Pretty awesome about McGufffie!

White should be the favorite for The Memphis starting job?!

Shireffs should consider WYOMING a destination as strange as that might sound.

Really looking forward to Laird next season. Another white RB in The Pac 12 they've had a decent streak going!

QB Keller Chryst transferring from Stanford.

The Senior QB at University of Idaho is gone. There is an opening. But who knows if his pride can handle playing at an FCS school. He will likely transfer to another top ranked school that is loaded with 4 and 5 star QBs. That seems to be the pattern with these top QB transfers. 'I cant win the QB competition at this school against other 4 and 5 star QBs, so let me transfer to another school that has the same situation. I'll ignore the 100 other schools where I could start and excel.'

Agreed. Another recent example of this is UGAs Jacob Eason. He just announced he's transferring to Washington.

Good to see you back and posting Vanilla_Sky! I am curious to see what comes of all of the transfer qbs. I believe Thomson is eligible immediately and their is a supposed buzz around him.

Also glad to see Malzone leave the Michigan QB logjam.

New Mexico's Caste head coach, Bob Davie, receives 30-day suspension after abuse and other allegations.

"Witnesses say Davie held a team meeting and instructed players to “get some dirt on this w*ore” after a UNM student accused a UNM football player of rape in February 2017."

Also, alleged are "racial slurs" and abuse of players. Maybe if he wasn't so Caste and recruited more White players on his team instead of going after the 100th best black player (after the other 99 were already taken) at nearly every position on his team, he wouldn't be in this position himself. Simply playing Colt Gerhart at QB, instead of some random black quarterback, would've made a big enough difference and garnered him enough wins to temper his mood.

I am not sure if anybody ever picked up on this here but there was a heavily recruited rb out of Michigan named Wyatt Shallman. He went to Michigan and eventually wound up as a 5th string rb and then eventually moved to TE where he did not play much. As Ohio was playing their bowl game this year I wound up watching it because I knew they were about the whitest team at the D1 level with corner Ellis, rb Oullette and 3 or 4 white wr's with playing time. There was a very athletic large lb on the field making play after play. Who was it? Yes, Wyatt Shallman. He graduated from Michigan but came on to play last year for Ohio as a graduate senior red shirt It was one game but he looked pretty darn good. The kid could make an NFL team as a FA. He clearly has the size and athleticism. Just a nice story as he got screwed at UM but came back to play competitive football and do well.

Some good news on the running back front as incoming athlete , Samson Evans for the Iowa Hawk Eyes will be tried out as a rb and not at wr where most predicted he would wind up playing. Iowa has a ton of talented white wr depth for this year so it will be good to see another Brandon Wegher candidate on board.

Some updates I found from weenieworld. Good luck to Dudek who is going to be a on a coal black team with pretty much only he and Epstein as white athletes to play on the team. It is a shame he has had ACL injuries and now will most likely be having a scattershot black quarterback throwing him the ball erratically.

Hawaii redshirt senior WR Dylan Collie transferred to BYU as a graduate. Collie (5’10/175) had been deciding between a move to either BYU or Vanderbilt. The Cougars make for a familiar choice, here, as he actually initially signed on with the program out of high school in 2012 before later transferring to the islands. This past season with Hawaii, Collie grabbed 56 passes for 636 yards and a quartet of touchdowns. He figures to make an immediate impact at BYU as a graduate transfer. The team could use all the offensive help it can get after finishing as one of the nation’s worst units for the 2017 season.

Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt said QB Keller Chryst will compete for starting duties.
Chryst (6’5/236) is a graduate transfer from Stanford and will look to start for the Volunteers. Pruitt continues by saying, “there’s probably other guys that would like to have come here, but I would not tell them they’d be the starting quarterback — that will be determined by the guys on the field.” Chryst went 11-2 the past two seasons as the starter for Stanford, but was benched for redshirt freshman K.J. Costello halfway through the 2017 season. He will be competing with sophomores Jarrett Guarantano and Will McBride for the starting job.

Illinois Coach Lovie Smith said redshirt senior WR Mike Dudek has “no limitations on him.”
Smith continued by saying “Mike is just a good player” and “This is valuable work for him in this new offence. We have big plans for Mike, not just as a receiver but as a returner also.” After being named a True-Freshman All-American in 2014, Dudek’s career has been derailed by two torn ACL’s in consecutive seasons. In 2017 he tallied only 24 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown as he missed five games due to other injuries. Dudek will look to make a significant impact in his last season as a collegiate athlete.

Early enrollee Max Borghi is already creating some buzz in his short time on campus. This kid could be the next big thing.

Good stuff!!! Thanks for sharing this. Hopefully the McGrew kid for the Huskies will also get playing time this year. It also looks like Washington recruited another white RB Nate Ihlenfeldt. I hope Petersen lets both of these guys see the field this season. It looks like the state of Washington will be one of the focal points for some of our players in 2018.

Found this laughable. I guess weenieworld doesn't recall Brandon Harris and Malik Zaire and how they were supposed to be great QBs for the schools they transferred too.

ESPN's Adam Rittenberg passes along that transferring Arizona redshirt senior QB Brandon Dawkins will be taking visits to FAU and Indiana.

Rittenberg additionally checks off UCLA and Nebraska as two programs gunning for the graduate transfer. Dawkins announced that he would be moving on in February, a logical enough decision given the emergence of Heisman-contending Wildcats QB Khalil Tate. We're interested to see UCLA as a contender in the reeds, as transfers often come with stipulations against moving in-conference. Apparently not so with this one. Over the course of three seasons at Arizona, Dawkins threw for 2,418 yards and posted a 15/12 TD/INT ratio while adding 1,582 yards and 20 touchdowns as a runner. Any four of these programs -- UCLA, Nebraska, FAU, Indiana -- would offer Dawkins a reasonable chance to compete for starting honors ahead of the 2018 campaign.

Four Texas Tech "student athletes" were arrested last night including their quoataback who is supposedly in competition for the starting position. Kliff Kingsbury has truly built a joke of a program down there.

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...s-tech-players-arrested-early-sunday-morning/

Found this interesting - they use some Orwellian doublespeak to cover up the fact the highly rated upside laden black quarterback raped someone. Nonconsensual intercourse is rape.

Duffey, a sophomore from Mansfield, Texas, appeared in one game as a redshirt freshman in 2017, but is expected to compete with junior McLane Carter for the starting role this fall. This has not been Duffey’s first disciplinary issue in Lubbock, however. He was suspended by the university for the spring and summer sessions of 2017 after the Texas Tech Title IX panel determined he had “nonconsensual intercourse” with a woman in April 2016. Duffey was named the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Mr. Texas Football Award winner during his senior year of 2015 before enrolling for the spring term of 2016.

Mendenhall has apparently named a black quarterback as the starter at UVA. It is very early of course but disappointing none the less.
