Jacksonville Jaguars General Thread

Some potential good news down in Jacksonville. Wingard really needs to stay healthy, as his opportunities will be drying up, if he can't stay on the field and establish himself this year.

Yep, 28 years old and not a solidified starter. This is probably his last chance to have a solid full year and at least lock up one more contract with the chance of maybe a few years of starting if things go really well.

I was surprised to see this. Usually a "fringe" White player generates zero interest from other teams, other than during the Patriots' run of sanity when they were rescuing talented White WRs and RBs from the Caste dungheap. Bobo is probably better off staying in Seattle looking at their receivers as compared to those on Jax, but he'll undoubtedly remain primarily a WSTD on either team as the money being offered Bobo is special teams money.

Jaguars signed Seahawks RFA WR Jake Bobo to an offer sheet. ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Seahawks now have five days to decide whether to match the offer. The original-round tender would have made Bobo $3.52 million this year, though the money is not guaranteed. We do not know what the Jaguars’ offer is, but obviously, they beat the Seahawks’ numbers. The Florida Times-Union notes that the Seahawks will not receive draft pick compensation if they decline to match the offer sheet.
