no that would never happen of course not the earth might stop spinning if that were to happen lol, do u no who greg micheli is dwid? The quarterback for mount union he actually overshadowed nate kmic and beat him out for the best player in d3 award this year. He is very fast, but still has a great arm, and good size, i don't want to sound imposing but have u ever considered making a vid of him or would u?
he won best all around player which includes academics
" On Tuesday, Micheli was named the Gagliardi Trophy winner as the top Division III football player in the nation. The award is based on athletics and academics - and that 3.84 grade-point average in physics and math stood out as much as his 28 regular-season touchdown passes compared with only two interceptions for the No. 1-ranked Purple Raiders.
"Coach Kehres said he could only nominate one player from our school for the award," said Kmic. "He picked Greg because of the academics, and I can understand that."
I liked him from what ive seen of him, but when you have a runningback rushing for that many yards, it really makes the quarterback's easier, not trying to take anything away from his talent because he is good. But they would have the box stacked expecting a run (because Kmic would be rushing a majority of the time) and then every now and then hed throw a major bomb to a receiver, thats usually how things worked. (Kmic rushed for 2,790 yards last season and Greg Micheli threw for 3,743 yards) Throwing close to 4,000 yards is pretty damn impressive and i think hes incredibly talented for doing that, but your RB trailing behind with close to 3,000 yards is even more impressive.
heres a quote from when they won the division 3 championship
The senior completed 12 of 19 passes for 262 yards and had TD passes of 55 and 41 yards to Cecil Shorts.
All but 102 of those passing yards came in the first quarter, when the Raiders opened up a 21-7 lead, taking advantage of Wisconsin-Whitewater's decision to do whatever was necessary to shut down Kmic.
"Our coaches thought that it might be worthwhile to take a few shots downfield," Micheli said. "Obviously with what Nate's done in his career, everyone focuses on him, and that wasn't any different today."
So to say he overshadowed Kmic is exaggerating things a little bit.
I like him and think hes good, but for some reason i feel like a runningback from d3 can adjust to the pros better than a quarterback, i could be wrong though. And he was pretty athletic, he could run with the ball pretty well too, i think he rushed for around 600 yards.
Plus, my hard drive with the mount union games on them crashed so i wouldnt be able to at the moment, i even had one more game that featured Nate Kmic in it, Mount Union vs Wheaton (he rushed for 310 yards), it even had that Cornerback Peter Ittersagen
