Glad to see slot receiver T.J. Moe land somewhere. The Rams have alot of overrated and under-preforming wideouts so with a good camp and pre-season he's got a chance.

I hope Moe makes the team. Fisher did have Eddie Berlin, Drew Bennett and Mariani during his tenure with the Titans.

From what I remember, last season was the first in 16 years that the Rams didn’t have at least one white WR make the roster. Ricky Proehl from 1998-2001, then Mike Furrey, Kevin Curtis, Dane Looker, Drew Bennett, and Danny Amendola up until 2012. It would be nice to see Moe make the team.

He also has Chase Reynolds hanging around at rb, although Reynolds and Mariani played with his son at Montana, so hopefully he realized the talent Reynolds has, he never really did play Mariani at wr although he was really good in college, just return man.

Would love to see Chase Reynolds get some carries at rb, they have some non nondescript affletes at rb. Zac Stacy has turned out to be one of the better rookie backs last year but that isn't saying much, he doesn't really stand out in any area, averaged 3.9 ypc (I think 4.1 was the highest for backs in big roles (Eddie Lacy 4.1 offensive rookie of the year), and a few highly touted guys with 3.5 like Leveon Bell.

damn just read the post that said Russell Allen retired

Anybody know much about WR Steve Hull from Illinois? He signed with the Saints after a workout.

not much except an Illinois/Saints fan is really excited about the signing, only to be met by typical dwfs who call him a "camp body at best". Hopefully he can get a real shot, but they might be right, but I doubt it will be because of talent. 6'1, 2 pounds under 200. 4.5 speed, 36 inch vertical, was 7 yards short of 1k last year, but missed a game so would have went over it, 7 tds with quite a few plays over 40 yards so he should have better highlights than that.
"
Hull led the nation with 46 catches for 712 receiving yards during the last five games of 2013. He also played on special teams.
Hull was limited by injuries during his college career, including a shoulder injury in 2012 that led to the switch to receiver, the position at which he was originally recruited."

Speaking of New Orleans, not sure anyone even noticed, but in the Broncos forum I recently posted an article about Jacob Hester trying out for Sean Payton's caste team as a fullback....Looks like it might've been his stand as a pro football player, as it appears he has not been signed, yet?

Yeah, I saw that too. The Saints have kept two fullbacks before, and really when you look at it, beyond Pierre Thomas, there's really not much to talk about at RB, so there's a good chance Hester sticks.

Just a quick headcount on who's still available:

QB
Kolb, Grossman, Tebow

RB
Leonard

WR
Collie

TE
Sheffler, Clark

OT
Stewart, Winston, Svitek, Clabo, Roland, Trueblood

OG
Incognito, Dahl, Colledge, Brisel, Reynolds

OC
Baas, Cook

DL
Keisel, Carriker, Gibson, Bannan

LB
Angerer, Bradley, Herring, Connor

S
Gregory, Leonhard, Doughty, Giordano

Sad part is, you could build a pretty decent team with this list of guys, yet, here we are, nearly in June, and they are still unemployed...

Quarterback Jimmy Clausen is still a free agent. He was once thought of a a potential franchise quarterback. He was drafted in 2010.

Clausen would make a good backup for a west coast offense team. Perhaps he still has a chance to be a quality starter.

*puts on her :tinfoil3:*

I have this funny feeling a deal was struck among The Powers That Be. Riley Cooper was allowed to keep playing, but in "exchange" Richie Incognito is to be kept off the field for life.

I was quite surprised that Cooper was "forgiven" (not that he committed any sin that needed forgiveness). Usually the punishment for racial "sin" is excommunication for life from the ruling Altar of Political Correctness. I fully expected Cooper to be Derbyshired/Sterlinged/Zimmermaned/Imused/Emma Wested/James Watsoned, etc.

DraftDaddy linked to a story about a White cornerback prospect getting a shot with the New York Giants.

Kyle Sebetic, formerly of the Dayton Flyers, was signed to a rookie free-agent contract on Tuesday.

i don't recall having ever seen his name before, though his numbers are superb. best of luck to him in his uphill battle to make the roster.

Sebetic is a cornerback who played for the Division 1AA Dayton Flyers.

He had good production and good measurables. At 5-11 Sebetic has good size for a cornerback, something teams are emphasizing nowadays.

If Sebetic was black he would have been drafted somewhere in the mid rounds. Instead, due to anti-white racism, he went undrafted.

There's a common pattern with white players in the NFL. They play well in the preseason and then, inexplicably (sarcasm), get cut in favor of black players who don't play as well. I hope this doesn't happen to Sebetic.

Why do teams even bother inviting these white players to training camp when they have no intention of keeping them, no matter how well they play? Possibly they do this for publicity, for their white fan base. It helps maintain the illusion that the NFL doesn't discriminate against white players when, of course, it does.

they are invited because teams need camp bodies and with White players they don't have to spend a bunch of time stressing fundamentals. Once in a blue moon a White player will get a real chance. They don't give a **** about a White fan base. Idiots usually buy tickets anyway. They used to like the occasional "try hard Rudy" (no matter how talented) but now it seems they don't even like them. It seems either Your either well known from a big school drafted early (happening less and less) or nothing at all.

His weight has to be an error. Nate Soleberg who was roughly his listed weight of 165 pounds and was much skinnier looking. His neck and face look too full. I don't think any NFL team has played a 165 pound cornerback since the early 80's.

He weighed 194 at his pro day, Soelberg weighed 176. Just looked him up, already listed a Saftey and if he ll probably get to play as a nickel or dime back at best, so I doubt they change that listing. White guys who play in nickel and dime packages stay listed as safety. Would be nice to see one lined up as the number 1 or 2 corner, we haven't made any ground there. He would have a better shot of making it. We already saw Tyler sash not get a shot. Now waiting on them to give Cooper Taylor a shot, he was supposed to be a nickel/dime guy to cover the new breed of tight ends (big receivers). The comments from Giants fans about Sebetic makes me sick.

dwid is right about the comments being made about Sebetic on Giants forums. Sebetic is already being ridiculed and mocked. It's clearly racially motivated. Sebetic hasn't even played a down yet.

I started a thread about white players being bashed...

Is there a chance Cooper Taylor could be used as a corner down the road? He reminds me of Jason Sehorn but I have not watched to many of his highlights.

Bad news and good news. The bad news is that Tyler Gaffney suffered a season ending injury. The good news is that the Patriots claimed him off of waivers so he will have surgery and next year he will be a Patriot! Perfect team for him. Great move by the Patriots Organization. Tyler will look great wearing the red, white & blue as he runs for tds!

Gaffney doesn't appear to be white.

Safety Tom Nelson signed with the Panthers....he began his career as a Corner Back with Cincinnati.

The Panthers tried to sneak Gaffney unto their IR? Hope Gaffney sticks with football & the Patriots; baseball could be a healthier option>

If you want to go through this tired debate yet again, just go to the Tyler Gaffney thread. For purposes of the Caste System, he's white as snow. The DWF's, media, and coaches view him as a cracka. Heck, for proof, just look at his draft position. A black with his measurables and production would have been 3rd round or better.

Well said. The who's white who's not debate gets tiring.
