This title of this song is what I'm sick of, a society full of lies and people who do little more than shoot incessant lines of BS at everyone else. It matters not whether you are strangers or "friends", the lies just keep coming. The word of most people is meaningless as well. We've got a lot of problems in this country and a lack of honesty is one of them. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I should expect nothing more from a lost world.

The Knickerbockers were a New Jersey lounge group until they clicked onto this up-tempo tune with trace of Beatles-Liverpool accent thrown in (notice how these guys pronounce girl as "gull"). They sounded so much like the Beatles at the time that alot of folks thought this was a Beatles song.
