It has him at fullback... the person who made it must have looked at Danny's picture and immediately assumed that's where he plays...

Needless to say, Danny was the leading rusher for the Pats in today's game, 11 rushes for 63 yards. By comparison, Green-Ellis had 10 rushes for a whopping 20 yards. Woodhead also had 5 receptions for another 52 yards, Green-Ellis, well, I guess he doesn't catch footballs. Of course, the stooges on the postgame show had Green-Ellis as a "top performer", because he got one of the TD's

Yeah thats what they usually do, don't list the white guy, lets see if they list Tebow as the Broncos leading rusher because he is the only one with a td, 6 rushes for 23 yards 1 td.

Watched the scumbag NFL Channel CMC's (caste media clowns) today for the NFL "highlights." I noticed that Woody had another productive day. I think he had the most yards (passing+rushing) for the Pats, yet the NFL Channel CMC's did not bother to mention his name or show any related highlights or plays in a typical CMC whiteout. Over at the Yahoo website, idiot receiver, Deion Branch was listed as the "top performer" for the Pats even though Woody had more yards. Another day in the NFL.

Woodhead had a great game, but don't forget that on Monday night football the other night the announcers were gushing over him, so it's not like they have always ignored him. I do think he deserves more recognition but the media probably thinks that since he got so much attention earlier that they can't get him more credit, especially since the Branch trade has grabbed headlines for the Pats.

In all honesty, the mainstream sports media and hordes of inebriated, android-like white fan-boys all seem to have accepted the fact that Danny Woodhead is quickly becoming the star running back for the one of the best teams in the NFL.

Naturally, they always seem to preface such a notion with continuously mentioning his diminutive stature ("pretty good for his size"Â￾) or the fact that he was unwanted by the NFL and recently cut by the Jets ("pretty good for a undrafted free agent"Â￾). Still, no one would dare to deny his speed, agility, quickness, or athleticism with the customary racist tongue specifically reserved for the belittlement of white athletes. Woodhead has been too beneficial to the Patriots (especially under the circumstances) for standard white-loathing media-maliciousness not to appear explicitly inaccurate, race-based resentment. Eventually, they'll find a way to discredit him.

The ultra-tough, super-versatile Woodhead recorded 115 yards on 16 total touches (over 7 yards per touch). Woodhead's style seems more similar to Marshall Faulk than Kevin Faulk. Green-Ellis didn't have a great day against the Ravens, but his blue-collar, north-south style is a good compliment to Woodhead's break-neck speed, slashing agility, and skillful receiving ability. I'm not sure if Woodhead would be more successful as a "full time starter"Â￾ that plays every single down, or in his current role.

After his 2009 pre-season performances with the Jets, we all knew he was talented enough for NFL action. He's exceeded all expectations.

You guys were sure right about him. I've only seen two of his games, but I'm VERY impressed.

Imagine the DWFs and anylistswrapping their minds around this one: the BLACK rb is the slow, steady back, and the WHITE rb is the quick, exciting, playmaking back. Whoa! Brain overload!

Patriots find answer in Danny Woodhead
Little man, big factor

FOXBORO - Ever since Kevin Faulk [stats] went out with a knee injury, the Patriots [team stats] have been searching far and wide for a dependable third-down back.

They seemed to have found their answer in Danny Woodhead.

Unemployed a month ago, the 5-foot-9 running back is proving the doubters wrong on a daily basis. Yesterday was another case of Woodhead stepping up when called upon as he rushed for a team-high 63 yards and caught five passes for 52 yards in a 23-20 overtime victory over the Ravens.

Sounds like a Kevin Faulk-type of day.

"It was a big game for us,"Â￾ said Woodhead. "To be able to come out of it with a win against (a team) like that is more satisfying."Â￾

This was actually Woodhead's second time facing the Ravens this season. As a member of the Jets, he faced them in the season opener on Sept. 13, recording a special teams tackle in a 10-9 loss. A day later, he was waived. He then signed with the Pats on Sept. 18.

He became an instant folk hero in his first appearance against the Bills in Week 3, rushing for 42 yards and a touchdown in a 38-30 win. A week later, Woodhead rushed for 36 yards and caught an 11-yard TD pass in a 41-14 win over the Dolphins.

"I've approached the games like I've always done,"Â￾ said Woodhead. "I'm just trying to learn every assignment that I need to know."Â￾

Yesterday, he shone brightest early in the fourth quarter when back-to-back runs of 14 and 12 yards helped set up Tom Brady [stats]'s 5-yard TD pass to Deion Branch with 11:08 remaining in regulation.

I'm so happy for Danny. He could have been shunned by the league like other talented small white runningbacks(Brian Shay). Instead he's getting significant carries and showcasing his incredible athleticism.

I feel that as Danny gets comfortable with the entire Pats playbook he will get more chances to be explosive! It is quite clear even to the drunkest of DWFs and the CMCs. They can't deny his obvious talent and ability. I will forever wish that pig ryans Jets lose the rest of their games, for their miss treatment of a great talent.

Some quotes I read on NFL.com while checking the stats for the Patriot game on Sunday were very negative. The DWF's claim Woodhead isn't talented and is a failure. The double standard continues to exist.

Good morning whiteathelte33,

Don't worry about that stuff. That's why they're known as DWF's. I assure you Belichick and his staff don't think Danny is a bad player.

WA 33 those DWFs are losers, Impotent and self loathers. They are the losers who make 50K and buy several NFL season games. During the week the eat crap. Like generic hot dogs and top
ramen 24/7. They brake up
the tired and unhealthy menu with Capain Crunch throught the day. Losers!

It's kinda hard from a CF perspective to hate the Patriots with Brady, Woodhead, Welker and Edelman. I would love to see the Patriots make another Super Bowl run especially because they would be doing it without Moss.

hmm, how can they possibly call him a failure? the only time he didn't get over 7, 8 yards, was when they run him up the middle on a very predictible running plays. what were DWFs even saying? wtf?

Backrow, this is just one of the comments I collected from NFL.com

One of the comments on NFL.com from a DWF.

The Danny Woodhead experiment has failed.

here's a very complimentary article from bleacherreport.com:

Patriots Fans Are Wondering, Who Needs Randy Moss When You Have Danny Woodhead?

In a season packed with parity, the Patriots have risen above much of the league by cutting ties with some of their big name players.

New England is 4-1 following their overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens. They would be in sole possession of first place in the AFC East, if Denver's Renaldo Hill hadn't grabbed Santonio Holmes' facemask in the final minutes of the Jets/Broncos game.

The Patriots are getting back to their roots. In the last two seasons, they've traded three of their most prominent players: Randy Moss, Laurence Maroney and Richard Seymour.

They're starting to look a bit more like the team that won three Super Bowls.

Back then, the Patriots were known as a unit, and few individuals were recognized above the team. Players weren't worried as much about who was getting the most touches. They were simply devoted to winning.

That said, the Patriots still need players to step up and produce in the absence of guys like Maroney and Moss. Who are those players? Some of the obvious players that come to mind are Deion Branch, Wes Welker and Benjarvus Green-Ellis.

Another player that could prove to be a significant contributor for New England is Danny Woodhead.

Prior to playing in the NFL, Woodhead was a star for the NCAA Division II Chadron State Eagles. On Oct. 6, 2007, he broke the all-divisions career rushing record. In four seasons for the Eagles, Woodhead piled up 7,962 yards on the ground and 101 rushing touchdowns. He also had 129 receptions for 1417 yards and eight touchdowns.

At 5'8" and 175 pounds, Woodhead received no Division I offers because coaches and scouts felt he was too small.

He utterly dominated Division II competition, but received little to no attention as he made his way into the NFL. Perhaps he was once again considered too small, or maybe it was that the competition he faced wasn't strong enough, or it could have been the classic stigma that white players can't thrive at a skill position like running back.

Whatever the reason, Woodhead was undrafted, and largely unnoticed.

However, he did do enough to get the attention of one team in 2008. The New York Jets signed him as an undrafted free agent. He didn't see any regular season action in '08 but played a little bit in '09, carrying the ball 15 times for 64 yards and making eight receptions for 87 yards.

Apparently he did just enough to get the attention of the New England Patriots, who acquired him after Week 1 of this season. He has quickly emerged as a legitimate offensive weapon for the team that leads the NFL in points per game.

Can Danny Woodhead Be an Impact Player in the NFL?

Tom Brady is the kind of quarterback who spreads the ball around and gets it to whoever's open. He's already shown on a few key plays this year that he trusts Woodhead. Brady may help him to become a star in a fashion similar to how he helped Wes Welker become a star.

Woodhead's story is strikingly similar to that of Welker who was also too small, undrafted and underused prior to joining the Patriots. In Miami, Welker was primarily a return specialist, but became one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL for New England.

Brady trusted Welker right off the bat, and found him for over 100 receptions in three straight seasons from 2007 to 2009.

This is the first season that Woodhead has really been utilized, and it seems like his stock is rising within the organization. Perhaps not as quickly as Welker's stock rose, but rising still.

In yesterday's win over the Dolphins, Woodhead led the team in carries with 11 and rushing yards with 63. He also made five receptions for 52 yards.

He's played just three games for the Patriots, but he has 141 yards and a touchdown on just 22 carries. He also has six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. It looks like New England is going to start using him more, and he could be a big part of the offense from here on out.

Woodhead is a perfect fit for this team. He's worked hard to finally get his shot and will do everything he can to take advantage of it.

And oh yeah, he's up to 200 pounds now, so maybe he's not too small anymore.

It's worth voting in the poll at the original link above on whether Woodhead can be an impact player in the NFL. 93% of those who have voted so far are saying "yes"! Another indication that some of the DWFs arestarting to opentheir eyes.

We really need Woodhead to put up some nice games the rest of the year, in addition to Hillis getting 1000+ yards, because it's pretty obvious Leonard, Hester, Gerhart and a few others relegated to special teams/blocking duties aren't going to get enough carries this season for the cause.
