isn’t just a workout warrior. He was first-team all-ACC and earned some honorable mention All-American accolades as a senior with 11 tackles for losses as he emerged as one of the top run-stopping defensive tackles in the nation.

Yet, despite the on-field progress and athletic testing potential, he received zero invites to all-star games. None! No Senior Bowl, ect. He also failed to receive a Combine invite. His only chance to impress was at Pro Day, where he registered a perfect R.A.S. score. This ranked 2nd out of 2270 DT's from 1987 to 2026. Yet he's mostly considered a 7th round pick or undrafted free agent :buitre:

Two YouTube pundits "attempted" to explain these snubs. Both came to the same conclusion that 3 sacks as senior was not enough!

A) African American, perhaps an ex-player, is very impressed by Jordan, but states here 3 sacks might not be enough for the NFL.

B) White K.C. Chiefs DWF type does a deeper dive into Jordan 10.0 R.A.S. and concludes the NFL should ignore the athletic "freak" until round 6 or 7, due to only 3 sacks and poor overall stats?

Van den Berg had 11 TFL's last season. Clemson (same conference) defensive tackle Peter Woods recorded only 3.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks through 12 games and he could be a first round pick :afro:

Below is a list of DT's that made ESPN's and Dan Jeremiah's (NFL.com) Top 100. None had more than 3 sacks (links below) last season and some had less than 3 in their entire careers?

Peter Woods 2 (5 career/3 years)
Kayden McDonald 3 (3 career)
Christen Miller 1.5 (4 career/3years)
Domonique Orange 0 (1 career/4years)
Caleb Banks 0 (6.5 career/4years)
Lee Hunter 2.5 (7.5 career/4years)
Darrell Jackson Jr. 1 (7.5 career/5 years)

The excuse I get when I criticize black interior d-line players when they are not productive is that I "don't know ball", that stats do not matter for defensive linemen and their impact on the game is not measured statistically.

Van Den Berg should be a 2nd/3rd round immediate starter.

Yes, Leonardfan, it's weird how stats are completely irrelevant, but only when it comes to "upsiders"?

I guess one argument the DWF's might have is the top (black) DT's can't put up big stats because they are frequently double-teamed. Good argument, but I would assume Van den Berg was also frequently doubled or even tripled teamed?

Check out this clownery:
Jordan van den Berg’s athletic traits jump off the screen on his film, splash plays galore. Lack of production led to him being snubbed from the combine, but the high number of snaps he took as a 1-tech/0-tech contribute to this—took on a lot of double/triple teams. (<excellent video hi-lights)

Again, what the heck does this joker mean by "lack production"? Why are Van den Berg's stats "lacking" compared to Daniel Jeremiah's Top 100 DT's (linked in post #1)?

They seem to be creating this totally false narrative that all these black DT's are reaching double-digit (or close) sack totals each year? :afro:

Here's a really popular defensive "sumo" the DWF's and Dan Jeremiah types really seem to love
Former UCF defensive tackle Lee Hunter transferred to Texas Tech for an NIL package reported to be between $1.8 million and $1.9 million. A key part of Texas Tech’s elite 2025 defense, Hunter used his NIL earnings to purchase a house for his mother, buy two 18-wheelers for his brother's business, and support his daughter.

Here's the "athlete", according to R.A.S. numbers, that Texas Tech got for nearly 2 million (for one season)? :buitre:

That's a great example of racial bias, Truthteller. I hope any and all lurkers and "best talent plays" peeps get to see that as it illustrates what white athletes deal with day by day.

The caste system is based on subjectivity not objectivity it is DEI not that goober fantasy of the NFL being a meritocracy. Anyway the Packers sure won't take him since The Cuck is already on the hook for Van Ness not being the next NFL sack leader.

Van Den Berg is my favorite DT in the class!

He’d be seen as a 1st rd pick if he was Nigerian, and not a White South African.

Great research as always TT! I wonder in NFL teams are more “in the know” than these draft dorks and senior bowl gatekeepers. Would be nice to see him go in the 3rd round or early on day 3.

As we’ve said many times, the Caste System is right there for those with eyes to see and ears to hear….
