Highlights of Players Going Pro in 09

I want to start doing some defensive players now, the problem is, it seems like it will take forever. The play by play sheet that espn uses is what i have been going by and it does not list who made the tackles or anything, just the offensive plays. Does anybody know of a site that list play by play and who makes the tackles and sacks?
Not that i dont love watching the games, it just take extra long when you have so many players to cram in. I had to do it somewhat for Eric Peterman and Nate Swift. For Nate Swift one of the games wasn't listed play by play, and for Peterman one game everything was totally off. It would read 2 yard punt return, when he obviously got at least 20 yards, and the timeing on it was wrong by a few minutes. Those 2 games alone took alot of extra time to go through.Edited by: dwid

edited to add Zach Follet a linebacker out of Cal. Anybody familiar with him? I saw him at the senior bowl and he impressed me but thats the only thing i have of him. I dont have any footage of Cal and dont believe ive ever watched any of their games.

I am just happy someone posted his highlight video on Saintsreport and suggested we get him. Usually they bash every White player and claim we need real affletes like Rey or Aaron Curry. Everyone thinks Shanle is the worst linebacker to ever play the game (even though he improved last season) and they even think Scott Fujita isnt athletic enough which is crazy. They think James Laurenitis is Shanle part 2 or "he reminds me Shanle" i guess because they are both White and have short hair. They also think Brian Cushing is only good because he used lots and lots of steroids. They think Kaesvaharn is the worst free safety in the league even though he outperformed Bullocks and we gave up less big plays.

It all comes down to the 2 overweight overpaid Defensive Ends we have in Grant and Smith, both look like defensive tackles and get no pressure on the quarterback. Everyone uses the excuse that the coaches told them to be that big to "help contain the run" , they dont even do that well but they get paid like top 5 defensive ends. When Charles Grant demanded a top salary he said "i gotta feed my kids"

Jeff Charelston (White guy out of idaho st) came in and outperformed what Smith did in a whole season only in a few games. like 2 or 3 sacks. this is while Charleston was only a small part of the rotation.Edited by: dwid

Josh Freeman has to be one of the most overhyped QBs yet. This guy has an 0-4 career record against Nebraska.

Freeman couldn't read Nebraska's defense properly at all. I doubt he could properly the other defenses he's played as well.

yeah freeman is truly overrated. I only watched him the season before last when he had jordy nelson. His quote was "i love jordy nelson, you just have to throw the ball anywhere in his range and he'll catch it."

Another great video with Nate Swift dwid. It's intereseting that you mix up the music, using rap and hip-hop in some of the videos. While I don't like that music, I understand that you have to do things that will appeal to mainstream fans. At first I was wondering about it, but now it seems like pure genious!

Anyway dwid do you have a facebook account? If you do you should try to find as many friends as possible. You can have up to 5,000 on facebook. And when you post your videos many of the friends will see it on their news feed. If you're already doing this, great, and please send me a PM with your name so I can add you as a friend.

Also, on youtube you should push to subscribe to more users. The more you subsribe to, the more people will subscribe with you and watch the videos. Anyway keep up the great work!

Even though id liked to use alternative/post punk type stuff mostly, I try to incorporate hip hop into some of the videos being that is the most popular mainstream music people listen to these days. However i did try to use underground artists with songs that didnt consist of the typical thug (get money, bling bling f*ck bitches) type lyrics. Most of the rappers that i used are actually White, and i think only one is latino (Immortal Technique who has a huge following) which is in the middle of the Nate Swift video. I was getting worried because someone called me out on a msg board about all the players videos of mine being White asking if it was just a coincidence. I said i was just looking for good receivers and i guess they just happened to be White so it was coincidence. I think having hip hop in some of the videos makes that a little more believable. I am afraid that once that superstitious word "racist" (even though it is just being pro-White)is thrown around no one will take you seriously. Also the background music to alot of underground hip hop sounds good but i dont care for the lyrical content. It mainly sounds good because they are stealing musical content from other artist's great songs and blending it together to give it a nice sound.

Eric Peterman only has 226 views and
Nate Swift only has 113 views but that is the most recently made one.

While a couple hundred is good i was hoping for at least a few thousand. The Sam Mcguffie video i made has like 5,815 views even though it has music nobody likes and i did little to promote it, i guess it was just because he was already big before i made it. The hard drive i made that on crashed and i cant go back and change the music, nor take the waterlogo off. So i would have to redo the whole thing if i wanted to change it. Edited by: dwid

Haha it's funny that's what you were told about facebook. Usually myspace has the reputation of being for people trolling to get laid. Everyone under 70 years old needs to get a facebook, because it is more and more becoming the way to communicate and reach people. It started out as only for college with a .edu email address, but since expanding a few years ago now so many people have one, from university professers, to parents who want to keep tabs on their kids, grandparents who want to connect with old friends, to business men who want to keep a profile and public presence online. Obviously thought the largest group would be millions of high school and college kids, but the other segments are rapidly expanding too.

It's not hard to start an account, and you can control/limit what anyone can see on your profile and pictures, etc. Myspace is a nice tool, and was the main social networking site for a while, but it is rapidly losing ground to facebook. I believe last spring for the first time facebook eclipsed myspace for total traffic monthly.

Either way, it's a great way to spread your video messages.

Also, another way I was thinking you can prevent people from noticing it's all white is to copy and repost some token black player highlight vids. I know it's stupid to have to do it, but I think it could protect your credibility.

thanks for the compliments guys, im trying to keep up with making them but school is getting in the way, hopefully by the end of this week ill have a player. I want to get a bunch done before the draft is here. Mixing in a black player would be a smart idea, its just trying to find time for it especially when i want to do so many White players. Maybe if i did something short and quick.

Yeah i figured out facebook was just the opposite of that when my Algebra teacher was talking about using facebook yesterday. Supposedly alot of baby boomers on it and its starting to get more popular than Myspace.

yeah i like Aesop Rock . Some of Immortal Technique's lyrics bother me. He'll say something that i agree with in one song and then something i totally disagree with in another, but i dont support him, got the music for free. Which he claims to support and claims to hate any record labels and big business, yet you can find his cd in a chain record store. I think he just has a good marketing scheme, his lyrics can be all over the place that all samples of the US population can agree with in certain things he says in certain lyrics, i think thats why i like some lyrics and hate others. Eric Peterman looked incredible. He looks like he has the talent of a day one pick. His production was only solid "for a team leading receiver", but you can see he's an athletic freak. His agility is mesmerizing and he makes guys miss like a scat back in the open field.

I had never seen him in footage of that quality before only in a couple games and his high-school highlights on Rivals. Peterman has great hands and gets going to top speed in a jiffy; he should have been an NFL combine invite.

Yeah when watching Peterman i was thinking he could very well be a runningback if they put him at that position, but thats why i compared him to Welker in another post because he did get alot of passes behind the line that reminded me of the bubble screens Welker does. Hes also not afraid to go across the middle. I like that part in the video around 2:52where he gets hit hard across the middle by that illinois player who does his little cheesy dance. Then the next play on the video is him going right back across the middle to catch another pass and the guys tackling him just looked tired like the life was sucked out of them

the fact that he's sick "MC" has nothing to do with me supporting him or not. i dont buy his records but i have watched some of his songs on youtube and the guy can "flow". i think John Lennon's world view was stupid, does that mean i can't like the Beatles' songs?? if he's come out and said he hates whites or is bigoted against anybody, plz give me a link to the article or video.

updated and added Andy Brodell, didnt someone say he had some type of injury? Was he playing 2008 with the same injury? in the beginning of the season his running looks a little sluggish but as the season went on his running looked faster.
