Hopefully he recruits the same areas he did while he was at Wisconsin.

Supposedly he's intent on recruiting Central and Southern Illinois which would be a smart move imo. As mentioned he can always dip up north for some talent as well.

Illinois and the Big Ten is home for me, and I can't be any more excited about the opportunity in front of me with the Fighting Illini,’ Bielema said. ‘We want to build a program that makes Illini Nation proud and regain the passion that I've seen when Illinois wins. We want the young men playing football in the state of Illinois from Freeport to Cairo and from Quincy to Danville dreaming of wearing the Orange and Blue and playing at Memorial Stadium. I look forward to re-connecting with the high school coaches around the state making it clear we intend to keep our players home.

Vanderbilt went with Notre Dame DC Chris Lea as their new Head Coach. Not a bad decision, be interesting to see how he recruits.

Desmond Howard wants former Utah QB and current Florida OC Brian Johnson as Arizona's new HC..

Iowa State LB Mike Rose named Big 12 defensive player of the year, James Lynch won it last year.

Oklahoma State C Creed Humphrey named Big 12 offensive lineman of the year.

1st Team All-Big 12
QB Brock Purdy - Iowa State
TE Charlie Kolar - Iowa State
OL Colin Newell - Iowa State
OL Jack Anderson - Texas Tech
OL Sam Cosmi - Texas
OL Creed Humphrey- Oklahoma

DE Wyatt Hubert - Kansas State
LB Mike Rose - Iowa State
LB Garret Wallow - TCU

2nd Team All-Big 12
QB Sam Ehlinger - Texas
TE Chase Allen - Iowa State
OL Derek Schwieger - Iowa State
OL Noah Johnson - Kansas State
OL Dawson Deaton - Texas Tech

LB Malcolm Rodriguez - Oklahoma State

Excellent to see so many OL on those lists!

Mike Rose has been a stud Making plays in The Big 12. NFL size should be another good one come pros.

Purdy and Kolar both should NFL players. Same with the defenders Hubert and Wallow.

I'd like to see Rodriguez get a shot as a hybrid Safety. Seems to have a knack for making tackles.

Let’s hope he sticks to that instead of importing out of state affletes that haven’t amount to much for the Illini.

Agreed. I wonder if Trevor Moffitt (FL) will remain committed. Athletic freak.

He got the hint! Cuck Riley does not like white QBs.

Oklahoma redshirt sophomore QB Tanner Mordecai entered the transfer portal.
Mordecai (6'2/208) entering the portal makes all kinds of sense, as the redshirt freshman wasn't going to see the field until current starter Spencer Rattler either graduates or departs for the NFL. A former four-star recruit who was rated as the 249th best overall prospect and 11th best dual-threat QB in the 2018 class, the redshirt sophomore signal caller should find plenty of interested schools that are in need of a quarterback.

Good news is that this year is a mulligan, he still has three years eligibility.

True, don't mean to be a negative Nancy. But we call out this crap almost as soon as these kids sign.

Yep very true...funny how our little corner of the internet is the only one that brings the racial component into it when it's blatantly obvious yet won't get any acknowledgement from these kids or their HS coaches.

Yes, most “normies” would consider us “idiot racists” but our world view more accurately predicts future events then theirs does. We see things as they are, not how we wish them to be.

Exactly. This is real life, many people can't handle their safe space bubble being popped. Easier to keep their heads in the sand.

Harsin is leaving Boise St. and after seeing what he has done to the Broncos it couldn't have come soon enough. Hopefully someone who appreciates and respects how Boise St. rose to the levels of success and maintained it will come in and clean the program up a little bit. I won't hold my breath but it's still nice to see Harsin gone.

Per Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, Auburn hired Boise State HC Bryan Harsin to serve as HC.

To update an earlier item, Auburn and Harsin have officially come to an agreement for Harsin to take over as the team's new HC. Harsin is coming off his seventh season with Boise State. Over those seven seasons, Harsin has never once finished below nine wins (besides this shortened 2020 season, of course). Harsin also brought the Broncos three MWC titles in 2014, 2017, and 2019. Perhaps Auburn fans and alumni were expecting a flashier young play caller to take the job, but Harsin's experience and resume in dominating the Group of Five is as strong as anyone's.

Baylor QB Charlie Brewer transferring to Utah
Washington QB Jacob Sirmon transferring to Cent Mich
Miss St QB Garret Shrader to Syracuse
Louisville QB Tee Webb to Southern Miss - good move as the new head coach seems to be a big time caste clown

I agree it's an odd choice for a 4 star qb who broke countless records in Texas at the high school level. He is going to be a junior. He probably should have stayed at Arizona but he
without a doubt could have picked a better landing spot. My guess is he got nervous with not enough teams reaching out to him but it is the holidays.

I think he saw Brady White's success as a transfer in the offense they are running. Although a junior he will still have 3 years of eligibility. I just do not like the demographics of that Memphis team. Brady White did have a stellar career there though.

Was just going to say worked out well for White.

Great article highlighting Leonhard's success as a Defensive Coordinator. I was elated when Chryst hired him, may go down as an All Time Great hire for College Football. For now, he's staying put in Wisconsin. Let's hope they can win a Championship before he leaves to coach elsewhere.

I saw that a Va Tech black quarterback has transferred to North Dakota State - more pathetic nonsense.

Was just going to post this.. Seen this pattern before. A program built off success of underrated White Athletes starts going Affletic route.. Also **** Va Tech, all they have recruited is Black QBs for past 25yrs lol.

QB Tanner Mordeci transferring to SMU ...will battle hot shot Class of 21' Preston Stone. Shane Buechele declared for the NFL Draft.
