play is just that a myth. Highway Robbery last year and this years asserts that even more. I would have had Hutchinson win it with Pickett 2nd or 3rd.

Nice write up but one thing always bothers me about these “scouts” and that is their tendency to say black player makes more splash plays or has a higher ceiling... and yet if they can’t figure it out in college what makes them likely to in the NFL? Splash play seems to be more of a code for black.

As fine of a linebacker Kanak is I would much rather see him on offense playing running back. Incredible speed. He would be a superstar!

He’s gotten invites to the senior bowl and the E/W Shrine game.

Thanks for the update. I wonder if this is a good move for him after a injury filled season?. Maybe they have a couple rb recruits coming in and he saw the writing in the wall.

Same situation as Nall. For selfish reasons, I wanted to watch him play one more year.
Did Oregon St plan on giving the starting job to Artavis? Maybe Purdue thinks “King” is the future?

My guess is that Purdue is sold on King as the starter and he would get the majority of the carries. I didn't like Nall leaving early as he was healthy
and tearing it up. I do agree with Horvath taking the chance. I think it's a good move. All he needs is a legitimate chance. It will probably only be
at fullback knowing the NFL but maybe a few injuries and he could get lucky to get more carries and prove some people wrong.

I'm sure he is happy but I would have rather had him go to a regular university. The chances of
any running back to make the NFL coming out of the military is slim to none. Oh well I guess

I'm a bit dissatisfied with Air Force as well. On a positive note: they have a pretty good track record of playing White RBs.

Frew had offers from Fordham, Yale, Penn, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Navy, Army, and UMass. None of those are really standing out to me as good Choices either.
