They are saying now that Young is going to the Saints, which makes perfect Caste System logic for a team that replaced a black QB with a white one at the end of the season. I don't know if Young would be an improvement over Brooks or not. We'll see.

Carr is a good and very tough quarterback... they need o-line and good TE before they need to worry about another rookie QB who will get his head handed to him as opposing team sacks him 6-10 times... they also need defensive help, big time... so trade down, fill some holes and Texans might be looking at 8-8 type of a season

Hopefully, the Saints do draft Young, because I doubt Tennessee will pass up Leinart. Although it would mean Volek would not be the future starting QB, the Titans would still pick Young who I'm sure would end up neglecting Bennett and preventing him from being a top WR in this league!

How do you guys think they will look at Nick Hartigan? The kid did everything you could ever ask for in his college career! He led the nation is rushing for Div IAA and is as good as any running back I have seen all year. The problem is that they will want him to be a fullback if he gets drafted. How can he demand a chance to stay at running back? This kid is special!

he can't... he played Ivy League, and NFL's take on him will be: "you're lucky we took a chance on you"... he won't even get drafted probably, he will sign for some team as a rookie FA at best...

i hope i am wrong about that

The name Nick Hartigan brings tears to my eyes when I think of how great a NFL future he could have.......but we all know he will not be drafted as a RB, but signed as a "Rookie free agent" destined to become a blocking ,and at best a one catch per season FB.

After the game all over the radio and tv it was idiots saying how Vince Young would be better than Vick and would be a great talent...all that crap all of you have heard. He is the most hyped prospect since Vick. People say he is a bigger strong Vick but one thing Vick has is speed and elusiveness. I dont see elusiveness with Vince Young, I see alot of missed tackles. He works out of the shotgun most of the time in the Texas offense and does not have the arm or throwing motion to be a drop back qb. I hate how people say he is a better thrower than Vick. In games I have watched him have the recievers he would throw to were usualy running underneath routes or were wide open. His arm sucks, he throws with no velocity and cant thread the needle when he needs too. If he were ever to face a LB like Urlacher who knows how to tackle he would get owned 9 out of 10 times. I remember a few years ago when Urlacher owned Vick who is much more elusive, Urlacher also had great sucess against Culpepper. The media still loves black qbs though even though none have had a great deal of sucess. If you guys visit other sports sites discussing college football and ncaa football just about everyone worships black qbs. In reality they are all a bunch of white geeks who buy into the caste system and probably play to much NCAA Football or Madden and think "wow these negroes are awfully fast so they must be the best players in football."

I remember Mi.. Vi.. saying that he saw himself winning at least two
superbowls in a couple of years (from the time he singed the 130
million contract) what a laugh. Oh and he also said he would not
cut his hair until he wins a Superbowl. He better get a wheel
barrow to carry those locks in.

Hopefully someday they will realize that in Madden they can get Mike Mcmahon (or maybe even Jake Plummer) if all they want to do is scramble.

It's still early, but here's Mel Kiper's latest first round projection for April's draft. There's just six whites, par for the course in recent years. He has QB Jay Cutler of Vanderbilt going 9th to Detroit. Also, Fasano the tight end from Notre Dame is listed as the 27th pick. Two white QBs,three white LBs, not a single white o-lineman. (Asterisk denotes an underclassman):

1. Houston -- *Reggie Bush, RB, USC
2. New Orleans -- Matt Leinart, QB, USC
3. Tennessee -- *Vince Young, QB, Texas
4. New York Jets -- D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
5. Green Bay -- *Mario Williams, DE, NC State
6. Oakland -- A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio State
7. San Francisco -- DeMeco Ryans, LB, Alabama
8. Buffalo -- *Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon
9. Detroit -- Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
10. Arizona -- DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis
11. St. Louis -- *Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
12. Cleveland -- Chad Greenway, LB, Iowa
13. Baltimore -- Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State
14. Philadelphia -- *Santonio Holmes, WR, Ohio State
15. Atlanta -- Michael Huff, DB, Texas
16. Miami -- *Winston Justice, OT, USC
17. Minnesota -- *LenDale White, RB, USC
18. Dallas -- Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech
19. San Diego -- *Ko Simpson, DB, South Carolina
20. Kansas City -- *Ashton Youboty, CB, Ohio State
21. New England -- Bobby Carpenter, LB, Ohio State
22. Denver (from Wash.) -- Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
23. Tampa Bay -- Derek Hagan, WR, Arizona State
24. Cincinnati -- Claude Wroten, DT, LSU
25. New York Giants -- *Ernie Sims, LB, Florida State
26. Chicago -- *Leonard Pope, TE, Georgia
27. Carolina -- *Anthony Fasano, TE, Notre Dame
28. Pittsburgh -- *Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida State
29. Jacksonville -- Thomas Howard, LB, UTEP
30. Indianapolis -- *Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
31. Denver -- *Darnell Bing, DB, USC
32. Seattle -- *Chad Jackson, WR, Florida

i don't see Tampa picking Hagan... now if only Greenway would slip all the way to 23rd... Carpenter is a great player but not a good fit in TB defense... i could definitely see Bucs drafting OT Winston from Miami as well... i don't know about Fasano in first round although i like this pick

btw how many white underclassmen declared for the draft? does anyone have a list?

PS on a sidenote it seems like all the centers this year are whiteEdited by: backrow

Some are beginning to speculate that Jay Cutler is the best QB in the draft... It also apears that Brodie Crolye is becomming more desirable. Robinsons stock, meanwhile, has dropped.

so for our top QB's we have

Leinart or Young

Cutler # 3

and Croyle #4 (see draft daddy.com)

does anyone have any speculation on who comes next...

I'm completely pissed off. Both Nick Hartigan and Troy Bergeron have not been invited to the NFL Draft Combine. How can this be?Hartigan is one of the best running backs to ever play in college history period. He rewrote the record books.Troy Bergeron is a guy who could run a 4.3 in the 40 and I think that scares the hell out of them.I am so angry right now.At least Bloom is going to be there along with Hass,Hinkel & Anderson.Jeremy Bloom has run a 4.25 in 40 while at Colorado.Let's hope he runs the quickest time at the whole combine.I also hope Hartigan & Bergeron still get a chance!

White Lightning, come on. If they're "scared" of Bergeron running a 4.3, why did they invite Bloom, who according to you has run a 4.25? They just don't think he's worthy. Same with Hartigan.

If you go to Draftdaddy.com and click on the news section,it quotes how Bloom has run a 4.25 in the 40.This is an actual time.He has also run a 9.4 seconds in the 100 yard dash.Jeremy blew away A.Green who is a very fast guy as well as the rest of the competition. As for Bergeron not being worthy, that's a joke. Both of these guys should be there.I think that Bloom got a shot because it's a good story that will bring more interest to the NFL with a former US Olympian trying out for the league.

Of course. But this isn't about what we think. It's about what... they think.

Even though the NCAA didn't let Bloom play football. Face it, they just don't know Bergeron, don't respect him, and don't think he's worthy of being invited to the Combine.

The Caste System is not about reality. It's about perception.

it seems that numerous other Caste fan favorites are being overlooked as well. the Big East's best corner, Syracuse's Steve Gregory, the SEC's best corner, Vanderbilt's Andrew Pace, and arguably the MWC's best corner, BYU's swift Nate Soelberg have all been neglected by the NFL combine.

any guess on what these guys will be doing for a living this time next year?

And you always hear the line from football fans that think we don't know what we're talking about: "Don't you think that if there were any capable white running backs and cornerbacks, the white owners, coaches and scouts of the NFL would be bending over backwards to give them a chance?"
