Yes fire this clown and get him out of coaching-he is a BUM!His record at Northwestern was 10-45,at Stanford 16-18.With lots of talent he never made it to the Super Bowl at Minnesota and was 4-8 in the playoffs-at least Bud Grant could get the vikings to the Super Bowl even if they never won. With the Cardinals this BUM is 13-30.He is no coach lets face it.He is in way over his head and just as big a loser as coach as Micheal Vick is at QB or Calvin Brock as a fighter!!

The Cards problem isn't the coach, although I'm no Denn Green fan. The trouble is, those two talented QBs, a great tailback, 2 excellent wideouts...and no O-line. They can't run the ball, they can't pass protect. Everyone laughed at the Jets' draft, but they picked up two O-linemen in the first round, and look at them now. A $30M tailback is wasted when he has NO line.

Who's responsible for the Cardinals draft? Doesn't Denny Green have some say over the players who are drafted? If the Cardinals don't have a decent O-line, then that is at least partially Denny Green's fault, too.

Not to mention the Arizona D and how bad it blows.

I don't think James has much left. As for Green let's have more wonderful press conferences, that was a meltdown for the ages......

w is r, I agree with you about James, too. I think the Colts knew the deal, which is why they let him go. I thought Rhodes would be better than he is, too, but again - looks like the Colts knew the deal on that one, which is why they picked up Addai.

Green is as good as gone after this season.

James was already noticeably slower two years ago. He never really recovered what speed he had after tearing his ACL early on in his career.Peyton Manning and Indianapolis' (mostly white) offensive line made James effective. On just about any other team he would have beenan average back at best with his slow, plodding style. Arizona should have invested that money in its offensive line and defense.

Even slower than James is Corey Dillon these days. Dillon broke into the open for a 51 yard gain a few games ago, which had to be the slowest 51 yard gain in NFL history. One writer said it looked like Dillon "was running with a piano on his back."

A local wag wrote of the Steelers Najeh Davenport today, "If he ever scores on a long run, willhe reach the endzoneon Sunday or Monday?"

But ask these same writers why every single running back is black, even all the backups, and the first word they'll utter is "speed."

The sad thing is that the Pats have to keep Dillon happy until they dump him, otherwise, he's a pain in the locker room. Happened in Cincy; its a shame, because with Evans and Maroney splitting carries, they'd do pretty well.

Dillon has been shot for about 2 years now. Really he needs to be converted to a powerback like Otis Anderson did but he is too small for that. This will be his last season in New England.

It does rather surprise me that no one in the sports media is calling for Dennis Green to be fired. But word has it that Steve Maruicci going to replace him next year.

The Lions were terrible with Mariucci because he wont dare discipline his beloved affletes. Ever watch him on NFL network working with Deion? He's like Ed McMahon to Jonny Carson, forcing a big fake smile after all of Deion's infantile antics.

Well it happened. I guess it's back to catfish fishing shows on ESPN 2 for Denny Green. He and Red Fischer can make a great color team for ESPN 2 as they describe the catching of record Bass.....
