Currently watching North Dakota State on their way to another win against East Tennessee State. Unfortunately not as pale face friendly as they once were. Affletes from GA, TX, FL at their skill positions.. They even started year with a black quarterback, but he was injured and phased out by QB Cam Miller.

James Madison defeated Montana last night.

NDSU "Fullback" Hunter Luepke with 9 carries for 67 yards and a TD!

Sitting at 349yards on 54 carries and 5TDs on the year. Over 6 yards per carry!

I noticed JMU's QB Cole Johnson had a great season - 39 TDs to 2 INTs. Better than anything Trey Lance has ever done. At 6'5 215 lbs it sounds like he is more than physically capable of playing the position at the next level. Just goes to show what a manufactured hype job Trey Lance was - there are better QBs at the FCS level that are getting no attention from the next level at all...it's absurd.

Incredible efficiency. Gotta admit that guy wasn't even on my radar. Him and Cole Kelley sound like Pros to me!

Thanks for starting this thread Bucky! You now there are some hard core fans here @ CF when FCS threads are started!

#1 Sam Houston St loses 42 -19! to #8 Montana State....who has LB Troy Andersen 6'-4" 235 led team w 11 tackle s(2 TFL) ....Seems like a blend of Brian Urlacher & Taysom Hill! The NFL has to be taking notice!! Dude has the speed of a Safety!
.....Freshman QB Tommy Mellott has some wheels rushing for 76 yards & 2 TD's + 165 yards passing & 2 TD's
...QB Bearcats Eric Schmidt threw for 354 yards & 2 TD's ; but had 3 INT's; Cody Chrest had 8 rec 64 yds

South Dakota State WR Jaxon Janke(Soph. 6'-2" 210) solid game 6 receptions 119 yards & 2 TD's in a 35 - 21 Win over Villanova....twin bro Jadon has 3 kick returns for 71 yards!
....'Nova's Daniel Smith (6'-0 190)is a smooth little QB! If he cant land on an NFL Practice Squad? I'm sure he could star in the CFL! He had 271 yards passing & 2 TD's + 44 yards rushing & TD

Good to see Fullback (Jr. 6'-1" 236) Hunter Luepke( 9-69-1) from Spencer Wisconsin with a nice game and get opportunities to carry the ball! After the nice run ; footwork; bouncing to the outside Announcers said "if he's not careful he will have to go to the Tailback room"
6'-7" 313 lb Cordell Volson will be the next Bison O-Lineman in the NFL
Soph. D-Tackle Eli Mostaert could be one to watch...

FCS Semi-Finals
#3 James Madison @ #2 North Dakota State FRIDAY 17th 8:15 CST
South Dakota State @ #8 Montana State SATURDAY 18th 1:00 CST

Great post, Leo. The post above is very worthy of being bump up, so more can see it. Had I not seen the post last week, there is zero chance I would've even watched a minute of the JMU game tonight. Now I've looked at both rosters and intend to watch quite a bit of the game, specifically to check out JMU's QB. Will even watch Coastal and NI.

P.S: Thanks a bunch to post Twenty Two for posting so much great info. I used to follow college ball and the draft much closer. Cut back significantly in the last few years. Nonetheless, I still like reading about top whites and Twenty Two, Leo, Rocky B. and others do a great job keeping us informed. Keep up the good work!

Can we just call him a running back. Here cares what the team or media labels him. What a talent!

Nice to see Luepke with a big game. Not sure what the circumstances were around the Va Tech black quarterback that transferred to NDSU getting passed over by Cam Miller but i'll take it. At the FCS level seeing black quarterbacks show up on teams in the Dakotas/Montana is just a WTF kind of thing.

QB Mellott and LB Troy Andersen have been as advertised! Impressive.

For SDSU Janke bro's and TE Tucker Kraft have been the passing game!

Looks like South Dakota State has another future Pro TE in Tucker Kraft. Over 600yds and 6TDs on the season

Dominant performance!

Yes it was. We need all the positive news we can get these days. We will have alot more opportunity to watch Mellott as he continues to improve. What a game!

Sad to see BYU lose today. They came into the bowl game 10-2. I guess in a way it's not too bad as they have moved more and more away from playing our guys. Just
look at how Gunner Romney was ignorred most of the year including in todays bowl game. Sad to see for such a fine receiver. Hope next year we at least get to see a
white running back again and maybe a few wideouts get to break out.

Utah State is leading over Oregon State 24 to 13 late 4th quarter. Brandon Bowling has 4 catches for 51 yards and one touchdown. He has now
went over 800 yards for the season if you include tonight. Not a bad year. Too bad he is a senior.

Kraft is next level potential. I caught some of the Janke touches some tough running, you don't head fake them into the ground.

Yes Kraft is a stud. Announcers we're praising him throughout the contest. I should look up who they had calling that game. Much better than ESPNs "A" and "B" team caste announcers we usually get.

Anyway they were saying how SDSU coaches think Kraft is further along at this point as a True Sophomore than Dallas Goedert was at that stage. Already more physically imposing.

I see some post today where made in the Bowl season thread....Wanted to re=start

After Montana State Freshman QB Tommy Mellott got his ankle rolled on the nice drive during 1st series ...the game was basically over. FCS Powerhouse North Dakota State simply too good....

As El Gringo pointed out...the announcers said LB Troy Andersen is the Bobcats Fastest player @ 6'-4" 235 will be Drafted in the NFL...had a minimal impact most of the 1st half until a big-time bone jarring hit that was reviewed. He also got to run the ball on a trick play that did not work out

236lb Hunter Luepke 3 TD's ...on 12 carries for 74 yards....is very agile at his size and an excellent reciever. Had a 10 yard run called back due to a Holding.

Turns out I was posting in the wrong thread! Sorry boys lol. The majestic beast was the player of the game.
Only one of his touchdowns is up on the North Dakota State Twitter account because they were scoring so fast in the first half their Twitter dude couldn’t keep up.

Montana state should’ve went to Anderson at quarterback after their starter was hurt.

I was out road hunting for coyotes this morning so I listened to the game on the radio and posted when I had to pull over and take a leak! One thing that pissed me (literally) off was color commentator Ross Tucker who Phall would refer to as a “huge racial cuck” was constantly talking about Luepkes versatility. He can play fullback, tight end, h-back and even in a pinch his coach may throw him in as a middle linebacker according to the Hrc Tucker. Why can’t he be just a damn tailback?? The same thing happened to Peyton Hillis and Owen Schmitt in college. They both averaged over 7 yards a carry but as seniors the coaches
Wanted to take advantage of their “versatility “ and moved them into a more h-back role. I suppose it has to do with white players being willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win as opposed to the more selfish prima Donna’s on the team.
