For me its Nigerians....because they are so arrogant. They act like they have this illustrious history in football when they haven't accomplished anything.

The best player they've produced is Jay Jay Okocha who they pretend was a world class player when in fact he was mediocre. The best club he has played for is Paris St Germain where he had 14 goals in 90 games. Is that good for a forward? The other clubs he played for are Bolton Wanderers, Hull City, Qatar SC, Eintracht Frankfurt and Fenerbache.

I typed his name into Google just to see which country Marco Perez was from (he doesn't exactly look like a guy with a Spanish last name ). Look what came up for his profile photo. He looks very happy to be in Spain...LOL

I braved the cold weather tonight to attend the Brazil-Colombia friendly in Giants Stadium and was treated to an up-close view of the worst penalty kick miss I have ever seen, courtesy of Barcelona's future $100 million man.

The Colombian fans were laughing and calling him Baggio, but I think you'd have to go back farther than 1992 to find a more ridiculous miss. The ball was 60 feet in the air before it crossed the goal line. When the opposing keeper immediately rushes over to embrace and console you, you know you've done something truly awful.

Well,I did not even know this player before you mentioned him.I've searched his 'story' online and it really is sick.He was convicted for three years of gang-raping a 14(!):crazy: year old girl,yet still allowed to play for Belgium,which wasn't even his country in the first place!:tsk:
And what purpose does a 3 year sentence serve?
He(and all rapists) deserves the guillotine!

That's got to be the miss of the season.

Earlier I saw a clip of a horrible shot from inside the box that went miles over the bar by a player in a light blue jersey (similar to Man City's) but I didn't see his face and couldn't make out which team - the footage was from behind so I couldn't see the sponsor name. The British commentator referred to him as "the Moroccan-born Belgian". Anyone see it?
