I thought I heard it all as far as dumb ass commentary, but now some retard on an espn web site said that fat ass Russell is poised for a break out season. I about threw up my lunch. The only thing he is poised to break out of is the buffet line because he can't wait his turn. Of all the players to pick this guys picks a very fat unathletic quarterback that can't read much less decipher complex defenses. It never amazes how far some writers will go to praise an unworhty black player just because they feel like they have to in order for them to have journalistic credibility. Russell will be out of the leauge in 5 years grossly obese and broke not to mention his poor athletic conditioning of which he hasn't any. I really feel like this experiment with the black at quarterback will blow up in the face of the leauge. Their are only so many pathetic attempts that you can force on the leauge before they figure out that blacks can't play the position. I end on this question who do the blacks have at quarterback that is half way decent besides McNabb the answer is quite obvious nobody.

Turns out that Lane Kiffin was dead against drafting JR. Of course Al Davs made him take the black guy. I guess I'd be pretty bummed out over it myself if i were Kiffin.

It's hard to blame Lane Kiffin given the absolute crap he was given to mold a football team out of. Would be nice if he didn't act like a whipped dog in his interviews though. He should call Al out and talk about how they already had a good atheltic (white) QB that was putting up some pretty good numbers and then he was forced to play a slow fat overrated rookie. How could he win?

I'm generally not the type to leave simple "LOL" posts, but you made me cough up my drink with that one.

I was in and out of the Oakland-Saints game yesterday. I have a general rule to never judge anyone on one particular performance. Having said that the Jamarcus Russell crowd must be in a little distress after yesterday's game. Not a pretty sight. Besides his int, erratic throws and fumble, the Saints dropped three or four interceptions. Meanwhile Chris Carter called Russell the best (or most talented) QB in Raider history on ESPN before the game. Edited by: Quiet Speed

uh..ok. How old is Chris Carter, like, 12 or something? Has he never heard of Kenny Stabler? Jim Plunkett? Rich Gannon???

You shouldn't even be allowed to mention Jamarcus Russell in the same breath as those guys unless you are talking about how sh*tty Russell is by comparison. Edited by: White Shogun

Notice how the media is scrutinizing Matt Cassel (a 7th Round pick). Not only that, New England doesn't have much of a running game. Moss also played incredibly SOFT.

The aftermath of the New England/San Diego game is a perfect illustration of how the Caste media operates. Instead of praising Philip Rivers, they spend ALL their time "dwelling" on Matt Cassel. They are trying to make "negativity" synonymous with the White QB.

Look at all the White QB vs. White QB match-ups in the NFL today, and watch how the media largely ignores the winning team's QB and, instead, goes straight to maligning the losing team's QB. When members of the media call for guys like Cassel to be replaced, they are doing this out of fear. They fear the possibility of Cassel developing, especially if he gets a running game.

Because, if he's a scrub, why even worry? The media could then have fun maligning him the rest of the season. All the while... the media is absolutely silent about JaMarcus (you know, that guy who was picked way higher than Cassel).

This is a really great point. You're referring to one of the MANY aspects of the caste media.

In this case, always dwelling on the white player who LOST, never the one who WON. As most starting QBs are white, most games feature a white QB vs. a white QB. Therefore, most of the time, the media will have at least one white athlete to mock / degrade / suggest he be replaced, blah, blah, blah

Yesterday's peformance by Jamarcus Russell has to be one of, if not the worst statistical effort in the history of the NFL. Yet strangely, no jock sniffer lambasted this fat turd for his total absence of skills.
I never heard a single word of truth about his horrendous lack of ability, which is growing more obvious with each game.

Meanwhile, these same jock sniffers discuss whether white QBs like Derek Anderson, Brad Johnson, Dan Orlovsky, etc. should be benched. I even heard a few comments questioning whether Mangini should have taken Favre out of the the game yesterday. Finally, Caste clown Mike Golic mentioned that he'd "heard some discussion" about the Titans replacing Kerry Collins with Vince Young.

Brady Quinn has been announced as the Browns' starter this week. I wonder if the jock sniffers would ignore it if he completed 6 passes for 31 yards in an entire game. We all know the answer to that; he'd be run out of the starting lineup faster than you could say Charlie Frye. He'd be making plans to join Tim Couch and Cade McNown in whatever it is they're doing.

I wonder just how long the league will allow this to go on. There are eight games remaining and if he looks anywhere near this bad in the next 2-3 games, will the league do something to make Al Davis replace Russell. After all, he is black and he can't be allowed to be held up to the ridicule that will eventually come if he isn't replaced.

It's an interesting dilemma we find the nfl and Al Davis in here.

For once, I hope this fatso caste girly-man is right. I really hope this happens. In fact, I cant wait to watch Vince Young "play" in the future.

I suppose the old: "all he does is win" only works when you have that beautiful, chocolate skin.Edited by: Thrashen

Russell, Young, and Leftwich are all the same. They are media hype jobs, they are out of shape, and they have no business anywhere near an NFL starting job.

They might all be out of shape, but Leftwich is a better QB than the other two, Reb. Gotta be fair here.

Shogun, you are correct about Leftwich being a better QBthan the other two, although I still don't think he deserves a starting spot. I stand by my statement.

I think it depends on what options you have, lol. I'm sure the Raiders could use Leftwich right now.

They could use George Blanda, Darryl Lamonica, Kenny Stabler too. I still think fat ass has some upside. But that had to be one of the worst games in recent memory. If you had read me the stats I would have thought that the game was played in Green Bay in -40 weather...

It is not all bad. Here is an article by Adam Schefter from NFL.com:

Baldinger doesn't hold back on Raiders
Posted: November 4th, 2008 | Adam Schefter | Tags: Brian Baldinger, Darren McFadden, JaMarcus Russell

Interactive chats usually are not designed to make headlines. But participants in interactive chats usually do not sound off the way NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger did Tuesday.

In an interactive chat on NFL.com, Baldinger sounded off loud enough to be heard from Oakland to England.

At 3:39 p.m. eastern, a gentleman named Robert Sherwin from England asked: "Hiya Brian I'm a Raiders fan I am worried about our team do you think they can win anymore games? And do you think they can perhaps in 2010 and beyond get back to their winning ways?"

To which Baldinger held back nothing. Baldinger wrote: "The quarterback (JaMarcus Russell) can't play. He's a bust. Darren McFadden is a bust. He won't stay healthy in this league. He's had only one good game. They have drafted poorly. They are easily scouted. The defense plays schemes that don't make sense. They play the ends out wide, and play the safeties too deep. Al Davis always believes that you have a deep safety, but Atlanta exploited that with Michael Turner. And to just see how bad Russell is, you have to look at what Matt Ryan did in that game. Russell just doesn't know what he is doing."

And the bad news for Mr. Sherwin, Oakland and Engalnd is, Russell has hit his escalators. The Raiders owe him his money and are as tied to him as ever.

Baldinger calls it well I think!

Usually you cut a QB some slack in his first season, but
6 completions for 31 yards when you have thrown more than 20 times is just ludacris! I don't care if it's your first game, that looks to be the sign of a player that doesn't have what it takes!

Russell continues to put up one of the most anemic statistical seasons by any QB in the history of the NFL, who started all his team's games.

During the Thursday night game between the Raiders-Chargers, I heard a new excuse mentioned to explain Russell's blatant incompetence on the field. At least three times, the announcing crew and/or Ocho Cinco (NFL) Network talking heads informed us that Jamarcus is the "youngest starting QB in the NFL." It is no accident when disparate members of the mainstream press suddenly start issuing the same new proclamation (recall how often we heard various jock-sniffers mention that Jason Campbell was "on his 6th (or 7th or whatever number) new offensive system" to explain away his horrid play. It's really like these clowns are handed instructions from conspiracy central.

I didn't know about Baldinger's comments. I find them truly astounding, because "Baldy" is one of the most odious of all the jock-sniffers on television. However, I have heard several jock-sniffers now labeling McFadden a "bust." In my view, this is to divert attention away from the fat turd at QB, much the same as Javon Walker was criticized to an unusual extent (for any black player) during the preseason. Many times, the same nerdy fantasy football writers who won't bring themselves to make fun of a black QB who completes 6 passes for 31 yards in an entire game, lambasted Walker's alleged inability to "get open" against anyone, even in practice. I found this unbelievable, since Walker was, a few years ago, considered one of the elite receivers in the league. Again, in my opinion, he was hung out to dry as well (along with the familiar diatribes against the offensive line-too bad David Carr and other white QBs were expected to perform behind far worse lines), in order to give their rotund hopeful more excuses.

Once a black QB has been inserted into the starting lineup, it is truly becoming almost impossible to replace him (unless the backup is also black, as was the case with Leftwich). I do think that this continuous experiment to lift blacks into starting positions at QB throughout the league is bound to fail. Sooner or later, even the dumbest drunk white fan is going to realize that Russell, Tavaris, Young, etc., simply cannot play.

Rotund, hahaha, dude, your posts have been stewed to a perfection of late! You are truely a caste-football all-star.

Notice the media-girlies seldom mention the once-lowly Falcons (under Mike Vick, that is) and the amazing Matt Ryan. Contrast Ryan's outstanding rookie season with fellow #1 pick, Chubmarcus Russell.

I don't even think the jealous jewish media has enough magical bullsh*t lies to make that laughable comparison. Guys like Young, Russell, Campbell, Jackson, Culpepper, (and even Gerard this season) have done nothing but embarress the media and their infinately glowing praise of these morons.

Personally, I love watching them squirm and make up excuses like "the youngest starting QB."

I noticed the "youngest starting QB" phrase suddenly popping up too.

I don't think Russell is going to be anything better than erratic, but the Raiders are truly a Caste mess. TE Zach Miller is far and away better than any of their wide receivers.

Al Davis is a senile Caste-maniac. It's sad how the older white men get the more Caste oriented theyseem to become(Davis, Joe Paterno and Mike Ditka are three examples that come to mind).

So they're going with the idea that Russell is the youngest QB in the league malarkey.

Reminds me of a saying in my trade. "Excuses are like a**holes, everybody's got one."

That about covers it I think.

I'll file "youngest starting QB" right next to "fattest QB" and "least talented starting QB" and "overhyped QB" in my growing JR file.

Except for the whole fatboy and starter thing he could almost be Vince Young.
