true

but u forgot shinji takahira the other guy. he ran 10.20 the same event he ran 20.32 (about 2 months ago)

he ran 20.22 at these championships...Id imagine his time would have been 10.15 if hed run in the championships (pulled out injured)

If these guys are running strong, I wouldn't be suprised if they won bronze in the 4x100m relay like they did in Beijing.

We have to give the Japanese props, for producing so many quality runners....going against all the drugged up blacks.

Also I highly doubt any of these guys are on peds as a Japanese track athlete has never been busted for drugs, if caught the lashback would be phenomenal, the shame brought by an athlete busted for PEDS in Japan would be 100x worse than wha tBen Johnson would experience.

They are also quite slim...I no not all asians are skinny as the media would make you believe, I know a few asian track ahtletes here in Australia and they are ripped...similar build to ashara.

thats just ridiculous,

One could say the same for West African athletes are are statistically proven to have slightly large testicles and penises than the rest of the world especially in a flacid state.

yeah maybe stupid but I just tought about testicals yesterday after I saw a programm of Lance armstrong testicals.

He won 7 tour de frances with one testical not meaning becuase of lighter weight this time lol.but the less testosterone he musst have( but it is only made partial in testicals)my theirie is becuase he was legalised to let his testosterone level up every day by doctors he had an advantage because other runners testosterone went lower everyday beacuse of the long races.

They got bronze because both GB and the US were DQ'd. Pickering burned the Japs.

well IMO they got it cause they ran a good race
GB and Japan were not even in the same race, so not sure how Pickering could have burnt them.

like I said props to the Japanese, they did well with no blacks.

Australia did the same thing in the 4x400m relay won a silver in Athens with all whites, except john stevefeson who is half black/white....awesome achievment

You know it's funny guys. I keep waiting for the asian sprinters to run fast outside of their country but year after year it remains the same. The only guy I really thought was special was Asahara. That guy could really run. Shingo was descent but seemed to be a one hit wonder.

Early in the season some of you were thinking that the Asians would go sub 10 first. I said then and I still say now that the times they run over there don't seem right. Why can they never repeat them in Europe. I'm rooting for them but it is really strange if you ask me. Maybe their tracks are an illegal surface or they are just a little short of what they should be. I hope they prove me wrong but it's rare that they excel in the big meets. White sprinters have had more success over the years. Especially if you go back to the 50's - 80's in local meets as well as championships.

Let's see if this changes at all in Berlin. One thing they need to do is to race more all over the world. They tend to just race over there most of the time. Good luck to their guys in Berlin.

the Japanese are notorious for making fast tracks. the IAAF almost ruled the Tokyo WC track was too fast. There was a article about this when Carl set the world record. the IAAF allowed the new track specifications because they thought that it was good for the sport and it's what track needed to keep a audience. I forget how it works, but it has something to do with thickness and elasticity. after the Tokyo meet the IAAF set that tracks specs as the max standard. I know that the Atlanta track was modeled on the same specs as the Tokyo track. so I'm guessing that has allot to do with those great times they run at home. I would venture to say allot of their tracks would be deemed illegal by the IAAF, but since the Japanese aren't breaking any world records, they will never be tested.

The Japanese are lucky they can keep their population 98% ethnic Japanese, or thereabouts.

Their young people grow up with enough heroes in sports that are just like them, and they don't have to make apologies for not constantly promoting diversity when it's simply not necessary.

Of course there are some "half" Japanese stars who get recognized for their accomplishments, like hammer throw champ Koji Murofushi, but only a few gaijin in sumo, baseball and soccer that generate much interest. The Japanese like the novelty of a handful of foreign stars, but not much more.

As jaxvid so correctly points out in an earlier post, the Japanese athletes "can develop in an environment where they are not "caste" aside and slotted from an early age."

How I wish the same could be true for young white athletes in this country.

we Aussies are fortunate to have a half Japanese athlete of some ability. Sean Wroe's mum is Japanese-Australian.

It stunned Jeremy Wariner (amongst many others) in a post race conference in Osaka (May07) when Sean was asked questions in English and he translated them and gave answers back in Japanese.

Good party trick which endeared him greatly to new Japanese fans.

I notice the best Japanese sprinters seem to have longer legs than seems the norm in Japanese society. As always, the more physical features conform to a sprinting model (no matter "race") the better you're equipped to run fast. The west Africans in general seem to have a greater spread of the features you need to run fast, but that doesn't exclude anyone else.

As Buddy Guy said of Eric Clapton when quizzed on a white man like Eric playing blues, "when you got it you got it....& Eric's got it"... same with the sprints.
No-one will ever be able to say Christophe Lemaitre isn't one super fast dude

Exactly my friend. It's just like when they say whites can't jump. Too many all over the world disprove that myth. Some can and some can't! Just like some blacks can and some can't! Whether it's sprinting or jumping, certain physical features give you a better advantage. Many whites around the world have these same physical traits attributed to great athletecism!

it's just my opininion that white and blacks do better at athletics.
ths same with muscles at the same height whites have on average 10% more muscle, ideal BMI east asian is between 17.5-22.5 and whites mayority have a healthy weight when they have bmi of 20-25

Yoshihide Kiryu of Japan ran a 10.19 a few days ago. The wind was 0.5.
What is even more notable is that he is just 16 years old!
This is a new World Youth record.

Kiryu also ran a 10.21 in October with 0.1 wind.
Maybe this kid will become the first sub 10 Asian. The Japanese have had several sub 10.10 guys come close, but none have made it under 10 flat.

I was going to post this but was too lazy to. His under 18 world record is more amazing because of his skinny normal build. If he hits the weights and gains size in the right way he could be a medal contender in a few years at the senior level.

more power to the japanese ,
respect there culture and never going to ruin event
like a certain other highly parasitic race .

but and here comes the but , have seen this progression now with certain young jamicans, carribeans ,americans
lemaitre , gemili and now this japanese lad looks like on the exact same regime.
there is the interest in japan and eventually apply same
thing to own athletes .
just lets see if he drops another .1 next year , and again next and so on .
beyond a coincidence
and only the sarms baby .

being meaning to do alittle write up on history of sarms use in sprinting , athletics and sport
for awhile but never get around to it ,
will eventually

basically been around since 2000's
and info here
and can be tested for but powers that be dont want to

NURSA | Detection of designer steroids

Illicit use of performance-enhancing steroids has proliferated among a wide range of professional and amateur athletes. This problem has attracted broad public ...

article on test for designer steroids

but designer steroids are no longer needed for
speed can all be got from different sarms
one to build muscle like ever yo yo-ing muscles of
yamicans
or ones that purely androgenic and give the
added benefit of extra fast twitch muscle and speed
endurance and keep it there ,.

I just watched the video on this kid ( though he will be 17 in December ) and what is really impressive is he slowed up the last8 to 10 feet. Im wondering if he could have run around 10.14 and with a maximum legal wind he could have probably gotten done to a sub 10.1. I will root for this kid along with Lemaitre and Gemilli.

With so many sprinters breaking 10 seconds within
past few years , alot of people said that give another
4-5 years before an asian sprinter will do the same .
and japan being likely candidate .

there is a obvious reason that can be so confident that
this will happen if actually know what is happening
behind the scenes .
basically takes this length of time for young reasumably fast athlete ,15, 16 to start on the sarms and produce sprinter that will be running in around the 10's flat .

how fast actually runs depends on many variables
but can nearly gaurantee that can get him down to low 10's
consistently ,alot less pulled hamstrings and with added speed endurance ,the 200m might be option .

And as for why dont these systems , do the same regime with many athletes ,well initially cant have to many otherwise risk being found out, as for yamicans ,ameriacans etc started like this but now as figured out ,easily getting away with it and prestige that some achieving and pretty reliable at getting you down to low 10,s that has become many but still in closed circles and can put it all down to being african thing and people wont question it ,eventually come out .
and because dealing with research grade peds and
younger athletes in this case might be seen as amoral ,yet another reason .

he doesnt seem the tallest , and could be very near
adult height and counted around 50 strides over the 100 ,so how much more can he improve ,maybe .3 seconds .
also think due to birthday wont be able to compete as youth in any major champianships next year .

showes you the power of said ped ,
this japanese lad was running 10.60 in february and
10.60 again in june then bang october knocked
.4 off his time .
showes this stuff works and compared to video in june
now looks alot more solid , better form ,technique ,posture all from added musculature and androgenicity
that help add speed but not nessarily that much but with these just stating visible signs that something changed with lad and can be only one thing .
besides physical signs the added fast twitch increase and speed endurance are much more important factors in drop in time .

there is definitely interest in sprints in japan by looking at number of youths sprinting in the 10.60 to 11 second bracket which perfectly normal but this doesnt nessarily lead to many 16/17 year olds running 10.20 consistently , once off is possible but it is the
consistency and definitely different and know why .

some peolple might say near maxed out already and any other fast youths in past disappear or stall somewhat but from looking at other suspect athletes progressions this does not happen they maybe get a drop of .2 the next season and .1 the next with consistency in times before start to stall on this particular ped where due to fast twitch fibres reaching near max possible per centage and all other variables pretty much pushed out ,besides addin
in strength , muscle with other sarms but that is for later in career if option and think can get away with.

as for chosing kiryu over the many other fast youths they have ,
was one of faster ones and tall enough but think deciding factor was that probably stronger , more well build ,as seems to look it .
as well as seems confident and even could forsee that more marketable if makes the grade . liu xiang 2.0
excuse that flight of fantasy but not to far fetched when planning out future doping regime for athlete over next few years

flash in the pan or no ..
personally dont think he will disappear from what seeing happening again again in different places , but how fast
goes might be similar to gemili if as explosive and strong naturally
,if no ,somewhere in between .

lemaitre is still more exciting in my opinion as always been lots of shorter explosive type sprinters but taller fast ones pretty rare ,well rare before advent of
sarms ,. so can appreciate him more .
and picking taller athlete comes with advantage of
longer stride and more chance of lower times obviously
assuming can put all various factors together .

sarms bla bla steroids bla bla..... Black are on steroids White are on steroids Asians are on steroids but not all of this run at 16 years 10.2x. Very good job for kyriu. Japan have other very promising young sprinter,Ryota yamagata semi-finalist this year in london with a pb of 10.07 and a semi-final time of 10.10 he is a hot shot to be first asian who break 10 seconds and this kyriu will be in the next years if he stay healty elite sprinters who can make 100m final, just think guys in rio 2016 100m final: 2 caucasians-LEMAITRE AND GEMELI and 2 Japanese-YAMAGATA AND KYRIU. will be a dream who become reality,of course west africans sprinters will be majority but we will se some caucasians and some asians not only west africans. In last years we seen some not west african sprinters with potential to go sub 10,just lemaitre do that untill now but i can bet next season gemili will break 10 seconds and in maximum 2 season yamagata will do the same, kyriu is a promising elite sprinter because is something to have world record in sprint like a asians(youth world record but is a world record) Who know's in few years what other sprinters will come who will break 10 second but if untill 2016 will be 3-4 non west africans who break 10 seconds will be a big thing who can become reality

there is a big difference between 10.60 and 10.20
similarly 9.80 and 9.58
and the difference is sarms .
do you no see what i am spelling out that these times are not
possible without them , steroids would never be able to do this .
and would never be giving steroids to a younger athlete especially
if under 18 , do more bad than good .

it is not an issue of steroids ,this steroids that ,
it is an issue of how peds use has evolved in the sprints ,
the fact that using them now at such younger age to avail of benefit
such a 10.60 athlete might never get close to low 10,s but with sarms
if done correctly and young enough ,it is a reality , that is the difference between them and plain old
steroids slash hormones ,these sprinters are nearly you could say heavily manufactured for better want of words .
do you no see what i am spelling out.
big difference . still expected to swallow that it is as clean as ever
but could say that less morality than ever , with younger athletes and ped use
et cetera ,so on so forth

might laugh if i say that senior bolt was on the smelling salts from as young as 16
but when see it happening with other sprinters then not so ,
