i am counting the last 2 games as triple doubles, which gives him 2 and ties him with james, as well as he is one of five to get that rare stat
Well, the only reason that David Lee gets a pass from Spike is that they share the same last name........jcolec02 said:I like the fact that spike lee's favorite team that he goes to see courtside now has 2 white stars

I voted for him everyday at NBA.com for the all-star game and his position was listed as forward. Hands down,no question that Kaman deserves a roster spot on the all-star team.

I admit I never sit through an entire NBA game, let alone a Knick game (being on the west coast), but everytime I watch I notice that it seems the Knicks almost never run a ply through Lee. It seems like he has to get all his points off the mishaps of others. Just think if they would actually channel some of their play calling through him. He would be an All-Star starter. But they probably can't do that because somebody else on the team would complain they're not getting their "looks".
Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the last white to play for the Eastern All-Stars. That was in 2005. I have this positive feeling Lee will make it. I mean 31 points and 17 rebounds, near back-to-back triple doubles? Are you kidding me? No coach in his right mind would not pick this Knicks upstart. He's playing for a huge market team, and when he becomes a free agent, a team like Dallas had better pick him.TwentyTwo said:David Lee had better make the All-Star Game this year...if he doesn't...I'll be pulling for the West as usual...when was the last time a white player played for the East All-Stars?? Hard to remember....good to see the Knicks actually got on TV...
