Told Ya! Remember we are here on this site because of the blatant, racist treatment of whites in the NFL. It will not change (sorry Jacob Hester.) Just ask yourself how Brian Leonard is doing. He has the talent to start anywhere (so does Hester), but blocking fullback is his future plain and simple.

Yet another week of the same for Jacob Hester. San Diego even used their " fullback" to throw to and he gained about fifty yards on one reception. I don't believe Jacob has touched the ball all game today. Don't hold your breath to see if he does, cause it will not happen and it pisses me off.

i said this in another thread i wouldnt be surprised if the NFL forces teams to take white talent and just bury them on the depth chart

Still no carries for Jacob. This is pretty depressing.

With Sporels performing like he is, its going be tough for Hester to get some playing time. We can only hope that LT and Sporles gets hurt. The Charges did look good tonight, especially Wendling on that interception.

Westside, welcome to Caste Football. Sproles wouldn't automatically be getting all the other carries in a fair NFL. You are probably right about the Chargers though, as it looks like they will screw Jacob over, this year anyway. Also, it was Eric Weddle who had the INT. John Wendling plays for the Buffalo Bills. Thanks Colonel Reb, when and if Jacob gets his chance, hopefully he will have some explosive plays. My bad regarding the misspelling of Weddle. Thanks.

Regarding Hester, it is imperative that once he gets an opportunity, he capitalizes on it.With Sporels playing well and LT being consistent, its going to take one of those players to get injuried for Hester to get his chance. But WTF, the affelets always wish the few whites in skill positions to get injuried. Whats good for the geese is good for the gander.

The San Diego Union-Tribune's Kevin Acee reports Raiders RB Michael Bush was nearly dealt to the Chargers Tuesday.

According to Acee, the teams were in talks right up until the deadline. Bush would have gone to the Chargers in exchange for a second-day pick, but the Raiders pulled out on the deal. Chargers GM A.J. would neither confirm nor deny the report. LaDainian Tomlinson's backup, Darren Sproles, is an unrestricted free agent after the season, so the team may have been simply trying to add depth and insurance.

^from rotoworld... seems like Chargers are about ready to write Hester off without giving him half a chance, and all this after a very promising preseason...

that is enfuriating, but certainly not surprising under the Caste System.

next, we'll start seeing "reports" that Hester is a bust, much like what we're seeing about Brian Leonard.

Haha, yeah, how does one become a "bust" (to use the standard, nut-hugger lingo) if you never see the field?

Lately, the Chargers are looking like a pretty caste franchise to me. I despise fatso Antonio Gates (the most overhyped TE in football) and their racially correct WR corps.

Wilhelm was benched at LB in favor of some nobody who did nothing in his place. Derek Smith was replaced by a guy who was suspended the first 4 weeks. At least Weddle seems to be having a good season and not getting the famous jock-licker scorn reserved only for white safeties.Edited by: Thrashen

He fumbled, and on national TV yet. That's all the Chargers andthe fansneed to writeHester off as a bust. Just as with Craig Steltz, who was an All-American safety at LSU, the drunk white fans don't think any college stars that aren't quarterbacks and o-linemen can play in the NFL.

its a shame hester hasnt gotten any carries, alot of lsu fans have woken up to the caste system because they know hester is a very capable running back, even in the nfl

lt
ATT YDS AVG LNG TD
21 97 4.6 14 0
10 26 2.6 6 0
26 67 2.6 5 2
20 106 5.3 41 2
12 35 2.9 11 0
20 74 3.7 27 0
14 41 2.9 9 0
19 105 5.5 40 0
22 78 3.5 17 0
18 57 3.2 12 1

his only 100 yard games coming against oakland and new orleans, teams that havent been doing well on defense

all this time i though sproles was carrying the rest of the load but hes been getting a few carries a game, hes more of a reggie bush type player with getting receptions out of the backfield

hes only had 3 games with 6 or more attempts
ATT YDS AVG LNG TD
34 161 4.7 21 0
and receiving
REC YDS AVG LNG TD
15 221 14.7 66 1

hes a good change of pace runner but not an every down back seems to be a better receiver out of the backfield, and lt is struggling, hes not even averaging 4.0 yards a carry behind that line, i think an average back could do that, which in turn hurts rivers because a qb's friend is a good running game, i dont see why they dont use hester, its obvious they could use him, i am glad they are losing

here's a blurb on Hester:

Hester the man

Rookie Jacob Hester doesn't know why he has spent the majority of this season on the sideline when the offense is on the field.

"Not really," he said. "But you've got to respect the coaches' decision. They saw something that they didn't think I should be involved in the game plan. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to prove myself."

He will now.

Sunday night against the Colts, Hester was called on to replace fullback Mike Tolbert and put 10 games of relative inactivity - save for that fumble on his second career carry back in September - behind him and pick up where he left off in the preseason.

Hester, who caught three passes for 16 yards and a touchdown, will get work at fullback in practice this week as Tolbert sits with neck and shoulder injuries that will likely keep him out of Sunday's game against Atlanta.

"Jacob is a good football player, and he's going to get his opportunities to play this week," Turner said. " ... You can't ask for more than what he did. He blocked, he made a couple catches."

So why has Hester not played?

"The way Darren Sproles is playing, more than anything," Turner said. " ... We felt Jacob is more a tailback 'tweener' than fullback. He can play fullback, but Michael through most of the early part (of the season) was playing real well. We felt that was a demanding spot for Jacob, but he handled it real well (Sunday), and we'll keep working him there."

so he didn't play much, because he was in fact, a third tailback. and since not even Sproles was getting lots of reps, no wonder we didn't see much of Jacob.

actually Weddle gets a lot of sh*t from San Diego fans, for some reason... i watched him play and he really is quite good, and a very solid tackler. is he out of place at times? not any more than any other first year starter at this demanding position.

Weddle's having an excellent season. He's a tackling machine. The Chargers would be giving up more points than they already are if not for Weddle chasing down so many runners and receivers. If he's taking grief from the fans that has to be a new low in white ignorance and self-loathing.

Well what do you know 1 carry today for 28 yards he was the leading rusher for the Chargers on just 1 carry. I would say thay he also is being under used as well. Keep up the good work Jacob. They have to give you more carries now that LT is no longer the player he used to be.

Hester is being used out of position right now. They have him as a fullback where is size isa half back. He does not have the frame to be a blocking back. They have other good tail backs.

My suggestion is to use Hester in a west coast offense. A running, passing and sometimes blocking fullback. The Chargers don't get it. They continued to use him as only a blocking back. Not Hesters fault but he is a fish out of water in that type of position.

Congrats to Eric Weddle. I wish I could have seen that INT return, but I'm thrilled that he led the team with 10 tackles and is having a great season.

I agree, being a battering Ram will just shorten Hester's career. Look at the injury Tolbert is having with his shoulder and neck and Tolbert is also a bigger framed dude. Hester is a Jerome Bettis type HB, but the caste gimps just won't allow him to play where he should! Tomlinson has turf toe; there is no reason not to give Hester 5-9 carries a game in relief!

I hope that the Charger running back stable gets smaller and smaller so they will have to give Jacob a chance. He can and will do the job, if just given a chance!

The problem is that Weddle is having to clean up after the Chargers CBs mistakes and the DWFs are blaming him for the long receptions when he is really the savior to the teams defensive problems. DWF: "Ahh yeah that Weddle guy just keeps making tackles downfield; why is he getting beat so much? We all know that it's a safety's job to cover the deep WR one on one right?"
DWF 1,2,3,4,5: "Yeah dahhh!"

Also Sproles has been playing pretty well, but how do we know Hester wouldn't do just as good or better? Sproles is too small to get more than 10-15 carries a game anyway and Tomlinson should really go to the bench with his ineffectiveness from turf toe problems.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Any coach with a brain would move Eric to CB, imho. That or get some decent corners to take the pressure off of him. It makes me sick at how ignorant these DWFs are.
