Thanks for posting the article Don. It's great to see the kid getting some postive talk in the media. He has star receiver written all over him. You would think that more teams would take a chance on some white receivers with so many of them having success. I do feel bad for Austin Collie though with Manning getting hurt.

From weenieworld:
Eric Decker becomes the heavy favorite for pass targets in Denver now that Brandon Lloyd has been traded to St. Louis.
Demaryius Thomas, Eddie Royal, and Matt Willis will vie for snaps behind Decker, who projects as the primary beneficiary of Monday's trade. While a shaky passing game and run-first offense are negative factors on the surface, Decker was already averaging nine targets per start in a bottom-six passing offense that ranked 25th in pass attempts per game. Decker is going to be an every-week WR3 going forward. The Broncos face the Dolphins in Week 7. Oct 17 - 1:09 PM

From rotowire:
With Brandon Lloyd off to St. Louis, Decker becomes the No. 1 receiver in Denver.

Recommendation: Decker leads the Broncos in receptions so far this year and has been a very good wideout for fantasy owners. How he will fare with Tim Tebow as his quarterback is still up in the air, as is his reaction to Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal (if he stays in Denver) returning from injuries.

Wow! Decker goes from a number 3 or 4 receiver to a number 1. Good stuff! Who was the last white player considered a number 1? Kevin Curtis maybe? With Tebow and Decker the Broncos will be exciting to watch, at least on offense.

The Broncos are finally waking up and smelling the coffee. This is great news guys. I'm so happy for Eric Decker and for Tebow as well. This should be one hell of a tandem for years to come. They need to add another receiver down the road and maybe another running back. I would also address some issues on the offensive line. I can't wait to see Denver play this weekend. The start of a new era!

Good article about Eric. Decker works out with Larry Fitzgerald and he has some great things to say.

"He is a guy that is self-motivated and is confident in his God-given ability," Larry Fitzgerald Jr. wrote in an e-mail. "He wants to be special so it comes natural to him. I know anybody that knows him and knows what he stands for is happy for him. He deserves it all."

And

"It's like he has iron lungs, he never gets tired," Fitzgerald said. "I remember when he hurt his foot a few years back and he hadn't ran in months. The first day he came back he beat everybody. I was just shaking my head in disbelief with the effort he puts forth and how he was able to pull that off. He just wants it."

Coach Leslie Frazier takes a swat at Eric Decker, using the usual caste speak reserved for white players.

With Denver's ground game churning up a league-best 208 yards a game behind Tebow — the Broncos averaged just 101.8 yards rushing with Orton under center — teams are stacking the box to slow down the quirky quarterback running the college-style read option and his trusty tailback, Willis McGahee. That's left Decker in single coverage and he's shown a knack for beating his man downfield for big gains and clutch catches that have been a major ingredient in Denver's 5-1 run since Tebow took over. "He does have some deceptive speed, and he runs good routes, as well," said Minnesota coach Leslie Frazier, whose Vikings (2-9) host the Broncos (6-5) on Sunday. "But part of it is they're running the ball so effectively — the No. 1 rushing team in the league — that you commit so many people to the run and all of a sudden Eric is behind your secondary.

Dude, you left out the next paragraph which is classic:

"Then you're kicking yourself, but you feel like you have to stop the run. Sometimes you're trying to do it with 10 or 11 people, and there he is behind your secondary."

So, there you have it.....teams are playing either 10 or eleven people on the line....leaving Decker totally uncovered!.....LMAO......Reminds me of the days when people claimed that the only reason Welker was getting all those catches was Moss being "triple teamed on the other side" leaving Welker pretty much uncovered as well....where be Randy today and who leads the NFL in recieving.....

I'm hoping Frazier finishes 2-14 and his azz is fired. If he feels this way about Decker then he obviously believes in the Casteopia and Gerhart truly has no chance with him at the helm.

I had an exchange the other day with the owner of a long-established fantasy football site that I subscribe to. He had written an article on various quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends whose fantasy stock was likely to improve in 2012 and beyond. Of the 37 RBs, WRs and TEs he wrote a paragraph about, only two were said to be lacking speed -- tall, fast, playmakers Eric Decker and Riley Cooper. Of Decker he wrote: I know he has a QB issue, but Decker has quietly been one of the breakout stars at receiver this year. He’s been much improved, and while he’s certainly not fast, the guy gets open and gains separation.

He's not fast, but he not only gets open, he gains separation. No cognitive dissonance there at all.

Of Cooper, he wrote: If the Eagles let DeSean Jackson go as a free agent, then Cooper has a chance to emerge as a solid possession guy. He’s not a burner by any stretch, but he’s not slow, and this is obviously a good offense.

Cooper is merely averaging 18.5 yards per catch in his three starts, after also being a big-play receiver at the SEC mecca of Florida. So I wrote him:

"Curious that the only two players you go out of your way to assure us aren't fast in this week's Strategy column are Eric Decker and Riley Cooper. And while you write that Decker "certainly isn't fast" somehow he "gets open and gains separation." See anything contradictory in that sentence? If he's getting open and gaining separation yet isn't fast, what then does that make the DBs who are covering him?

"Decker blows past defensive backfields every game. If Tebow was more accurate Decker wouldn't just be one of the leading TD scorers in the league, he would be THE leader. But of course he's accomplishing this without speed.

"As for Cooper, he's 6'3" and ran a 4.5 40 at the Combine. Like the similarly sized Decker he also has deep speed and big play ability. But he can only aspire to be a "possession guy" for some reason, even after his 59 yard reception last week."

He lamely wrote back: There’s no contradiction. You can not be fast and still get open and gain separation.

Of course he's not going to openly admit his bias. I've written him several times before on his routine negative stereotyping of Whites. At times he's even let up on certain players, such as Brian Hartline last year. And I know I'm not the only one because one of his complaints at the end of last season was for subscribers not to tell him he's biased against White receivers and running backs, because he claims not to be. Every time someone politely but firmly points out anti-White material, it can't hurt, and I'm sure it helps in many cases over time.

Well, technically, what he says is true, but for it to be true, the DBs must be slower. That's the only way his statement would make any sense at all, otherwise the WR would never be able to "gain separation". This is simple logic

If a WR runs a 5.2 40 but the DBs run a 5.3 40, then the WR would still be able to "gain separation" but he certainly wouldn't be considered "fast", at least in the NFL.

What he's really saying is that Cooper's 4.5 40 is not as fast as a black player's 4.5 40. It's just much more "deceptive".

Yesterday Skip Bayless was talking Tebow then mentioned how Eric Decker is the leading reciever for the Broncos?? Saying "he's not very fast like those Stanford recievers"...WHAT???

No way Decker gets this said about him if he were not so melanin defecient! I guess good ole Skip missed Decker's 90 yard TD punt return...it must be that sneaky speed?? Watch him torch the Patriot affletic secondary this Sunday! Then what Skippy??

The "girly" Skippy Ball-less is throwing way too much praise at the feet of a white athlete (Tebow), so he fully realizes that he must publicly tear another one down (Decker) in order to make Stephen A. Smiff and the other Marxist slime at BSPN happy. That's all this is about. He's merely trying to keep/save his job, knowing how much his employers in Bristol hate gentiles.

Matter of fact, I was listening to Smiff's radio show a bit tonight, for comedic value, and Tim Legler was playing the a$$hole/white Stepin-Fetchit role -- putting down white NBA players (Josh McRoberts, Pau Gasol) in order to amuse ESPN's modern day version of George Jefferson!

Good that these sniffers do this, any psych majors here might diagnose these exagerated behaviors as cries for help. I have long thought that alot of DWLs are basically crying out for help and if colored folk were gone tomorrow they would be the happiest people on Earth. Think of the bullying that must go on for the system to operate, everyday you are surrounded by angry retards and psychotic jews and white libs who have slipped basically into sadism.

Plus it is really easy to mock them on any boards with casual comments such as "nice bit of stereotyping there Skip."

This should be the year Eric Decker joins Wes Welker and Jordy Nelson as elite receivers.

Eric Decker confirmed he's encountered no setbacks recovering from his sprained MCL, which was suffered in the playoffs. Decker believes he would have played had the Broncos advanced to the AFC title game. He "expects to be good to go" for the start of Organized Team Activities. Decker will be Denver's Z receiver, or flanker, in the new Peyton Manning-led offense, while Demaryius Thomas will be the "X", or split end. Both players have strong fantasy potential in the revised, pass-first system.

And now for some feel-good news. Eric Decker and country music singer Jessie James announced their engagement.

I realize I'm the only member who cares about this stuff, but I'm going to say it anyway.

She dated Reggie Bush. She's forever tainted.
Eric should rethink his decision.

I could never be with a woman who lowered herself to dating a negro. Banging a black is a deal-breaker for me no matter how hot a woman is!

I don't believe it. These two were spotted in Vegas on one weekend. She was spotted talking to Bush at the Coyote Ugly bar in Las Vegas after James gave a performance there. He was obviously trying to hit on her. He was then spotted in her Cabana by the pool the next day trying to hit on her again. She told him she was not interested.

This was during the Kim Kardashian "surge", so I can see the press running with this. James has never acknowledged dating Bush. In my younger days, I hit on many girls in clubs who were not interested in me, and the next week people were asking how I "scored" with that woman.

Peyton Manning, Eric Decker Perfecting Their Passing Connection

by Mark Stringer

The Denver Broncos‘ new franchise quarterback is quick to work. Broncos QB Peyton Manning and WR Eric Decker have been working together in recent weeks to perfect their pass connection and to insure there are no doubts that Manning is showing no signs of breaking down after several neck surgeries.

In a video posted on the team website Wednesday, Manning said his work with Decker is not only helping the new teammates establish a connection but will mean wins when the season starts.

He goes on to explain how these workouts will really help in critical situations and how rewarding these work outs will feel later during the season when you look back and remember that you worked on that over and over during the offseason and now it showed up on a big-time play in a big-time game.

These workouts are nothing new to Manning since he has held these workouts every April for his entire career and it seems to pay off for him every season. If you have ever watched Manning you can tell that he and his receivers are usually always on the same page and when they are not he’s pretty upset about it. As a quarterback you deserve to be upset when a receiver messes up, but only when you have put in the time and the effort than Manning does. You can’t just show up in September and then be upset at the receivers for not doing everything perfect. Manning demands that his receivers and himself be prepared and on the same page at all times. This is the main reason that the Broncos will improve in their first year with Manning.

Manning has been recovering from a neck injury that caused him to miss the entire 2011 season and because of the injury the Indianapolis Colts released the 14 year veteran. The Broncos jumped on the opportunity to sign Manning.

Decker has been the closet workout partner with Manning so far and he feels confident that Manning has what it takes to still be a great NFL quarterback. I do not know if WR Demaryius Thomas is involved in these workouts, but if he’s not I would hurry and join if I were him. Manning is a perfectionist and if he’s perfecting everything with Decker he will feel more confident throwing his way when game time rolls around.

Decker said on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” on ESPN Radio on Tuesday that he hasn’t seen anything in the workouts that would lead him to believe Manning’s arm strength has decreased due to four procedures on his neck.

I am excited to see if the Broncos can improve on their 8-8 season even though their schedule is supposed to be the second-toughest in the league. I can promise you this: they have the signal-caller to improve and he’s going to demand perfection and if he gets most to jump on board the Broncos will be tough to beat.

They don't come any more ignorant than this knuckledragger from Yahoo Sports. Comments can be written following the article:

Also, who is Manning throwing the football to? Demaryius Thomas was a nice surprise but Eric Decker is not a real NFL caliber receiver. His best asset is probably that he's a good blocker. Blocking is a talent that is useful in an offense with a running quarterback like Tebow, but Decker is pretty useless in a Manning-led offense.

This moron obviously has no clue about football, but then again, what can you expect from a member of "Steeler nation" as his profile indicates? Eric Decker could have pro-bowl type year, and I'm sure the DWFs will say that Manning is the one who made him.

This sounds too good to be true and from Weenieworld.

Peyton Manning revealed the Broncos coaching staff plans to move Eric Decker around and use him several different ways this season.

Decker lined up primarily in the slot last year, but it sounds like he's going to see more action outside in 2012. Decker has run more routes and caught more passes from Manning than any other Broncos receiver over the past three weeks. Manning called him the "veteran" of the receiver group and spoke highly of his game. We sense a breakout.

Look for Eric Decker to be one of the break-out players this season and be in the Top 10 AFC Recieving Stats! But CFers already know this!

This Yahoo writer is a total baffoon who just lost all credibility...look foward to the "Season-opener" on Sept 9th; seeing Decker score the Game-Winning TD vs the Steelers(Nation)!!

BTW....Wesley had a good reply defending Decker.
