Some good news for 2020. Let's look at some of the top 5 college quarterbacks currently in NCAA College Division One Football:

upload_2020-10-30_2-29-16.png

If you notice we have 4 of the top 5 quarterbacks in America as of right now. This bodes well for the future of the NFL. To add to this we also have Undefeated BYU with the 2nd best quarterback in the country in Zach Wilson and they also have the current
number 4th ranked wide receiver in the country in Dax Milne! Gotta love that. :) It would be great to see BYU run the table and they have a very good chance of doing so sitting at 6-0 currently.

I'm also pumped about Shane Buechele and SMU with only 1 loss all year. Mac Jones and Alabama are undefeated as is the amazing Trevor Lawrence and Clemson! We should all be very happy how these fine young quarterbacks are doing! They are the future! :)

Extremely long read, probably too long, but enjoyable reading about the quick and sudden downfall of one of the most odious college programs, the Florida state seminoles

https://www.espn.com/college-footba...hole-6-year-unraveling-florida-state-football

I read through that the other day. Seemed like a laundry list of excuses to me. Also, it sounds like Taggart being a "players coach" did not go over well. It's great to see FSU struggle as they along with Miami were the two programs that really ushered in the caste system and obnoxious black mentality that has destroyed the game today.

I'm happy with BYU sitting at 9-0. They have a top 3 qb in the country and two of the best receivers anywhere.

Dax Milne has over 900 yards receiving on the year. Romney has over 700 yards. Both of these guys did it on some of the fewest receptions of all of the top guys. They just make big play after big play. They are so fun to watch. I will
be stoked if BYU can sneak into a playoff. They deserve it. Let's keep our fingers crossed guys.

The initial playoff rankings have 9-0 BYU at 14. They have played more games than team listed ahead of them yet are way down in the rankings. They are citing strength of schedule. Not sure if they have watched much football this year since the SEC has become Big 12 lite with lack of defensive play yet have 4 teams in the top 14. The committee is highly political and is a good reason why we only see the same 4 teams in the playoff year in and year out (typically Ohio St gets gifted in after they make enough excuses for them). Somehow Texas A&M is ranked 5th in the country. UGA and Oklahoma both have 2 losses but are ranked 9th and 11th.

I could see BYU beating the following teams ranked ahead of them head to head - Iowa St, Indiana, Oklahoma, Miami, Cincinnati, Texas A&M

Minnesota vs Wisconsin cancelled. Wisco will only have a 5 game season now...what's the point? The Big Ten, MWC, Pac 12 conferences really blew it this year. The other conferences should have a majority of there teams play a 10 game schedule. Not sure why the Big Ten or Pac 12 should even be considered for a playoff if they play less games...seems counter intuitive.

Just call the season Wisconsin. What a **** show Kevin Warren has run this year. The upside the Big Ten didn't need.

Michigan - Ohio St cancelled. Ohio State is now non-eligible for the Big Ten championship game. What kind of strings are going to be pulled by the NCAA and BSPN to try and put the Buckeyes in the playoff?

Big ten removes the requirement for a minimum of 6 games to qualify for the championship game so Ohio st can play vs northwestern. The system is rigged! Even if they do win a 6 win team should not be allowed in the playoff but the ncaa will let it happen for the shekels it will bring in.

Colin Schooler is coming back to play for Texas Tech in 2020. It was mentioned earlier than Brenden plans to do the same at Texas. Colin will finish his college career with well over 400 tackles after becoming the first 5 year starter in NCAA history (I’m sure there may be others next year as well).

Glad to hear he will be back! Any word on Eli Howard?

Utah State players have "taken a knee" and will be opting out of their final game this weekend against Colorado State. Former head coach Gary Andersen resigned in the middle of their 1-5 season, leaving the interim reins to program assistant Frank Maile, who is a full-blown Mormon (married with 4 kids at 38) and also a fair-skinned POC.

The university president, a white woman named Noelle Cockett, held a Zoom call with the entire football team this past Tuesday to discuss Maile's candidacy for the full-time role. Apparently, she used some clunky language to describe the fervor of the Latter Day Saints. The football team is alleged to have been taken aback by her characterization. While there aren't any quotes, the gist was that Utah State is a different, secular cultural fit.

Anyway, the black interim coach didn't get the job and another white coach from Arkansas State was tipped as the hire. The players (majority black, obviously) have decided to skip their final game in protest, citing religious discrimination and a push toward equality. Their team statement reminds us that an assistant coach once used a racial slur last season. They waited to vocalize their civil unrest until the hiring decision came out three days later.

A weird and wacky situation, especially the part where the university president interviewed the players on a huge group Zoom call to include them in the hiring process. Why would you ever do this?

Not sure if it was mentioned elsewhere, but Vanderbilt players also decided to "opt out" of their final game after some internal strife. Their (black) coach was fired with a game left in a winless season. The 'coup de grace' was trotting out a female soccer player to squib kick 30 yards and shatter the patriarchy.

Online rumors said the staff was just as appalled as the players. The girl kicker even gave the halftime speech during the game. Who knows who's pulling the strings on this one. Personally, I can't blame the players for feeling usurped by a social justice cause (feminism), even if they'd simply prefer to support a competing cause (racial grievance). Someone should write the book!

Interesting state of affairs regarding Utah State and Vandy @Phall .

Apparently Jackson He became the 1st Chinese player to score a TD in NCAA for Arizona State. Media of course reporting this with glee.

Vanderbilt's Sarah Fuller became the first woman to kick an extra point. Clearly she doesn't have much power and, of course, is only kicking due to female privilege. Some more qualified white man has been replaced. So much for judging people based on merit.
