Joe a powerback? He showed incredible shiftiness when healthy and is only 215. I wouldn't call him a powerback, just simply a north/south runner that has the speed to get to the edge as well, not really a guy to plow over somebody though. He does have enormous thighs and good at getting yards after contact, but thats not the majority of what made him a successful runner. I never really saw any decent holes for him to run through on his tape. Looking at Brian Leonard's footage, as well as Martinek, you would think they neither of them have any vision, but the only consistency I see is a bad oline scheme. Leonard seemed fine with finding the hole in the NFL (when there actually was one ). I could be wrong about it though, I know the head coach is the same guy that was there when Brian was playing, not sure about the oline coach. It does seem the coaches at Rutgers don't know how to cater the offense to suit his skillset. No other back was really impressive last season. Martinek is a guy that gets better as the game goes along, if you look at the stats, most of his big runs came in the 2nd half, while he would grind it out in the 1st half. If he was healthy hes somebody you could build an offense around, but I guess they would rather suck.
