Good Music Videos

Here's a pretty good punk rock song, Us Against the World, by a band called The Observers. That's how I feel sometimes.

It contains the classic line "All the hippies drive SUVs and their kids are dying for their gasoline."

Unfortunately The Observers lean left but that applies to most punk rock bands.

And now...for something completely different. I have a nerdy side of me even though I'm an ol' metal head and yet I also like gospel music. Go figure.

Here's something educational. The instrument is really unique and the nice lady is quite talented and pleasant to listen to. Call me weird but I liked this :)

That thing is really cool. Plus she's a heckuva musician.

Indeed EP, I appreciate talents like that. I work graveyard shifts and when I do I find myself listening to classical fm stations, yes NPR, and things like her playing get spotlighted and talked about. Geeks me out but I'm cool with it :)

Here's a video that shows the adventurous spirit of white people. Whites have always been pioneers, traveling into unknown terrain...

Junior Brown. Highway Patrol. Highway Patrol is also an excellent TV show from the 1950s.

I like it. Good musicianship too!

Here's something from the very last album from the late great Johnny Cash, recorded very near the end of his life...No real video accompanying it but just the music and the man doing the talkin'....Enjoy the depth of a real man, warts and all at the end of his life and what he wanted to say:

I always thought Jorgen Ingmann's recording of Apache was the best quality soundwise. This Shadows' cut is really good. I hear more detail here than before. I don't know if it's remastered. This video is ahead of its time, also. 1960!

Nice! I always liked that tune and thought it had a really epic mood feel to it. The bass could have been a tad louder in the mix but nice tune for sure. Thanks for posting.

Hey guys,
Just a different interjection of something for studying, relaxing, reading or whatever to break away and take some refuge. This is something that's really the opposite of the auditorily intrusive noise coming at us all day...Enjoy:

3 String Shovel Guitar

Outstanding! A three string shovel "guitar" and what looks like a 13/16 deep well socket for a slide... And jammin' too! Go White man, go!!

Glad you enjoyed it. That's about as American genius as you can get!

Beautiful...

Some nice new age type music by Marconi Union.

May we all get to Heaven before The Devil Knows we're Dead

Here's a pretty good video for a song called Lights in the Night by a band called Flash and the Pan. It has some really nice pictures.

Flash and the Pan was an Australian studio band that had a minor hit in the 1970s called Hey St. Peter. Their music is worth checking out.

I discovered this melodic couple who in my opinion are a blessing. They live the simple life, yet not as isolated and restricted as the Amish. They have several songs on their channel which has a variety of topics. Enjoy:

Thanks, BFU I needed to hear that. Been in a funk since Father's Day.
