I guess the Titans didn't like getting Caste Football's highest grade last year.

They purged some of their white LBs, and now Vince Young instead of Leinart or Cutler???? Too bad.

Draft headline: "Caste System to Leinart: F--K OFF!"

And what were my Lions thinking? Ernie Sims. Who the hell is that? Mr. concussion. Hope Marianelli (or whatever his name is) knows what he's doing.

The Titans drafted the one-year wonder over the proven commodity. I hope they lose, lose, lose. I got tired of hearing Jackson yap about Leinart's supposed lack of arm strength and how Young is a winner. What, Leinart's not a winner at 37-2 over his college career. Joke.

And what's with not showing A.J. Hawk on stage? Was he not there?

Can Vince Young at least be turned into a receiver once the Titans* realize their mistake? The world wonders...

Edit: My mistake I originally put Eagles in place of Titans. Still a valid thought though since both teams could use a reciever.Edited by: Ta Waki Mumba

It wouldn't be surprising in the least now if the Titans and Steve McNair "miraculously" resolve their differences so that McNair can mentor their phenom.

I feel bad for Drew Bennett. Vince Young'sreceivers will have stats like Mike Vick's receivers, i.e. terrible ones.

Unbelievable to me that Leinart fell all the way to 10th and the Arizona Cardinals. WTF, the Jets, Raiders, Bills, and Lions are all set at quarterback? I understand the 49ers passing him up, as well as the Packers. But those other teams I think are making a mistake. The Cards are bad news for Leinart; the Cardinals stink and now they have a rookie quarterback on whom they can place the blame.

It is unfathomable to me that Vince Young was taken ahead of Leinart. I guess the Titans are enamored with black quarterbacks and want another one to replace McNair.

I think AJ Hawk to the Packers is a good move. It will be good to see two great white players on the same team, on opposite sides of the ball.

I live in Dallas country, and although I'm not a great fan, I'm glad they chose Ohio State's Bobby Carpenter. Gives me something to 'watch' when I watch Dallas games this year.

Yes...great point. I wonder how much input Norm Chow really had in this decision. My guess is (and I know I'm a bit jaded on this topic) that it was all Fisher and McNair.

Why the Lions didn't take Greenway or Carpenter (or Leinart) I'll never know. I think we just wasted our first round pick.

Leinhart going to the Cards is the best thing for his career. He has much better weapons than he would have with the Lets, Bills, or Lions.

Well, six white players taken out of 32 in the first round, about par for the course --Hawk, Leinart, Cutler, Greenway, Carpenter and Mangold.

It just hit me that the reason the Titan's owner wanted Young is because he thinks Young will be "exciting" like Vick thereby putting butts in the buckets and filling his wallet.

The Mike Haas watch is on. Some WR named Santonio Holmes was picked as well as Chad Jackson (2nd Rd). Haas is bigger and faster than Holmes and more polished than Jackson. God, this sucks.

What's with this whole "tremendous upside" phenomenon? I mean I thought that guys were drafted based on what they did in college. It seems to me that this TU phrase is used to draft players like Young who are not really ready to play their stated position at the next level.

Meanwhile, Haas and Leinart are merely "polished."Edited by: Poacher

Yah last year there were also only six white guys out of 32 drafted in the first round. Well, it really cant get much worst then that

Tennessee is apparently basing all their picks on who has the best hype, having now drafted both Young AND LenDale White.

Young has a number of downsides and LenDale White has been said to have the workout ethic of Maurice Clarett.

Good luck to the Titans, my opinion is they are going to need it.

Too bad Volek wasn't traded after all. Edited by: White Shogun

Now the draft is picking up a lil for us heh... but Green Bay and Minnesota have 2 out 3 of whites drafted so far, and I'm waiting for Dallas' pick to see if they'll add to their whites..

The titans look like they are on the way to being the "Bungles" of the 2000 era, with their first two picks...

It appears that some of the teams that were given "F" rankings last year by CF are adding a few whites, for instance the Vikings, Packers, Jetsand Cowboys, while teams like the Titans and Rams that were the least anti-white are headed toward coal black status. No one wants to have an all-black team, but no one wants to have more than a few token white starters either. A very pathetic state of affairs which gets a little bit worse every year.

When African Americans became a minority in MLB people it became a grave concern, but does it happen when whites are pushed out of the NFL or the NBA?

According to Lapchick, African Americans represent less than 9 percent of major-league baseball players, their lowest percentage in 30 years. They represented 30 percent during the 1970s.

Anybody interested in maintaining diversity in sports has to be concerned about that trend,'' said Richard Lapchick, the director of the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida.

How anyone can deny the caste system is beyond me at this point.

Vikings were doing well until they got freakin Tavaris Jackson at QB. Over Whitehurst, Gradkowski and Croyle...give me a break.

The powers that be in the N egro F ootball L eague have turned the sport into one big Gangsta Thug Rap video. This years draft is proof. Good God why hasn't Green Bay drafted Mike Hass? Oh and Kellen Clemons is yet another (F)duck from Oregon that will suck in the NFL. Yea the Jets will have another shiity season.

Even Stovall has been drafted.Hagan was drafted.Neither of these guys can hold a candle to Hass.I really hope that he goes into some training camp with a chip on his shoulder.Just like his whole life,Hass will have to prove himself again. He is just not the right color to fit the prototype wide receiver because of the idiots who run the league.Hang in there Mike.
