Louisville Head Coach Scott Satterfield claims McCaffery came in wanting to be the starter and after 3 or4 days McCaffery decided it wasn't going to happen there. His father and mother are huge influences on him.

Maybe Satterfield or one of the Louisville recruiters promised him the starting job and then back pedaled once he committed.

Im glad McCaffery moved on quickly and should be eligible immediately at Rice

Love the McCaffreys, but they aren’t pageant parents.....wishy washy.
Take your time, make a decision and stick with it.

As a big fan of all of them, if the talent was truly there, there’d be no transferring.
I believe Luke and Dylan may be more like Plumlee...
Incredible athletes without a position...,
Christian, luckily, was shorter, thus playing running back...
I think Dylan is too tall, but Luke should bulk up and play RB!
But, as we know, who wants a white kid running the ball other than us?

It will be interesting to see what ends up with both of them. I think Luke got caught up in the aura of Nebraska and committed without thinking it through. For whatever reason Frost thinks Martinez is the QB that should be the starter. The Louisville transfer was a boneheaded decision but again we do not know the specifics. Satterfield could of promised McCaffery something during the recruitment process. McCaffery is probably one of the biggest recruits Rice has ever pulled into the program so he needs to stick with it. I wouldn't mind seeing him transfer to RB myself.

As for Dylan I think he got somewhat of a raw deal at UM. We saw the huge mistake Michigan made when they went with Milton. At least at N. Colorado he will get to play for his dad.

Yes a walk on, who'd ever heard of such a thing. Good thing for Dabo but I am sure an anti-White bigot in the media will now have his/her/it antenna up looking for anything to pin on Dabo and his program.

I think they just ruined college sports, at best I see a few professionals surrounded by have nots and full load tuition payment regular students while a bling bling moron has a rap act retinue of flunkies and "bling." Also at OutKick is another story of some talented white girl gymnast/Instagram model where it's predicted she has a 7 figure payday coming her way. The Left's coalition of angry not so hot, not so white, not so talented will not be happy about this.

America 2.0 is a clusterf**k and "Idiocracy" was a documentary.

Pro Football Focus named Air Force freshman RB Brad Roberts as a first-team preseason All Mountain West performer.
Roberts (5'11/200) was devastatingly efficient after taking over for injured RB Timothy Jackson, rushing 64 times for 461 yards, 7.2 YPC and five touchdowns in just four games for the Falcons. PFF gave him a strong 82.0 rushing grade for his performance last year, as Roberts averaged an elite 4.22 yards after contact while posting 13 runs of 10-or-more yards. He will continue to be the focal point of an Air Force rushing attack that led the nation by averaging 306 yards per game on the ground in 2020.

I love this and he will get a chance to shine. I just can't help but think how much better it would be if he were at another college where he could get a better chance to play pro someday. add to that the fact that Uncle Sam wants
to vaccinate all the troops despite what they want. I think alot of them will go AWOL. Complete madness what's going on in this oountry and around the world. Despite that I'm excited to watch the Air Force Fighting Falcons
in the fall. Thanks for the update Leonardfan. You do such an amazing job with both college and pro football.

This is just a projection at this point with Bachmeier and Sears in an open QB competition going into the season. Sears certainly has the pedigree and more physical ability than Bachmeier. Sears is already 23 years old so I am personally rooting for him to win the job and have a strong year which may parlay him into getting some momentum heading into the 2022 draft. I just watched his highlights from the Air Force game last year and he was near flawless. I checked out some Bachmeier highlights as well and Sears has the stronger arm and just looks to be the better all around QB - Size, movement ability, accuracy, arm strength.

https://www.ktvb.com/article/sports...-job/277-4743d7c4-6ecc-47cf-b4c6-48167fdfdbfd

Pro Football Focus College rates Boise State junior QB Jack Sears as an Honorable Mention All-Mountain West selection.

Sears (6'2'219) is battling Hank Bachmeier for lead signal caller duties, but it has been assumed by the majority of preseason publications that Bachmeier has the inside track. PFF is one of the first entities to call this race for Sears, as they bestowed an elite 93.3 passing grade on him after completing 24-of-28 passes for 347 yards and a three-to-zero ratio. Conversely PFF grades Bachmeier as a 76.3 coming off of his 96-for-160, 1,135 yard, six-to-two ratio showing in 2020. For PFF to not only predict Sears to win the job, but to perform at an all-conference level bodes well for his chances to win over the new coaching staff.

Bubba Chandler & Will Taylor two Clemson Football QB commits are waiting to see where they are drafted in Sunday's baseball draft before they will say if they will stay with football. Chandler is the number 20 prospect and Taylor is number21. If Chander stays heWI likely will be the backup QB since Clemson lost their backup this spring due to an injury.

Can a more season caste fan help me with this?

looking at 2022 recruit rankings, does it appear to anyone else that there’s an uptick in highly rated whit recruits? QB class looks unreal. I’m seeing a solid amount of 4 star WR and DB as well. Moderate amount of LB and there’s at least one RB (opposed to often 0)

I didn’t pay attention how I do now so I can’t confirm things are looking bright. But I thought that recent years of the 2010s looked worse than now.

Sounds like Chandler is going the MLB route. Not sure why he comitted to Clemson in the first place though.

According to ESPN's Tom VanHaaren, Clemson freshman QB Bubba Chandler plans to sign a professional contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Chandler (6'3/190), a four-star prospect in the Class of 2021, originally signed with Clemson with the intention of playing both football and baseball for the Tigers. However, after being selected by the Pirates with the 72nd pick in the MLB Amateur Draft, he won't be playing baseball at Clemson. It's worth noting that an athlete can sign a professional baseball contract and continue to play another sport. That being said, Chandler's intention to sign a contract that will likely pay him in the high six figures likely means that he won't be headed to Clemson. He is one of two incoming freshmen drafted by the Pirates thus far, with the other being Penn State WR Lonnie White (62nd overall pick).

@jacque - I just post and follow the Class of '22 thread on this site: http://castefootball.us/index.php?threads/class-of-2022.37581/

The recruiting process is something I am just beginning to follow a little more closely now so I cannot really speak with any sort of historical accuracy on the 2022 class in comparison with previous years.

It was only the past couple years when I realized I only give a **** about white players mainly so I don’t have knowledge on classes as whole. I thought 2022 looked promising though.

I like Strong's confidence! He may be the best bet to emerge out of this upcoming season as a high first round pick.

Nevada redshirt sophomore QB Carson Strong wants to set the NCAA completion percentage record in 2021.

Though Strong's (6'4/215) stated goal of besting Mac Jones' all-time completion percentage of 77.4 percent set in 2020 seems out of reach at first, you must take into account that Strong completed 70.1 percent of his passes last season. When The Draft Network's Crissy Froyd asked Strong about what he wanted to accomplish this year, he said "It sounds crazy, but I want to be the first quarterback to reach an 85% completion percentage, Joe Burrow type of stuff. I really think that we could do that with the receivers that we’ve got here." Nevada returns 10 offensive starters, including the entire wide receiver corps with a returning from injury Elijah Cooks, from a team that threw for 319 yards last season in OC Matt Mumme's air-raid scheme that creates windows for seasoned quarterbacks to deliver well-timed, short-yardage strikes. While he might not break the all-time passing accuracy record, it's safe to say Strong is inline for a huge 2021 season at Nevada.

The Alabama black quarterback has endorsements nearing 1 million dollars. More reason to root against them this year!

Ridiculous. SEC is happy they can finally admit to what they've been doing all along. Paying players. I also noticed A&M is giving away 10k to 2 players every week for exclusive interviews.. America is such a racist country lol

Good thing they are still getting their tuition covered for free via scholarship while making money on top of it.

What happened to equity? Aren’t all these affletes about taking a knee and making sure everyone gets an equal outcome? Funny how that all works.

The entire preseason watch list is at the link below and there's a lot of names. Someone who follows college football more closely than me can tally the number of overachievers on it besides Romney. Max Borghi is on it, guess he's not a tailback anymore?

ROMNEY NAMED TO 2021 BILETNIKOFF AWARD WATCH LIST

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the prestigious Biletnikoff Award, has named BYU receiver Gunner Romney to the 2021 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS pass catcher, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back).

Romney, a 6-3, 195-pound junior out of Chandler, Arizona, ranked No. 15 in nation in 2020 with a team-high 19.7 yards per catch while helping BYU to a No. 11 final ranking. He posted four games with 100 or more receiving yards last year—Navy (134), Troy (138) LA Tech (101) and Boise State (133)—while ranking No. 28 in nation with 767 receiving yards on 39 catches despite missing nearly three full games with injury. Overall, Romney boasts 83 catches for 1,306 yards and six touchdowns in 32 games played for the Cougars.

Last year, Romney was also recognized on the watch list after a strong start to the season along with fellow BYU wideout Dax Milne, who become a 2020 Biletnikoff Award semifinalist and All-American receiver before being selected by Washington in the NFL Draft.
