A truly dreadful crime and „gang rapes” seem to be some kind of popular sport in India. And I really hate to say this but what did they thought they were doing there? India isn’t Disneyland or some kind third world human zoo where you watch the natives and their exciting battle for survival from a safe distance. I guess these people were the exact definition of what you call “Gutmenschen”
Horrible crime and the cowards and low lives who did this deserve the full extent of punishment under the law. In India, I believe the corresponding penalty for rape is
the dealth penalty. So, whoever did this, if caught will most likely be put to death.
Largely, I agree with your point with regard to the white couple. In some ways I feel the Swiss couple could have used some intelligence, common sense, and safety precuation to avoid the crime. As a white male, I would never travel to some third world country and go "camping" in the rural areas with a girlfriend or wife. That's very dangerous and and almost inviting being robbed, raped, murdered etc. My guess is it was probably a "Liberal" Swiss couple that went here and seemed to think they could just travel wherever without any sort of safety precautions. It seems they took no precautions whatsoever to avoid something like this. Clearly, this Swiss couple did not understand that India is a third-world country where you can be kidnapped, murdered, raped, robbed and such.
I personally have an older brother who lived in India (Varanasi and New Delhi) for almost one year. India is a third world country, people need to understand that. There are not a lot of police officers or people enforcing law and order. My brother went alone, and told me he felt safe in India, but you have to remember he was living in a big city. In the rural areas, there is almost no law and order.
During my brother's time living in India he visited many restaurants, bars, and nightclubs
and he told me they were packed with hundreds of men only. No women, because women aren't allowed to attend them. Men don't have sex with women normally unless they are married. This causes a lot of sexual frustration in men in India, and thats why many Indian men are homosexual, use female or male prostitutes, or they gang-rape women. There was also another gang-rape that happened last month, where Indian guys raped and then murdered an Indian girl. Gang-rapes are a national problem in India and its because of the sexual frustration of Indian men.
Indian Police have named a suspect
"Ram Singh" in one of the recent gang rapes and by that name I can tell you positively that he is a Sikh (a religion that exists in Northern India). Generally, its Hindus in India that commit gang rapes, so it is strange to see them naming a Sikh as the criminal. Sikhs were historic allies to Britain and during British colonization of India. Siks are from the North of India and are the lighter skinned Indians, while Hindus in the Center and South are dark skinned.
