Good Music Videos

Arguably my fav video. Blink is a great band & their new album is awesome. I appreciate the production values & theme of this video set in the early 70’s

This video for All the Small Things was filmed as an act of pure satire. Blink stated they created this video to simultaneously mock both Boy Bands & Bling Rappers. This video is literally us mocking them.

This Pop Punk anthem is from the band Lit. I have spent a good portion of my life hanging out in seedy urban bowling alleys & cave themed basement bars so this resonates with me. This is a well executed video that the band clearly had fun creating. The band divulged that they all are league bowlers in actuality.

I've always liked the Gin Blossoms, a '90s rock band from Arizona whose music has held up well. Just became aware of this song recently, which is now my favorite GB song. Sad, poignant lyrics but that's true of a lot of their music. This song was written by Doug Hopkins, who was the band's co-founder, main songwriter and lead guitarist but who had a debilitating drinking problem and was kicked out of the band because of it right before they hit it big and tragically committed suicide in 1993.

Some Irish music with the Dropkick Murphys. Rose Tattoo.

One of my favorites!

Also enjoy all the music Dynamic shared as well as the Gin Blossoms that Don mentioned. It would have been nice to been in a generation before rap was the "most popular" genre.

Here's a live version of Hey Joe by Alvin Lee and Ten Years Later. Many think Hey Joe was written by Jimi Hendrix but it wasn't. It was written by a white man, Billy Roberts. The arrangement Hendrix used was created by another white man, Tim Rose.

Excellent! Hey Joe has been covered by a million artist including Robert Plant and John Bonham in their pre-Led Zeppelin band, the name escapes me right now, to Nazareth. This version, by Roy Buchanan, is worth a listen. Maybe my favorite. Roy Buchanan was a pioneer with the guitar way back in the fifties.

Guilty of Being White is a hardcore punk rock song by the band Minor Threat. It's a pro-white song about how the song's writer, Ian MacKaye, was harassed in school because was white. Naturally the anti-whites called him "racist" for complaining about this.

I believe Ian MacKaye went to a public high school in Washington DC, probably Wilson High, in the 1980's. I remember that song well. I think the album was also called Minor Threat. A very honest, descriptive song that was the product of MacKaye's anger he felt at being the target of extreme hatred and probably violence because of his skin color.

Paul Kelly's song Dumb Things. The story of many of our lives.

I like! And yes, Jimmy Page drew from this.

Here's a new band called the Starcrawlers. They hail from Los Angeles. They're pretty good. They're keeping alive the tradition of white rock music. The lead singer is 19 and is 6 foot 3.

The song starts at :40.

EP, the band definitely has a cool sound, but that gal needs to eat something!

I read a review of the band in the Guardian, a major British publication. They really blasted the band for being white and not being inclusive by being white. They blasted the genre and the looks of the lead singer, everything they could think of.

The reason they blasted this band is because the band is very good, is generating interest and the leftists don't like interest in the traditionally white genre of rock music. The Guardian is a hard left, anti-white publication.

If the leftists don't like it it must be good.

The Guardian will trash them for being White, of course. But I wouldn't call them a great or even good band. They actually suck from that video evidence. To each his own but I wouldn't hold them out as an example of a rockin' band at all.

I guess you and I disagree on this one. I think they're really good. A lot of other people do too which is why some on the left are attacking them.

Their video is kind of silly in places though, but their music is good.

Screw the killjoys in life gentlemen! Don't let anybody or anything ruin it for you! Enjoy the moment because it's all you have!!

Another British Band

A song for lower/middle class America sung by Canadian's lol

Awesome Danish Band that has been rocking out for a while now

Southern Rock Band Whiskey Myer's. Been a fan for a while now, finally getting some radio time on my local Rock Station

Thank you gentlemen, for the Christmas additions. Here it is the evening of the 23rd and I can't believe it. Christ is here though, for all of us. Merry Christmas CFers!

Yes sir and Jesus is the reason for the season. Don't tell the stores that as they want everyone to CONSUME 24 Hours a Day!

Possibly the greatest rock drummer of all time died today. Neal Peart. He was 67...
