Alabama Quota won the Heisman. His stats:

315 cmp/463 att 68% completion yards per attempt 9.3 4322 yards passing43 TD 4 4 INTs
71 rush 31 yards 3 TDs

Mac Jones was third in the Heisman last year. His stats:
311 cmp/402 att 77.4% completion yards per attempt 11.2 4500 yards passing 41 TDs 4 INTs
35 rush 14 yards 1 TD

Food for thought. Somehow Young's season is magical and Jones had a "better supporting cast". FYI - Alabama ended up going undefeated with Mac Jones at the helm.

The Caste System in full effect. Yes we know that the guys that deserve to win not only don't win awards but in many cases don't play. The myth that the best players
play is just that a myth. Highway Robbery last year and this years asserts that even more. I would have had Hutchinson win it with Pickett 2nd or 3rd.

Today starts the early signing period in college. Notre Dame received a letter signing Nolon Ziegler a 6' 4" 205 lb safety. He is ranked the no. 16 athlete in the country. They also got a commitment from Aiden Gobaira a 6'6" 230 weakside end.

I looked up stud athlete Troy Anderson (Montana St).
He’s gotten invites to the senior bowl and the E/W Shrine game.
If someone’s else posted this, I missed it.
But this kid should be on an NFL roster.

Zander Horvath, with a covid year of eligibility left, declares for draft and will play in the Hula bowl,,,,, They call him a fullback, of course

Yes sir ...Leonardfan has been all over the invites....check 2022 NFL Draft thread on Troy Andersen

Last week i highlighted Troy Andersen on FCS Playoff thread and added him to the 2021 Linebacker thread
.....been following him early in his career as a Running Back & QB ; they told him his future was a LBer in the NFL...I called him Big Sky version of Taysom Hill (mixed w some Urlacher)

Hill mixed with Urlacher sounds like one hell of a player! I remember CF covering him throughout his career as Offensive and now Defensive player. Sounds like a natural talent, but I've still yet to see him play!

Thanks for the update. I wonder if this is a good move for him after a injury filled season?. Maybe they have a couple rb recruits coming in and he saw the writing in the wall.

Same situation as Nall. For selfish reasons, I wanted to watch him play one more year.
Did Oregon St plan on giving the starting job to Artavis? Maybe Purdue thinks “King” is the future?

My guess is that Purdue is sold on King as the starter and he would get the majority of the carries. I didn't like Nall leaving early as he was healthy
and tearing it up. I do agree with Horvath taking the chance. I think it's a good move. All he needs is a legitimate chance. It will probably only be
at fullback knowing the NFL but maybe a few injuries and he could get lucky to get more carries and prove some people wrong.

I'm sure he is happy but I would have rather had him go to a regular university. The chances of
any running back to make the NFL coming out of the military is slim to none. Oh well I guess
we will just have to enjoy him while we can. Go Air Force Fighting Falcons!

I'm a bit dissatisfied with Air Force as well. On a positive note: they have a pretty good track record of playing White RBs.

Frew had offers from Fordham, Yale, Penn, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Navy, Army, and UMass. None of those are really standing out to me as good Choices either.

Lol. I hope their is more of this. Delusional clowns like this railing against the very system that gives them advantages due to skin color. The lack of self awareness is comical.

Lol good point!
