Montario Hardesty manages to carry the ball five times without getting injured, causing Weenieworld to take note of his monumental achievement:

Montario Hardesty was held to 15 yards on five carries against the Eagles in his preseason debut Thursday night. All five carries came on one drive. He survived without setback, showing nothing remarkable as a straight-line runner with little wiggle to his game. At least early in the season, Hardesty doesn't look like a major threat to Peyton Hillis' workload.

"Super-leader" - Reggie Torbor - he of the 241 career tackles, 6.5 sacks and 2 picks, has been put on the IR.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/493092/reggie-torbor

Torbor placed on injured reserve: The Bills placed LB Reggie Torbor on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, coach Chan Gailey said on Thursday. The eighth-year pro was one of the leaders in the locker room and he was a key contributor on obvious passing downs. "Reggie Torbor was a strong person on our football team and we're going to miss him," Gailey added.

Ryan Kerrigan could have more sacks than that this year!

Hardesty looked bland, timid and frail in his debut against the Eagles. On those five carries, he didn’t appear to make a single meaningful cut or break a single tackle. Therefore, this seems like a fair assessment from RottenWord…miracles happen every day.

An MRI showed that Jarvis Jenkins tore his ACL.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1262942/jarvis-jenkins

- Rookie DE Jenkins lost for season with torn ACL Rookie DE Jarvis Jenkins tore his right ACL and will miss the season, his agent Joseph Flanagan said Friday morning. Jenkins was hurt in Thursday's 34-31 loss to Baltimore. It's a huge blow to the line. Jenkins showed a quick first step as a pass rusher. He was improving vs. the run as he focused on staying low.

Thus far, Fragilis Africanus hasn't "disappointed".. How many will get injured during the 16-game season?

Even though he doesn't have much stats, I'm sure we've all heard his name called quite a bit..

Leftwich suffers broken arm: Steelers backup QB Byron Leftwich broke his left arm during Saturday's preseason game against Atlanta, coach Mike Tomlin said, meaning that Charlie Batch and Dennis Dixon are the likely Nos. 2 and 3 QBs for much of this season behind starter Ben Roethlisberger. “I don’t have any additional information,” Tomlin said. “I am sure it’s going to be an extended period of time.” Leftwich completed 1 of 2 passes for 11 yards and ran one time for 6 yards before getting hurt.

u made my day!!! I was hoping for this outcome while waching the game. Now, Carriker SHOULD have his starting spot cemented!!! knock on wood

Of course, it’s good that Carriker may start for the Redskins this season; however, his “career” has been an utter embarrassment to all white defensive players. His statistics with the Rams (who picked him in the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] round out of Nebraska) were unquestionably putrid, even by the NFL’s new “Ed Reed Style” set of defensive “standards” (one flashy play per season and you’re a “legend”). Carriker’s first season with the Redskins in 2010 wasn’t much better.

In typical Caste-fashion, talented, young, athletic white DT’s such as Eagles backup, Derek Landri, are jerked around…while talentless, immobile, unproductive, pampered bums like Adam Carriker are handed countless (undeserved) opportunities. Well, that is, when he’s not injured.

The NFL enacts the same policy with concern to “dealing with” talented white WRs. Small-bodied, short, obscure white slot receivers are kept while tall, fast, athletic white receivers are mercilessly cut.

His head is 4 times the size of Barry Bonds' steroid head! Maybe he had some "help" in becoming the star of South Carolina's defense..

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1116495/jasper-brinkley

Brinkley could land on IR: The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Vikings are deciding on whether or not to place LB Jasper Brinkley on the injured reserve list. Brinkley is believed to have had hip surgery and could be sidelined until late in the season.

They think Arian Foster's hamstring injury is more serious.

arian_foster_tweets_mri_of_hamstring_gets_instant_diagnosis.jpg

"This is an MRI of my hamstring, The white stuff surrounding the muscle is known in the medical world as anti-awesomeness "

Dr Kaplin says he could be out 3 to 4 weeks, which means it could be a problem the entire season.

Looks like the Giants' are this year's leader in "serious" camp/preseason injuries!

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/515647/clint-sintim

Sintim done for year: Giants LB Clint Sintim has a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee and will not be able to play again this season. Sintim tore the ACL in the same knee last December. Coach Tom Coughlin said Sintim’s injury is “devasting.â€￾ Sintim was injured during Thursday's preseason finale at New England. “It’s unfortunate,â€￾ Sintim said. “I worked really hard to get back.â€￾

Another "roiding" injury? Serves the black supremacist, blacker-and-blacker, Giants' right! Looks like Eli will have a long season..

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1755077/raymond-radway

Radway has broken leg: Numerous outlets in Dallas report that Cowboys rookie WR Raymond Radway suffered a broken leg in Thursday's preseason finale at Miami. Prior to getting hurt, Radway had three catches for 62 yards on five targets. "I don't want to get into the specifics of it, but it is a serious injury," coach Jason Garrett said. "We're trying to address it right now."

The hits just keep on coming..

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/411465/jonathan-goff

Report: Goff out for season: Multiple sources are reporting Giants LB Jonathan Goff will miss the 2011 season after tearing his ACL. The Giants are expected to sign veteran Kawika Mitchell to replace Goff. Rooke Greg Jones is listed as the backup middle linebacker on the team's depth chart.
(Updated 09/06/2011)

Fantasy Analysis

The Giants defenders are dropping like flies. First, Osi Umenyiora is expected to miss the start of the season with lingering hip and knee problems. Then, the Giants lose star cornerback Terrell Thomas for the season with a torn ACL. Now, Goff, another starter, joins the mix. It could be a very tough season for the Giants defense if they can't overcome these injuries. New York has a favorable matchup in Week 1 against the Redskins, so you might consider using the Giants DST in Fantasy despite these mounting issues.
(Updated 09/06/2011)

And, back-ups' Marvin Austin and Clint Sintim.. and Amukamara. I hope the Giants' lose their opener to the Redskins!

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1255016/eric-berry

Berry lost for the season: NFL.com reports that Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, suffered in the team's Week 1 loss to Buffalo. He will miss the remainder of the season as a result.
(Updated 09/12/2011)

Fantasy Analysis

Not only will Berry be done for this season, but this type of injury could put his status for the beginning of the 2012 season in doubt. One of the top DB options in IDP formats, this will be a tough blow to overcome. Sabby Piscotelli should see more playing time in his absence at strong safety, but does not have anywhere near the upside of Berry.

No update yet on severity of LB Sims' knee injury
LB Ernie Sims suffered a sprained right knee in the second quarter of the Houston game and did not return. Coach Jim Caldwell said Monday that there was no confirmation yet on the extent of Sims' knee injury. Colts RapidReports

My pre-Draft analysis of Eric Berry was spot-on! That he wasn't going to make nearly the amount of "splash plays" in the NFL as he did in college. Also, that the standards would be lowered for him pertaining to media praise. I recall that the lone TD on his statline is from a pick-6 from late last season, and the media went crazy - "That's Eric Berry, that's what he does!" Yeah, only 4 picks in 16 games and 9 PDs!

This guy's "abilities" were not above criticism, and I noticed how he was picking off mostly SCRUB QBs in the SEC. He was FALSELY treated as a superhuman (and the drunk Tennessee fans had an absolutely revolting "crush" on him), and I promptly called out the BS from the media's (misleading) hype-machine. No one is untouchable. :icon_cool:

Price considered day to day: Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris told reporters on Monday that DL Brian Price is considered "day to day." He left Week 1 against Detroit after suffering a minor hamstring injury.

Easley ends up on IR again: The Bills added WR Ruvell Martin back to the 53-man roster on Tuesday after placing WR Marcus Easley on injured reserve with an undisclosed illness.
(Updated 09/13/2011)

He was a 4th round pick in 2010.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/405859/jonathan-babineaux

Babineaux out with torn MCL: DT Jonathan Babineaux suffered a partially torn MCL during Sunday’s game in Chicago. He will miss somewhere between three to five weeks but not need surgery, according to his agent Jack Bechta.
(Updated 09/13/2011)

This guy has totally been a "media creation" and that's it. Per the script, all he needs to do is show the "occasional flash" and his complete lack of consistency is thereby forgotten..

UPDATE:

Price should be just fine: The St. Petersburg Times reports that Bucs second-year DT Brian Price, who appeared to suffer a hamstring injury Week 1 against the Lions, actually left the game because of fatigue. However, because of the procedure Price had on the bad hammy in the offseason, he is expected to deal with the pain during the season.

Carimi has dislocated his right knee, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
(Updated 9/19/11)

Advice
Carimi left Sunday's game in the second quarter. The Bears said Monday that it was a sprain, but the Sun-Time source said he could miss four weeks. Not good news for Jay Cutler, who was sacked six times Sunday. Frank Omiyale took his spot on the line Sunday.
