Detroit Lions General Thread

I just hope TeSlaa is used as a regular, very talented receiver when it comes to running routes. Being pigeon-holed as someone who makes spectacular catches, particularly in the endzone, is a good way to be underused not to mention an injury risk. He should be used all over the field ala Jameson Williams, another fast receiver. Throw to him over the middle and let him run after the catch, let him line up in the slot as well as outside, he has the talent to be a great all-around receiver, not just a one-trick monkey who will go up and get the ball.

More bs directed TeSlaa's way. The journeyman Dortch barely reaches Isaac's belly button.

Lionis WR Isaac TeSlaa caught 0-of-3 targets in Thursday’s preseason game against the Bengals.

The Lions’ established starters did not play. Lions WR Greg Dortch could be challenging TeSlaa’s WR3 role, although Dortch went 0-for-1 as a receiver as well. TeSlaa out-snapped him 15-7 on the first three drives. TeSlaa took two more snaps on the fourth drive, sans Dortch, which ended in a turnover. This is a position battle to keep an eye on.
