Hall of Famer
I know it's very early but I thought I would start this thread so we could put information on future prospects.
Quarterback- this draft will be exciting with two very athletic prospects in Jake Locker and Christian Ponder. Other quarterbacks of note are Ricky Stanzi and Pat Devlin.
Wide receivers- some guys of note are Ryan Whalen, Greg Salas, Dane Sanzenbacher, and Matt Szczur, and Graham Zug. All should be drafted. Billy Flutie is a receiver from Boston College who has a chance to catch on as a free agent.
Runningback- It's the same old crap. The only white prospect who may get drafted is Chase Reynolds from Montana.
Tightend-Luke Stocker, Konrad Reuland, and Mike Mcneil are the top white prospects.
Fullback- Owen Marecic from Stanford. Shaun Chapas from Georgia should be drafted as well.
Offensive Tackle- This draft will be much better than this past one in regards to tackles. Gabe Carimi is probably the top tackle. Also ultra-athletic Nate Solder from Colorado runs a 4.89 40. Anthony Costanzo, Clint Boling, and Lee Ziemba are the other top white tackles.
Centers-Kristopher O'Dowd from USC is the top center. Stefen
Wisniewski and Colin Baxter are in the top 5.
Guards- John Moffitt from Wisconsin may be the top guard in the draft. Stephen Schilling from Michigan is also a very good prosect who runs a 5.06 40.
Inside linebackers- Casey Matthews and Alex Wujciak are the top two white inside linebackers. They should both be drafted fairly early.
Safeties- Free safety actually isn't too bad. Brian Lainhart, Brett Greenwood, Chris Prosinki, and Max Hewitt should all get drafted. Chris Conte from California has an outside chance and Alex Wacha does as well. Wacha is a talented kid who can play corner as well. At strong safety Dom DeCicco will be drafted and Andrew Rich, Max Sutter, and Joel Schwenzfeier should as well.
Outside linebackers- Mark Herzlich is one of the best outside linebackers in the draft. He runs a 4.68 so he has good speed for the position. Hopefully his cancer issues are now behind him and he can continue his great career. Colin Mccarthy is a very athletic linebacker from Miami. Ross Homan out of Ohio State is also very good and his stock is rising. Scott Lutrus from Conneticut is another athletic outside linebacker who runs a 4.67. He may catch on as a free agent.
Cornerback- Yeah right! Whites aren't allowed to play this position,.
Defensive tackles- If Jared Crick declares after this upcoming season he will most likely be the first defensive tackle taken. Colby Whitlock from Texas Tech should also be drafted early.
Defensive ends- It should be a little better than last draft for white defensive ends. How could it be any worse? Ryan Kerrigan out of Perdue is the top white end and should be a second round pick. Ryan
Winterswyk from Boise State is a 263 lb end who runs a 4.68. Jake Laptad from Kansas should also be drafted in the later rounds. Rice has an athletic end in Scott Solomon.
I'll edit this list and update the prospects.
