I'll keep the good news going: GW transfer Paul Jorgensen is going to Butler!!

http://www.indystar.com/story/sport...ork-point-guard-transferring-butler/84251012/

Also, former Michigan PG Spike Albrecht is going to Purdue!!

Now, moves that I think are dumb by our guys: Will McDowell-White and his brother going to Fresno State, Dylan Osetkowski to Texas, Milwaukee F Austin Arians to Wake Forest, Former Ohio State F Mickey Mitchell to UC Santa Barbara, and former Columbia G Grant Mullins to Cal.

Badgers land 2017 top 100 prospect Nathan Reuvers !

http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/201...ketball-recruiting-nate-reuvers-espn-rankings

They've also offered this STUD. 2 Minnesota kids.

http://www.buckys5thquarter.com/201...recruiting-badgers-offer-2017-pg-brad-davison

Wisconsin has made a killing recruiting that state because Minnesota's racist fat ass former HC, Tubby Smith has been ignoring in state talent for a long time. Now they have a Pitino in there... Happy Ellenson got outta there and has another year at Marquette.

Here's a 3-star Minnesota kid that is being decently recruited with scholarship offers by the likes of Georgia Tech, Davidson, Harvard, Yale, Michigan, Stanford, Northwestern, North Carolina State, Wisconsin and others. Conspicuously, his own home state of Minnesota doesn't see him as being worthy of a scholarship. I guess he doesn't fit the athletic profile of a typical Pitino basketball recruit. In other words, a thug.

Jordan McCabe, who's been posted about on here before, and has also been called "white chocolate" by fans. He's an extremely skilled point guard who has some awesome moves. I see he's committed to Bob Huggins and West Virginia: http://www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1696787-mccabe-is-headed-to-the-big-xii

Normally, I'd be weary of him heading to a Bob Huggins coached team. However, Huggins' 2016 class has 2 out of 3 white players! I wonder if Huggins' might be changing his recruiting a bit? I think McCabe will do great in Huggins' usually high-powered offense.

As you guys know, I'm a pretty big college hoops fan. So it comes as no surprise I'm already getting ready for the season to start, especially with college football and the NFL (sans the Packers and Patriots) in the bad situations they're in. While college basketball has also felt the blackening effects of the caste system, there are still plenty of good white players out there, some of whom have been offered by High Major schools. I figured I'd post a few recruiting updates:

Connor McCaffrey

Iowa's got a great 2017 class going so far, with 6-6 combo guard Connor McCaffrey (the coaches' son) committed. As you can see from his video, he's got a wide array of offensive talent. from great vision, to accurate passing, to hitting the three and driving the lane. I'm looking forward to watching him with the Hawkeyes next year!

Luka%20Garza.jpg

Luka Garza

The Hawkeyes recently got a pledge from 6'11 240 lb center Luka Garza as well! Garza seems to be a below the rim big who's a beast in the paint. He does a lot of the dirty work; but he'll be a force down low for Iowa. He can also step out and hit the three ball as well.

Here are his highlights:

Jack Nunge

After Garza, the Hawkeyes quickly got a 3rd commit, with 6'10 power forward Jack Nunge's pledging just a couple of days after Garza. Nunge is a lot lankier than Garza, and is still growing into his body. He's got an outside shot as well, and is a bit more athletic than Garza is, allowing him to block some shots, as well as better create for himself.

Here are his highlights:

There are a couple of other guys whom I'd like to draw attention to as well. The first is 6'4 shooting guard Andrew Platek. Platek is an outstanding three point shooter. He's also able to drive the lane and create opportunities for his teammates. You know he's got to be good; he's currently committed to North Carolina!! This has to be Roy's first white guard he's offered a scholarship to since Bobby Frasor back in the Hansborough years!! I guess an exception can be made for Stilman White, who played a bit for Williams back a couple of years ago. Unbelievably, this will give UNC two white scholarship players, assuming Luke Maye doesn't transfer.

The next guy is Oklahoma commit Brady Manek. Manek is a 6'8 200 lb power forward who has some HOPS! This guy is an athlete! He's also got some nice range on him to, in addition to being able to blow by the competition. He's also a 2017 recruit, so he'll be joining the Sooners next year. I love seeing guys like these two getting on "high profile" teams, so DWFs can see that white guys can still ball! You'll want to see his highlights. Interestingly, Oklahoma's other commit for 2017 is Finnish center Hannes Polla, which gives them two white guys for next year, in addition to New Zealander Matt Freeman, who's going to be a redshirt freshman this year.

Sorry for the third post tonight, but it looks like we'll have a lot of great players on some big teams in the next couple of years. Take for instance, these two 2017 PGs that will be heading to Arizona and Utah, respectively.

636059398856275474-barcellopic.jpg

The first guy is Alex Barcello, a 6'4 Wildcat commit. White Lightning will be liking this guy for years to come; I think he's skilled enough to warrant big Day 1 minutes in Arizona. From watching a bit of his highlights, this kid is lightning quick, and a great athlete. He has some impressive vision, and a knack for scoring all over the floor. Barcello is also able to get himself open and create his own shot. He's even in the Scout Top 100, and white guys never get in these rankings! Barcello will be a fan favorite down in Tuscon. If you are a basketball fan, watch these highlights.

Now this is 6'5 Utah commit Jaxon Brenchley. Brenchley is also very impressive in his own right. He's very athletic, and able to even get up and block shots. As with most of these guys, he's not a one dimensional player, and can score in a variety of ways. Brenchley is another guy who I feel can come right in and compete for playing time.

I've got a couple more guys to talk about, both of them are from West Virginia. One of the them is 6'4 guard Luke Frampton, who's in the class of 2017. He's just committed to Davidson, and my goodness, can this guy play! He's a great athlete, and an elite shooter, two things that will serve him well at Davidson. His highlight video is really good; watch it if you've got time. This kid has some hops!

The next guy I'd like to talk about is Chase Johnson. He's a 6'7 forward, and I've gotta say, this kid is going to be a beast down low for somebody one day. He's a great rebounder, and a high flyer at that. He throws down some great dunks in his highlight video. He can also hit outside shots as well if need be. Schools that he's considering are Florida and West Virginia, among others.

Well, I'd never thought I'd see the day where this actually happened... but VCU just got a commit from a white guy! That would be Sean Mobley, a 6-9 wing player. That's how you know this guy has to be good, and he is. He is a very versatile wing player. He has some great handles for a 6'9 guy, and plays tenacious defense. Of course, playing for VCU, he's a great athlete as well. He chose VCU over schools like OK State, West Virginia, and TCU.

Well Shaka Smart is no longer there. He always struck me as one of those BLM / black power types. They are almost always light skinned types who feel compelled to try harder to show how black they are.

I'd be shocked if Texas ever recruites another White athlete as long as that racist Smart is in charge.

I'd figured I'd update one of the guys in the thread; Chase Johnson is going to Florida! I'm also going to start posting about prospects back in the prospects thread, so we can leave this thread for news like commits or injuries, etc.

Well, here's some news that shows the kind-heartedness of the nicest people on earth. First off, I'm sure this kid is a kind-hearted person who's simply misunderstood. I mean, he only killed a person - he's a good guy (sarcasm).

Morehead State's coach may face up to 1 year in jail for battery charges filed by one of his own players.

In other news, freshmen G Sam Cunliffe transfers from Arizona State, and Aussie freshman forward Harry Froling transfers from SMU. Good decision for Froling. Not sure why he'd ever go to SMU.

I'd still root for the guy but Cunliffe looks part injun or mestizo to me. His sister definitely looks more European but I can even see a mix of something in her as well. Does anyone know their racial makeup?

I wasn't able to find anything on them when I was first looking around back when Cunliffe was in high school. I think there may be something like that, but I'm not sure. Doing some digging just now, I found pictures of both of his parents, and honestly, they both look fairly white to me. His mom looks like she may be part Native American, but that's all I could see from looking at them. I could only find one picture of his dad, but he seemed white to me.

Some more commit news. This time, it's Villanova picking up the commitment of an underrated (go figure) 2017 PG by the name of Collin Gillespie. The 6'2, 180 lb guard is averaging 20.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. His other offers were: Delaware, Hofstra, Drexel, Maine, and Rider. As you can tell, Gillespie had a complete lack of high-major attention until Wright offered him. One can only wonder how many guys like Gillespie there are out there, over-looked by "scouting services" and "talent evaluators."

Anyway, what's up with Villanova now? They just graduated Arcidiacano, now they've got another freshman guard in Donte DiVincenzo tearing it up for them in a sixth man role this year. Plus, they have two freshman bigs that will likely be playing next year, in addition to Gillespie coming in. I've been on this site for 8 years, and before Arcidiancano came, Villanova had nary a white guy close to the floor. Maybe Arcidiacano opened Wright's eyes a bit more to potential "underrated" recruits?

Ok always alert JL. I will call him DD. I thought he was a sophomore but he is a redshirt freshman. Nice athlete with skills so lets ad him to the list of pleasant surprises by underclassmen this year. I am old enough to remember Harold Jensen back in 1985 a sophomore swingman who helped Villanova defeat mighty Georgetown in one of the biggest upsets in championship history. He was a perfect 5 for 5 from the field and ended up with 14 points in that stunner. He went on to have a solid career at Villanova and averaged nearly 16 point his senior year. He even got drafted but yada yada do I need to expand on what happened next?
I don't want to jinx anything but so far this season the performances of white underclassmen has been way above average.

I'm hoping this kid could be a player one day, but for now, he's just gonna have to grow into his body first, and I hope he doesn't end up having knee issues. But if he does adjust, he could definitely be a great player.

Some recent guys who've committed:

6'5, 190 lb 2017 shooter Sasha Stefanovic committed to Purdue recently. He can really stroke it from deep, and will likely be doing a lot of it for the Boilermakers.

4_4546645.jpg

http://247sports.com/Player/Sasha-Stefanovic-91428

Stanford received a commitment from 6'1 185 lb Aussie combo guard Isaac White. He's a very shifty guard who's really creative around the rim, and can make plays for his teammates. Another white guard in the Pac-12 can never hurt!

I'd also like to mention North Florida. If you count their transfer, JT Escobar, who'll be eligible next year, they'll have 5 whites out of 6 guys coming in!
