Valuev's chine will prevent him from being KO'd but I think Haye can beat him on points. While I do not think much of Haye's character he is a slick boxer and he has fast hands and more importantly against Valuev fast feet. If he he moves in and out of range and land punches. He barely won agaisnt Holyfield who is a older slower version of Haye. He also has two fights with John Ruiz that at least one judge in each fight viewed him as not winning. Valuev lost a majority decision against Chageav who is two inches shorter and has one inch less reach than Haye. If Haye comes in in top shape so that he can move for all twelve rounds he is capable of defeating Valuev

Wladimir Klitschko: "Â￾Already during the negotiations for my June fight, we realized quickly that Haye and Booth are very unprofessional. Booth might be a good trainer but as a manager he is simply incompetent. David always had a big mouth and tried to offend us with ridiculous self-made t shirts. But when it comes up to step into the ring and show what he's got, he runs away. He even admits that fighting Valuev is the easier way. For me Haye is a little, inexperienced kid who is afraid of his own courage. Doubtless, my brother would have knocked him out within the first four rounds."Â￾

Haye claims he was only offered 400,000 dollars for the fight and this was not enough. He was also upset with the rematch clauses. Excuses, excuses yet no action.

While you are correct in saying Haye has fast hands, I would firmly say he does not have fast feet. My view is that he lopes. In many fights his lateral movement is not there and he was cornered or pinned. As to be a slick boxer, again I disagree. Holyfield is slicker at 44 than Haye is now. He is easy to hit. He has won most of his fights by punching and being bigger than his opponents. I have seen all of his available fights and as an honest scouting report I would say he has never won a fight by simply being slick and boxing to win on points. He does not fight like that.

I would never root for Haye to defeat Valuev. Haye may beat Valuev if he comes out as sloppy as he was in the Holyfield fight though.

Valuev has pissed me off with refusing to fight the K brothers and his awful performance against Holyfield. He's also managed by dickhead Don King. I'd be fine with Haye winning the WBA belt as long as his next move was to fight a K brother and lose it by KO.

Valuev/Haye. I love it. Two guys who don't want to fight a Klitchko matched to see who fights a Klitchko. Don't look now, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone, maybe even Valuev, finds a reason to back out of the fight.

The Klitchkos are just that imposing at this point.

If the fight does happen I believe Valuev has enough power to stop Haye.Edited by: The Hock

As much as Valuev pissed me off as well Haye pissed me off even more. I see your point but I would rather just have him lose to Valuev. He doesn't have a chance with the Klitschko's.

As bad as Valuev looked in the Holyfield fight and his loss to Chagaev. Haye can't take a heavyweight punch. I can see a scenario where Haye is out boxing Valuev early and his legs get heavy late and Valuev starts landing his heavy jab and hulk smash right hand and ko's Haye.

Haye is a moron and will likely try to slug it out with Valuev. That will be a big mistake as Valuev hits much harder than Carl Thompson or even Monte Barrett who knocked Haye down once.

If Valuev wins, what can we expect from Haye? Will he ever fight Wlad, or will he just drop off the radar?

If Valuev wins Haye will not fight either Klitschko. If he loses to Valuev he has a better chance of winning the lottery than beating a Klitschko. He will probably continue to fight a bunch of has-been fighters and run his mouth. He will do anything to fill his pockets and bring up his ego.

Since Valuev doesn't want to fight the K brothers and Haye does I rather Haye win than Valuev and especially if the WBA belt is at stake. There are very few credible boxers left at HW that the K brothers haven't already defeated.

Vitali isn't fighting Arreola or Haye. Who's left to fight him?

Amren if Haye does win he will still not fight either Klitschko. He will hold on to belt and fight his mandatories who will all be bums.

I did not say he would beat Valuev. I said he could if he fought a smart fight. I either am not as big of a boxing fan or not as big of a Haye fan as you are. I have not seen all 23 of Hayes fights. . I was fortunate enough to see him fight Jean Marc MorMec and yes he got caught in the fourth and knocked down. He got caught by a much quicker man than Valuev. Haye is not slow footed . He is a bit lazy. He does not move a lot unless he has to. Every one Haye has fought was not smaller than Haye. Weight wise Mormec and Macarenelli were with a pound of his weight. Of his last three fights Mormec was 31/2 inches shorter, Maccarenelli an inch taller and Barret the same height. In the Valuev fight Haye will have to punch fast and them move out of Valuev's 85 inch reach which gives Valueve a whopping 7 inch reach advantage. But Ruslan Chagaev managed to do this and he is no faster on his feet than Haye and has a reach 4 inches shorter. Now if Hayes tries to Lope and lets the big man trap him against the ropes or in a corner he will loss the fight. he must fight Valuev in a manner to negate the Russuans size advantage. He does not ; however have to knock him out. He just has to score more points.

That's how I feel about it too. I'm not a fan of Valuev, but I can't stand David Haye and I'd love to see him KOed.

Haye had a white English mother and a black Jamaican father, and did you know Valuev had a Russian father and a Turkic mother? So both Haye and Valuev are 1/2 white.

I'd love to see Haye get knocked out. I'm just pissed off that it won't be a Klitschko doing it.

Many Turkic people are Eurasian which could make Valuev 3/4's Caucasian. I read somewhere he is part Tatar. He partially looks East Asian to me. Edited by: white is right

Yes, that's probably about right.

As we get closer to this fight, I have more of a positive feeling about Valuev's chances. Haye's insults have angered

and hopefully motivated the big man to get in his best possible shape and be 100% focused. Nicolay is now saying he will KO Haye.

Regarding his insults did anyone hear what Haye said about Valuev?  He said that Valuev smells and that several fighters who fought Valuev told him that.  He also said he has a disgusting hairy body.  I really hope Haye doesn't win but I think he will.  He is going to come in and land a few quick shots and back off.  I believe that will be his strategy the whole fight.

Yes he did push Klistschko too far.  Not only did he back out of a fight with Wladimir but with Vitali as well.  That shows he is a coward and knew he would lose to either Klitschko.  He can beat Valuev though.  I actually think he will.  Old man Holyfield gave Valuev a run for his money and probably should have won the fight.  Haye is better than Holyfield so he will probably be able to beat Valuev.  Valuev has been in many close fights with Ruiz, Chagaev, and even Larry Donald.
