They don't throw a lot to David Kircus, even if he is so fast and have good hands and body control. If he had the chance, he will beat up the number one receiver. Man, Kircus is really a elite receiver. I saw him in college and WOW, what a heck of player!

In preseason,the Broncos raved about the guy.He caught that deep bomb and just outran everyone.We all know that he has very good speed and excellent hands.The Broncos just won't give him a fair shot.They did the same thing to Kevin Kasper.McCaffrey was the last white receiver to get consistant playing time up there.Let's hope that if they cut him,another team like the Lions,Rams or Colts will pick him up.He has pro bowl potential.It just makes me so mad how he is just another incredible player being screwed over because he is the wrong color of skin.

Hey Chitwood, is Kircus really lacking strength? He's a reciever, and a lot of times recievers don't even participate in the bench press test at the combines. Are they talking about upper or lower body strength that he lacks?

upper body. i recall an article that was praising his accomplishments when he was coming out of Grand Valley State where it was talking about his speed, leaping ability, and all that.

in it, Kircus talked about his biggest weakness being a lack of upper body strength. he was naturally very slender and during his time in college hadn't exactly "lived in the weight room." at the time, he felt that was his biggest physical hurdle in the way of his NFL future...

i'm guessing he feels differently now.

you can tell that he's put some time on the weights now, though, because while still not showcasing thick arms, they are noticeably more muscular than during his collegiate career.

Mike Chambers, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos WR David Kircus surrendered to authorities the morning of Monday, May 21, and was charged with second-degree assault following a fistfight Sunday, May 20. Kircus posted a $6,000 bond and is due in Arapahoe County District Court Tuesday, May 22. If convicted, Kircus could be sentenced to two to six years in prison.

Mike Shanahan has said publicly that if Kircus is found guilty, he will be cut. I don't ever recall Shanahan or any of the other white-hating coaches in the NFL saying that any of the myriad of black players accused of violent acts would be cut if found guilty. This is no defense of Kircus, if he did indeed assault someone, but once again the double standard is glaringly obvious.

He's not joking. Great Lake State is more loyal to the State of Michigan and the Detroit area than he is to his race. Since Kircus didn't work out during his stint with the Lions, GLS wishes him noting but bad luck. He actively hates Darko Milicic too! Michigan is the most generic, boring, ugly, no personality state in the country, Why anybody would be loyal to it or especially the crime ridden cesspool of Detroit is beyond me. No offence to anybody from Michigan, I am a transplant from Texas living in Ohio and have similar feelings about this state. Except for Amish country, all I have seen of OhIo is one big series of small time cities trying to be big cities and the rest is just concrete jungle with Walmarts and Dairy Queens splattered everywhere.Edited by: guest301

I just read that they've slapped a restraining order on Kircus. That is certainly unusually swift action on the part of law enforcement, where an athlete/celebrity is involved. Usually they drag their feet for a long time, until the injustice system either dismisses the case, finds the athlete/celebrity not guilty or cranks out the celebrity special; community service and/or a suspended sentence. They've done nothing to Pacman Jones yet, despite the owner of the club identifying him as the perpetrator of several violent acts. They've also done nothing yet about Mike/Michael Vick, despite what seems to be a plethora of evidence that he is behind the dog-fighting nonsense. Once again, the double standard is clear.

Anyway someone compared him to Tank Johnson and PacMan Jones in the responses. This is unfair. Pacman jones has more arrests than interceptions, and Tank Johnson was picke d up on weapons charges then still allowed to play in the superbowl. All Kircus did was punch someone in the face. One time. He broke the guys nose or something/ the details are sketchy. 'Broken face' is what the media says. Second degree assault at a party is hardly a crime that should cost someone their football career. Someone look up the history of the NFL greats. They punched more than a few people in the face. At least they didnt own dog fighting rings.

And as for the wigger accusation, I suspect Kircus myself but I'm not just gonna brand him one, and it doesnt take away from the fact that hes being unjustly treated or the fact that he is a white athlete.

Yes he does. GreatLakeState can tell you all about it. He regularly ranted on about it because, and this is how his mind works: since so many of us believe that blacks are criminally inclined, and violent, etc. then Kircus must be a potential murderer because his brother was. So if blacks are inclined to bad behavior due to genetics then so should Kircus. I've got to spend two weeks in Houston pretty soon. I was born there but I hate it. Too many blacks and browns and too much traffic. I've only been to Ohio once. I just kept driving. The people all looked like products of inbreeding. Ah, not really, just kiddin'.
