arsenal have a good oportunity of climbing up in the table
they'll play at reading and at wigan before christmas, and then they'll play against west ham at home the day after christmas
now that they qualified for the next round of the champions league and that they got the carling cup out of the picture, they can focus on those important matches
i hope that they'll start with a win at reading
i also hope that gervinho will feel comfortable on the bench

after the win at reading, arsenal wins at wigan
the match against wigan is postponed, so they took all the points they could during this period, excellent
the only goal of the match against wigan was scored on a penalty by the white middlefielder arteta
walcott started because giroud is suposedly sick (but maybe it's to give walcott some play time, hoping that he'll sign a new contract so that arsenal won't lose money because of him - if they sell walcott right now they'll lose a lot of money)

Aston villa are starting 10 whites today. Not completely enjoying Villa got dominated but glad to see the goalscorers for Chelsea are all whites, Moses is a non factor at half time, playing really bad. Benteke for villa has been caught offside 5-6 times, he may be the dumbest player in the prem, he doesnt read the game at all.

chelsea come back in the mix for the title, and as giles said in another thread i think that they'll be dangerous until the last day
united dropped 2 points
chelsea is 11 points behind, and they have a match less (so they could be 8 points behind)
chelsea started 9 whites

Unfortunately, Chelsea had 3 Brazilians playing at once, but 2 were white.

It looks like Luiz has taken over for Mikel at MF. Mikel wasn't even on the bench. I don't know if he is injured. Luiz seems to have a lot more skill and attacking ability than Mikel. It's too bad he's Brazilian. You know how I hate Brazilians.

ha, that's what i said about chelsea a while ago, i said that i wouldn't be surprised to see luiz play in mikel's place in important matches, even though he has never played in this position as far as i know
now when terry comes back they will be able to play with terry and cahill at the same time
after a search, mikel is suspended because of that time when he argued with the referees
but now they have tried this, and they showed that it was a possibility

i don't think that piazon is going to play a lot
chelsea will not have 3 brazilian very often in the season

otherwise, i was wondering, which team is worst, manchester united or manchester city?
they're pretty much the same in the breakdowns

We'll see if they replace Ivanovic or Cahill with Terry.

We'll also see of they sign a player or 2 in Jan.

I have heard that Sturridge and Ince might go to Liverpool.

i've read it, but both teams have great english players (rooney and hart, mainly), manchester united have van persie, manchester city have aguero, but both have a lot of non-whites

No,the thing is Mancity have the ability to split open defences, control a game and force the opposition play at their own tempo. They possess the creativity and guile needed to do so.True, they were horribly exposed in Europe, but the above still holds true.

ManU like I touched on earlier are a team who rely on individual brilliance, sheer pace/persistence.

As another example,see this video:

Manu end up winning 3-2(RVP hat-trick).
But they never were in control of the game,or its tempo.Manu's goals had to come from a slip by a black Soton defender at the crucial moment and two poorly defended corners.

Either this or they totally outpower teams and literally push them out of the stadium, resulting in "thrashings".
Even these thrashings,Manu rely on things like confusion in the opposition penalty box to score.
A LOT of their goals are just "bundled in".Or just through plain old set-pieces.In the 3-0 "thrashing" of Newcastle, they had 78% possession in the first 15 minutes. But of the 3,the first two goals came from set-pieces.

This is why they were humiliated by Barca in two CL finals. This is why they couldn't progress into the latter stages of the CL last year. This is why they were outclassed, ouplayed by Bilbao in the Europa league. This is why they were defeated by Cluj,Galatasaray in this years CL.

Yes, but we all know if Barca did have 7 black starters, especially Brazilians, they'd be much better.:icon_lol:

Maybe it is Brendan Rodgers' legacy. He seems to like black players.

regarding the transferts, when lampard scored his 2 goals against everton to earn his club 3 points, he celebrated the victory in a special way, it looked to me like he's leaving the club
i would like chelsea to keep him
with these 2 goals, he's only 20 goals away from henry for the most goals scored in premiere league: http://www.free-elements.com/England/ps.html

otherwize, there has been nice results in premiere league
arsenal has humiliated demba ba's newcastle (with 2 goals by giroud for his come back, could have been 3) so they are now 3 points from the 4th place with 1 match less (so they can take that4th place to tottenham really easily - tottenham one of the blackest clubs in the league)
chelsea also won and they are getting back to compete for the title
liverpool humiliated QPR (also one of the blackest clubs) and they are only 5 points away from everton - but they might sign a black striker
fulham had bad results in the last few matches but they played well, they were unlucky - in their defeat to swansea their number 1 goal keeper was not here and the 2nd goalkeeper made a big mistake which cost fulham a goal
berbatov is playing really nicely and sidwell is a very intelligent middlefielder

amongst the starters in that match:

demba ba, black, french
obertan, black, french
marveaux, black, french
papiss cissé is not french but played most of his career in france

on the bench or injuried/suspended for that match:
cabaye, partly asian, good player, french
ben arfa, arab, french
romain amalfitano, brother of amalfitano the french international, french
mehdi abeid, arab, french

yet the guy who's the closest to being french at the club is the english coach pardew, because he's white and he has a french-soundind name

newcastle is really close to the relegation

in france we joke about the club and we call it the 21st ligue 1 club, or "nouveau chateau", the translation in french of "newcastle"

i found this:

551144_10200211200262211_1588700052_n.jpg

i don't know how accurate it is
i think that it comes from the website "whoscored", they give marks to each player at every match, then they do the average, and here are the best 11 players of the first half of premiere league according to them

there are no black players, 9 whites and 2 south american mixed players, luis suarez (who was suspended for insulting a black player :mod: ) and rafael

i don't agree about the goal keeper, that's probably because you can't judge a goal keeper the same way you judge a striker or a middlefielder, that's such a unique position

I did not know Aston Villa's Charles N'Zogbia is tennis player Jo-Wilfred Tsonga's cousin.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_N'Zogbia

from the family ties thread:

"french" tennis player tsonga's football cousins are Charles N'Zogbia who currently plays for Aston Villa F.C and Maël Lépicier who plays for Congo
his brother is also a basketball player and his father was a professional handbal player

it's hard to find a black french player who has no family in sports
