Chip Kelly and his merry band of multi-colored QBs during his tenure along with his basketball on grass mentality really annoy me - I am hoping to see Aplin work some magic tonight

Oregon cheats.
Assisting the runner is a penalty and they've done it three times for two first downs. No flags.

Also, speaking of penalties, it seems obvious to me that the NCAA sent down a directive to all the officials to start calling holding like the NFL does. In other words, not at all.

If this game is representative of the overall offense for this season, it looks like Gus Malzahn is going to kill off any chance Taylor Stockemer has of making it to the NFL.

McElwain has SEC-ified CSU's offense, too. All WR's, the RB, and the TE are black with White OL and QB.

Didn't take him long, did it?

It's not that bad. They have true freshman Joe Hansley at wideout along with Thomas Coffman, who missed their first game because he is recovering from the stomach surgery he had a few weeks ago.

Looking forward to seeing SMU vs Baylor. I hope Gilbert has a sucessful start to his SMU career and Zach Line throws up some great numbers.

Also - lets hope the louisville blackbirds lose their debut today. They have every ones favorite AA coach Charlie Strong and his pet black quarterback Bridgewater

I don't know if I've ever seen a football team that was bad at everything. That Kentucky team is the first.

SMU has problems. Those problems will hurt Line's opportunities this season.
Gilbert isn't great. The offensive line is mediocre. The receivers are poor.

Correction: Gilbert stinks.

Well, Fox just "Fullback'd" Zach Line. I was wondering when that would happen.

And Gehrig Dieter had three catches for 64 yards and his first collegiate touchdown.

Nick Florence put up huge numbers for Baylor in his first start. I wonder if he will be getting Heisman hype from BSPN now. I am glad he put up big numbers because he is a white QB and it also shows that Griffin was not the reason for Baylor's success and he did not deserve the Heisman.

I also wonder if any of the Redskins front office/coaching staff were watching the game and realized they were fleeced by a system QB that the media hyped up all of last season.

The FOX announcer quickly corrected himself about Zach Line...saying "the 230lb. fullback..Tailback is a punishing runner"...they also raved about him countless times about how quick his feet were at that size & refering to him as an NFL-type back. He also has great hands with 5 receptions to go along w/ 135 yards rushing!

True freshman Gehrig Dieter looked good when in he came in the game late...you should be hearing more from him!

Hope Rex Burkhead's MCL Sprain/strain will heal up quick! Thankfully doesn't seem serious. The nice 57 yard TD run had me stoked! Then the injury soon after had me bummed out...

That was only one of the times he said it. The other time, he referred to him as a fullback, without further qualification.

Yes, true Frosh 3-star WR recruit, Dieter, at 6'3" 200lbs, 4.6/40 and 4.1 shuttle, from South Bend, Indiana, was never offered a scholarship by Indiana, Notre Dame, or Purdue. If SMU had worked him in earlier during the game, they may have had a better chance to hang with Baylor.

Don't think anyone mentioned DE Bjoern Werner of Florida State racking up 4 sacks. He leads D1 and I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes the season #1.

Just tuned into the Virginia Tech - Georgia Tech game. A battle of black QBs, but Zach Laskey appears to be getting a significant amount of touches!

Georgia Tech's running game has completely stalled since they pulled Laskey, for a "breather" i suppose. i won't lie ... i am VERY happy none of the affletic backs have proven effective.

A little bit late on this, but did anyone else notice that white RB Caleb Muncrief had his redshirt burned for 5 garbage time snaps for Oklahoma State in that laugher non-conference game? I bet that's the last time he sees the field for Gundy this season. It happens to whites all the time.

Georgia Tech walk-on defensive back Coray Carlson might've just saved the game for the Wrambling Wreck. his open-field tackle of Va Tech wideout Corey Fuller prevented what would've been a go-ahead, game-winning score.

as it is, Va Tech hit a game-tying field goal. still, it's "amazing" that a player who "isn't good enough" to earn a scholarship is on the field making plays to help his team during crunch time. i wonder what it takes, then, to "deserve" a scholarship.

also, Ga Tech's vaunted running game has been anemic this evening. there's been no explanation as to why Laskey hasn't been getting touches. he was the only B Back for the Yellowjackets who has been effective.

correction! Ga tech's black quarterback just made the dumbest play so far of the year, albeit it is still early in the season. instead of taking a short, virtually-certain field goal in overtime, the fool heaves up an idiotic, no-chance-in-hell duck toward no one except a swarm of Hokies. expectedly, Va Tech picks it off. the result? inevitable defeat to another ineptly quotabacked team. such is life in affirmative-action football.

pathetic.

Nonsense. Muncrief will undoubtedly see the field as a human missile on special teams. He will assume his racially-accepted role as a WSTD.
