Hopefully the Blackos stumble out of the gate. Faggio went with the perceived safe option which will cost him his job Bridgewater failed miserable last year when gifted the job in Carolina. A positive is that the Broncos don't have much to root for anyways. From what I have seen and read Lock seemed like the better performer during training camp.

They would be better served bringing Peyton Manning out of retirement. I am “confused” but not “surprised” by this decision. The language in the sports reporting is what always really gets me, I guess because I still have an attention span past the previous sentence.

I will read that despite inconsistencies, Trey Lance “exudes exponentially more potential” with “athleticism” than Garoppalo. Drew Lock, on the other hand, does not “exude potential” but rather hurts the team despite his inconsistent flashes of brilliance, so Bridgewater gives the Broncos the best chance to win! Is this three card Monty or just “heads I win, tails you lose” rationale? We are expected to read these synopses one after another and nod with the expert sports journalists before beating off to a football season of nacho chips and auto leasing.

Bad news:

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Broncos LB Josey Jewell (pec) is out for the season.
Monday testing on Jewell's Week 2 injury confirmed he tore his pectoral and will miss the remainder of the season. Jewell had seven tackles and a forced fumble through the season's first couple games. It's a setback for a Denver defense that has been one of the league's best in the young 2021 season.

Extremely foolish trade by Denver for Russell Wilson. The Broncos gave up far too much. They obviously saw what the Rams accomplished this year and think they can replicate it. Unfortunately for them, first of all Wilson is not as good as Stafford, and second, they have no receiver who even comes close to Cooper Kupp.

Singleton resurfaces in Denver after the Eagles declined his tender as a restricted free agent. A run stopper, Singleton had 137 tackles in a sub-package role with Philly and projects to play opposite Josey Jewell on early downs. Singleton will also help the Broncos on special teams after playing over 50% of snaps there last season.

I'd be willing to bet that this same hive mind writer campaigned against Josey Jewell from the day the Broncos drafted him, part of the media-driven herd who could never overlook his pedestrian 40 time and take a fair look at just how good of a linebacker he actually was for the Broncos. It took (surprisingly so) PFF to finally give Jewell excellent grades, followed by Jewell recently being re-signed to starter's money (though on the low end) for the narrative to finally change. So now this DWF mindlessly parrots the new narrative, writing above, "Josey Jewell is solid." Oceania has always been at war against East Asia.

In Three seasons has played just a total of 16 games ....2 TD's (one vs. Cowboys on Thanksgiving his Rookie season!)

First he "broke an ankle" jumping up and landing a few years ago and went on IR
Then the next season dirty helmet to helmet on a Punt Return sustaining a "Concussion" prompting an Ejection..
And was waived by the Raiders on an injury settlement last pre-season with a "Hamstring" injury.

In college at LSU/SMU one NFL Scout compared Quinn to Brandon Stokely. Too bad he didn't have Peyton Manning throwing to him!

It's great he is getting a 3rd chance to make and stick on an nfl team. Pretty rare for a white receiver who hasn't proven he belongs at this level yet. I do
believe he has the talent and hope he can stay healthy long enough to make a big impact. Happy to hear about this. Thanks for posting it.
