David Lee may have lower numbers, however the whole Golden State system runs through him, unlike with the Knicks. They went something like 1-8 when he was injured.

Those 2 years under D'antoni have served him well. As far as All-Star chances go, don't expect it, not when young guys like Blake Griffin and Kevin Love are on the horizon.
Monta Ellis, and Stephen Curry, it's a guard oriented team. I already knew that.whiteathlete33 said:J41181, why do you think Lee will never have numbers like he did last season?j41181 said:He won't have the same numbers like last season (likely never), but he'll be a solid 15-16 points, 9-10 rebounds, 3-4 assists player for much of his career. He now has 11 games with 20+pts and 10+rbds. This is the most in the NBA.
This season David Lee is doing what the lying New York Caste Media claimed he could never do. Be a focal player on a winning, playoff caliber team. Well after beating the division leading Clippers last night, Lee's Warriors are only 2.5 games back. The Warriors are hot and Lee is the main reason. Since December, the Warriors have gone 13-4 and in that same span David has scored over 20 points in all but 2 of them. To give the full picture, he's averaged 22.7 points and 11.4 rebounds! That sure disproves the theory that Lee was only a good player on Mike D'Antoni's losing teams.
To further rub salt in the Caste Media's wound, look at the guy the Knicks dumped and didn't pay Lee for, Amar'e Stoudemire (sp). He's been a bum. First, the Knicks paid him more than Lee would have signed for. Second, Lee is more talented. Third, Lee is younger. Fourth, Stoudemire is injury prone. Is there anyone, Caste Media jocksniffer or DWF, that would still rather have Stoudemire than Lee? Will any of them admit they were wrong?
D'Antoni stated that Stoudemire is more athletic than Lee after that trade. Lee was a dunk champion and is a great athlete. Stoudemire is done.
David Lee with a triple double last night: 23 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 11 assists.
