And btw, I agree with BR for the most part. Although blacks are more racially conscious than whites and more cohesive on average, most blacks on rosters would accept a white starting if he is clearly better.
It's when it's a close call that there are hollow cries of racism from blacks competing for playing time (blacks love playing the race card and provoking fear in whitey- of being labeled racist- to get what they want. They do this if they know they can get the media and DWFs to be sympathetic to them). There are enough racist blacks in the NFL and enough close competitions, at such an elite athlete level, that the black will almost always get the starting job if the competition is close.
I do recall Brandon Marshall sticking up for Peyton Hillis last year and complementing how good he was playing though. I guess 5.9 YPC against a good Jets defense and than 7.3 YPC against Kansas City (basically Pro Bowl level performances) isn't good enough for PH to get even one carry to Josh "spineless" Mcditz. Some of the blacks on the roster might be questioning in their head why Hillis isn't getting carries, but none are brave enough to piss brothas Knowshon, Lamont and coach Mcditz off by lobbying for Hillis to get more touches b/c it could cause backlash. Buckhalter is playing very well, but it is just criminal that Hillis isn't in the mix and LJ is a complete joke! Knowshon has potential, but isn't even close to Hillis's level yet and he should be being slowly worked in as he "EARNS" his role.
Hillis and Knowshon could have the potential to be the best 1-2 punch in the league in a couple years, like Brandon Jacobs and Derek Ward last year. Instead of preparing for the future and starting Hillis, with Buckhalter being fazed out for Moreno (as he improves), spineless weasel McDitz splits the carries amongst Buckhalter and the green Moreno and even throws carries Lamont "complete garbage" Jordan's way. We can only hope that Denver starts losing and the fans start to realize how much Hillis is getting screwed for players that are not nearly as good as him right now (not including Buckhalter).
