Army 15, SD St 10
Neb 13, UCLA 9
kent St 11, Kent 4
Missouri 10, GA 6

Also, I will be rooting for Wash to defeat a slightly whiter LSU, just to injure the SEC.

how predictable, the announcers talking about how great Penn St's offensive line is, how inexperienced Virginia's is etc. Day hasn't even broke off a big running play. Apparently his helmet isn't right for him, it keeps popping off.

Colin Klein looking much better as a passer, would love to see him on Sundays, he should be getting more hype after last season. The guy is a winner and just gets it done.

Taylor Martinez looked improved as a passer as well last week, hope it stays that way, but doesn't have the height of Klein, much faster though.

Virgina QB Rocco was "oddly benched" in favor of a negro, before coming back in and scoring the go-ahead TD late in the fourth quarter. Even the announcers didn't know what to make of it, calling the black quarterback's performance "wasted possessions." :icon_mrgreen:

Virgina TE McGee has been making huge plays in the second half, including catching the last TD pass.

I love this hurry-up pace that Air Force is using.
It has made them much tougher to defend.

White-friendly FCS school Sacramento St up on Colorado, 24-21, at halftime...at Colorado.
Mobile QB Garrett Safron looking great for Sac St. 14/17 for 167 Yds, 2 TDs.

BYU up 21-0 over Weber St at Half. Can be seen on the BYUTV cable channel.

Cody Fajardo torching another afflete-laden defense with this legs (and arm).
12 of 16, 139yds, 1TD
6 carries, 95yds, 1TD
Nevada leads South Florida 21-13 late second quarter.

Plus:
Johnny Manziel is a one man show for TAMU versus Florida.

So far I'm not impressed at all by QB O'Brien of Wisconsin. He'd better step it up or it's going to be a long year for them.

Michael Campanaro is having another big game for Wake Forest. against all the affletes of the aptly-named Tarheels from North Carolinba, he has 9 catches for 108 yards ... in the first half.

Sac St Soph QB, Garrett Safron:
25/37, 311 yds, 2 TDs, 6 rushes/36 yards

As they upset Colorado 30-28...at Colorado

Nevada dual-threat QB Cody Fajardo getting off against South Florida:

24-33, 253 yds, 1 TD
17 Rush, 140 yds, 2 TDs

They are ahead 31-26 with 2:37 left in the 4th

Cody Getz of Air Force finishes with 26 carries for 130 yards and 3TD.
Michigan was the toughest defense Air Force will face.
If he doesn't get banged up, there's a good chance he could lead the nation in rushing and touchdowns this season. You think he would get any Heisman consideration if he did?
(Don't bother... We all know the answer.)

Alex Amidon had another nice outing for BC. he pulled down 6 catches for 99 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown.

******************

in Wisconsin's loss, outstanding wideout/return man Jared Abbrederis was speared in the chest by a linebacker while going up for a catch. despite clearly leading with his head, the defender was not called for a penalty. Abbrederis left the game with an apparent chest injury and didn't return.

so much for the idea that officials were going to be cracking down on this kind of thing this year.

Tommy Rees replaces the Notre Dame black quarterback and leads the game winning drive!
Good news! ND having a black quarterback starting for them is causing me not to watch them.

Also Nevada couldn't hold off S. Florida, and loses 32-31 :icon_sad:

But Fajardo finishes with over 400 total yards:
27-37, 270 yds, 1 TD
18 Rush, 131 yds, 2 TDs

Rice, behind a nearly all-White offense, broke an 11-game road losing streak and prevailed against a very Caste-friendly Kansas squad.

Rice's quarterback and under-appreciated wideouts (virtually all of whom are White) looked pretty solid and had moments where they looked impressive. if their defense improves, Rice will be a fun team to watch.

perhaps more intriguing was the offense's solid performance despite getting little from star gamebreak Sam McGuffie. it was clear that Kansas gameplanned to take him out of the game, but the remaining guys (especially sophomore wide receiver Jordan Taylor and kicker Chris Boswell) did a good job of stepping up.

Taylor finished the game with 9 catches for 101 yards, and Boswell connected on 4 of 4 field goals, including the game-winner with 0:00 time left.

North Dakota State playing like they belong in Division I-A, currently ahead of CSU 16-7...at CSU.

Could both Colorado and Colorado State lose at home to FCS teams today?

Beau Blankenship has 19 carries for 134 yds and 1 TD at the half against New Mexico St.

Taylor Martinez just had a 92 yard TD run against UCLA!! Nebraska is up 14-7 after the first quarter!

That run by Martinez was a thing of beauty. He has such a natural running style and he is so explosive! I didn't know his stride was so long when he hits top speed. He just eats up the field. Good game so far although Burkhead hasn't played yet. Probably smart if he is not ready.

Burkhead is out this week. Smart move, I think. NEbraska should keep him ready for the Big 10 season. Abdullah and the others can handle the workload for a game or two. Rex is clearly the man and everybody knows it. When he gets back, he'll get his carries.
