Penn upended defending champions Villanova tonight, ending the Wildcats' 25-game win streak within Philadelphia's Big 5 schools. The Quakers repeatedly gashed Villanova's defense with cuts and precision passing that ended in easy Penn layups. The Quakers have two white starters (it would've been three, but one of their guards, Ryan Betley, had his season ending in the first game of the year) and play a couple of white players off the bench, one is "6th starter" guard Jake Silpe. Tonight, Broduer had 16 points, 6 boards, and 4 assists (he is a GREAT assist man). Silpe had 11 points and 4 boards off Overall, the Quakers are a good team to support, routinely having 2 whites and 1 Asian (some actually diversity over the usual all-black formula) on the floor. They've already beat another "Power 6" school in Miami, so the Quakers are a real threat to win the Ivy League bid and potentially ruin a few brackets in March.

Collin Gillespie had a season-high and game-high 21 points in a losing effort for the Wildcats.

In another game tonight on a day without many contests, white-friendly South Dakota State absolutely plastered all-black Savannah State to the tune of 139(!)-72. The Jackrabbits scored 90(!) in the 1st half! Mike Daum had 37 points and 17 boards in the winning effort.

On Sunday, Virginia outlasted a pesky VCU team 57-49 and are now 9-0 on the year. Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome led the way for the Cavaliers, with Guy leading the team with 15 points and 6 boards, while Jerome was second on the team with 14 points and 8 rebounds.

Oregon State's Tres Tinkle had 15 and 10 in a loss against St. Louis Sunday. It's a shame Drew Eubanks left early, he may have been enough to push Oregon State from average to good. Put Eubank's decision to enter the NBA draft early in the Henry Ellenson/Erik Mika/Tyler Lydon file of stupid decisions. I'm with Shadowlight in that unless a white player is a surefire Top 10 pick, they should never leave college early.

Anyways, I've noticed this thread has by and large been missing some of the pics that have been posted by Jimmy and myself in years past, so I figured I'd round out the post by showing a few of our guys in action.

One more team to watch: The Davidson are 8-1 on the year, and have a very fun squad to watch. Contrary to the media's perspective on their team, black player Kellan Grady is not the best on the squad so far this year. That honor would go to the team's do-it-all point guard, Icelandic junior Jon Axel Gudmundsson. The 6'5 junior leads the team in scoring (nearly 20 PPG), rebounding (over 6 per game), and assists (nearly 5 per game). Not to mention, he's very efficient, shooting 50% from the field on the year and over 85% from the free throw line. He's truly a special talent, one of the best Davidson has had in years. The third leading scorer is the Wildcats' freshman post, Austrian Luka Brajkovic. He's stepped right in, and has helped fill the void left by Peyton Aldridge. Brajkovic is also the team's second leading rebounder at nearly 6 a game. RS Freshman wing Luke Frampton (who missed all of last year with injury) is the team's 3rd white starter, and can really light it up from outside. Off the bench, Davidson has a couple of white players who get in: forward Dusan Kovacevic, guard David Czerapowicz and forward Bates Jones. If you get a chance, give Davidson a watch; you'll be glad they did!

Too bad Butler lost on a last second heave by Indiana yesterday. Rising sophomore F Sean McDermott had 20 and nailed five three pointers.

Tyler Herro scored 17 in a Kentucky win. His outside shot hasn't been falling but he has terrific form so only a matter of time.

Two other players who have lit it up their past two games are Creighton sophomore Mitch Ballock (23 and 19 pts) and DePaul senior Max Strus (27 and 34--career high). Strus is averaging over 20 points a game!

Here are a few results from the last few days:

Saturday: I usually don't like going back this far, but there is one game that nobody has talked about: Belmont and their 4/5 white starting lineup upsetting affletic and "talent-laden" UCLA in Los Angeles. Dylan Windler had 12 points and 15 boards, while Grayson Murphy had 12 points, 7 assists, and 5 boards in the winning effort. The Bruins are a VERY dangerous and complete team, given the results they've gotten so far. Belmont is currently 9-1, and have what should be a fun game to watch against Purdue on Saturday. I can only hope they beat media favorite Murray State in the OVC this year. All-black Murray State has a PG the media salivates over, and no doubt they will be branded as "more athletic" than Belmont. Despite this, the Racers have one loss to a down Alabama squad this year, and have had some close calls against a far-weaker schedule than the Bruins.

Speaking of Belmont, they also topped media darling Western Kentucky (they love an upsider freshman the all-black Hilltoppers have this year). The Bruins raced out to a 19-point lead before having to hold on by 6 in the end. In that game, Windler had 20 points and 11 boards, while Grayson Murphy had 20 points and 4 assists.

Sunday:

Due to injuries, Boston College was forced to turn to a freshman walk-on against Fairfield. This is no ordinary freshman walk-on. His name is Chris Herren Jr., the son of former NBA player Chris Herren. He has been playing well enough, and was placed in the starting lineup against Fairfield due to injury. Herren delivered, leading the Eagles with 22 pionts and 4 rebounds on 8-13 from the floor! Herren, Jr. has started the past two games for BC, and if he keeps getting minutes, I'll have to make it a point to watch him. He's played well enough, that coach Jim Christian has given him a scholarship! Granted, he shouldn't have had to walk on, but hey, better late than never, right? I'm thinking Herren will be one to keep our eyes on, especially considering his bloodlines.

Monday:

Although Davidson lost a close game to Wake Forest, 67-63, Jon Axel Gudmundsson and Luka Brajkovic played outstanding. Gudmundsson had 21 points and 6 assists (to just 3 TOs), while Brajkovic had 19 points and 14 boards. Not bad for two athletically inferior players playing against the superior athletes from Wake Forest.

Oregon State knocked off all-black Pepperdine (there is NO way this school should have white players getting a grand total of 7 minutes of game action...). Tres Tinkle had 21 points, 7 assists, and 5 boards, while Kylor Kelley had 10 points and 9 boards. I hope the Beavers improve soon; the Pac-12 is down and likely won't be getting many bids. This could be the year a team like the Beavers could storm through the Pac-12 if they are able to gt it together.

Tuesday:

Butler's Joey Brunk had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench in a closer than expected game against Presbyterian.

Creighton's Martin Krampelj had 19 points, 10 boards and 2 assists in the Blue Jay's losing effort against Oklahoma. Brady Manek led the Sooners with 18 points and 5 boards in just 17 minutes of action. Gee, you think you should play the guy scoring that much a little more?

South Dakota State's Mike Daum put on another clinic, with 27 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Eastern Washington.

Wednesday:

Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy led the Cavaliers to a double digit victory over South Carolina. Jerome had 25 points, 7 assists and 6 boards, while Guy had 18 points.

NC State (starts two pale faces) knocked off all-black Auburn. One of those white starters, combo guard Braxton Beverly, had 15 points in the win.

Thursday:

Purdue's Ryan Clin had 19 in a blowout win over Ohio.

Notre Dame's Dane Goodwin tied for the team lead in scoring with 19 points to go with 5 rebounds and 3 assists in a win over Jacksonville. John Mooney had 16 and 7 as well. Goodwin will have to step up, since senior captain Rex Pflueger was lost to a torn ACL last Saturday against Purdue. It's a shame, and very sad to see; I hope he's able to get a medical redshirt.

Friday:

Gonzaga's Corey Kispert had 13 points and 4 boards in an easy Zags' win over a cupcake.

Marquette's Markus Howard (their star black player) actually managed to take over a game, getting 45 points. Lost in this admittedly great outburst in the second half was that while he was sitting on the bench in foul trouble, Sam and Joey Hauser kept the Golden Eagles in the game. Sam finished with 18 points and 5 boards, while Joey finished with 11 and 9. Joseph Chartouny came off the bench for 11 points.

Butler's Paul Jorgensen returned to form after a couple of off games for him, leading the Bulldogs with a game-high 19 points and a team-high 7 rebounds. Of note, freshman forward Bryce Golden saw his first action of the year today as well. This gives them another white player to add to their rotation. The Bulldogs beat a good UC Irvine team, and in something "amazing," their 3/5 white lineup plays some really good defense when they are engaged! Who'd have thunk a team burdened by a majority white lineup could possibly play defense?

Oregon's Payton Pritchard scored a team-high 14 points in an ugly loss to Baylor. I guess playing with a bunch of upside-laden talent isn't all it's cracked up to be. On the other side, lead guard Makai Mason matched Pritchard with 14 points of his own, good for the Bears' high scorer.

Aside from hiccups against Purdue and Belmont (twice), the Lipscomb Bisons simply keep on rolling. Tonight's victim was Vermont, who was destroyed by Lipscomb 91-66. Garrison Mathews and Rob Marberry led the way with 22 and 21 points, respectively.

A few odds and ends. As for Rex Pflueger his ACL tear is unfortunate. While he was having his best season so far he was still only averaging 8 points a game. An excellent defender and terrific athlete with hops over 40 inches I envisioned a much better career for Rex. He was never considered a top 50 recruit but he was listed anywhere between 75 and 125. There were even some NBA rumblings early on but as it happens to some players he never advanced his game enough to warrant NBA attention. He does have the option of returning to Notre Dame for a RS senior season.

Max Strus of DePaul has been on a three game tear. He is a senior but if he keeps it up he could get second round consideration. Strus has a 40 inch vertical and is an exciting athlete.

I watched both the Marquette and some of the Baylor games last night. I think younger brother Joey is a better long term prospect than his brother Sam. Both are good college players.

Then for Baylor (see post above) ex Yale PG Makai Mason has finally resurfaced after years in the injury wilderness. Still battling rust he looks to be gaining some of his old form slowly but surely. Once considered an NBA prospect lets hope his play continues to improve in leaps and bounds. He had a nifty late driving lay up last night that sealed the deal against Oregon.

Two players that come off the bench for caste heavy top teams are worth a mention. Why throw the baby out with the bathwater?

C/PF Filip Petrusev of Gonzaga has been very efficient this year in his limited minutes. Expect big things from him in the future.

Also Duke's PF Jack White is tied for second on Duke in rebounds with 6.8 and he is averaging 7.2 points a game in under 25 minutes. He is a sophomore and is outplaying Reddish, one of the hyped freshman. He can really snatch rebounds and can do a lot of things. I wish Alex O'Connell played more but hopefully he will truly bloom next season.

And finally wow Chris Herren Jr. for BC. Thanks JL I was unaware. In fact Herren was a 2019 recruit who reclassified.

I was a huge fan of his dad Chris. See below an SI article (2-9-98). After several false starts( I remember him injuring his hand right off the bat at BC) it seemed like the world was his for that bright shining moment. The rest of his story is well known and serves as a cautionary piece for young budding star athletes.

Elsewhere KY beat NC as Tyler Herro put up a hard earned 15. Still hasn't found his stroke but he has perfect form. Needs to relax.

And I got a good look at DePaul's Max Strus and Chris Herren Jr. of BC. BC won and Max was cold from the field. He did have one vicious baseline dunk and was all over the place nabbing 9 boards and dishing out four assists.

Even with an off game he has the talent to get drafted. Rough around the edges but he is a whirling dervish out there. No wonder they call him Mad Max. Great nickname for his wild style of play. I could see him coming off an NBA bench for added excitement.

Speaking of excitement. Mac McClung of Georgetown went off in an overtime victory scoring 38 points. See below a few snippets of highlights. He is already becoming a beloved figure in the DC area.

I was just about to post this same video. Matt McClung is like the young kids say "LIT". Sensational performance. So what do all of his haters and critics say now? I have no doubt that he can
play in the nba and succeed at the highest level of basketball. The big question is will he be one and done? I'm ok with him turning pro after his freshman year but I would prefer for him to play
2 years of college to continue to improve his fundamentals. It can only help at the next level. If he goes to the nba and they sit him I wlll be furious! He is too popular with all kids of every race.

I want to see him become a perinial all star, win some rings and also win the dunk and 3 pt contest in the same weekend. That would be epic!

Utah State just maybe the whitest team in D1 basketball, if not they surely are out of the power-5 schools and the few just below (Big East, MWest, AAC). The Aggies start 4 whites and another 3 coming off the bench to round out the rotation.

There leading scorer and best player is Jr. G Sam Merrill 6'5 205 who avgs 19 pts 4 assts and 4 rbs. Merrill was 3rd team all-MW last year, and he's easily surpassed that as he may be the best player in the whole MW this year. The 2nd top scorer is Sr. F/C Quinn Taylor at 6'8 240 is a bit undersized but gets the job done with brute strength avg. 9 pts and 6 rpg, and right behind him is Fr. G/F Brock Miller 6'6 200 avg 7.8 pts and 2 rpg. Also its cool to see former Celtic great Danny Ainge's son starting in So. PG Crew Ainge, 6'0 180 steadily increasing his avgs of 4.2 ppg and 2.4 apg!

The rotation guys off the bench are lead by Jr. G Diogo Brito 6'5 205 who hails from Portugal to avg 7 pts and 4 rpg. Finally Fr. SF Justin Bean 6'7 210 avg. 5 ppg, and So. G Abel Porter 6'3 185 is the back-up PG.

I hope Mac McClung is finally ready to play at noon today as Georgetown plays Providence on TV. McClung has been dealing with an ankle injury and has been out several games. He got injured right after his 38 point explosion. Dammit to hell bad breaks are the last thing we need here at CF.

Last night Wisconsin's Ethan Happ (31-13) put on a show but they lost to Purdue in overtime.

Happ looks springier and livelier than ever but his game is a curious one. I think he can play in the NBA because he has ultra moves around the basket and can go get rebounds. Not a bad passer either.

On the other hand he has little range on his shot and for some damn reason can't hit free throws.

Not the athletic stiff the media likes to paint him as but to be fair he isn't a well rounded player either. Still I was impressed by his energy. I think staying all four years will boost his stock. Learn to shoot free throws young man.

The Zion Williamson media love affair is sickening of course. Horror show caste clowns Dick Vitale and Jay Bilas are already lining up for dates. Hope this bouncy fat media star blows out a knee and it can't happen soon enough.

Two whitish teams Michigan and Virginia are still undefeated. Kyle Guy has been superb of late. A real treat to watch. Plus he got rid of his "man bun." Extra points for that too. Ha.

What excites me most about this kid is that he is a Russell Westbrook type point guard/shooting guard that can dribble, shoot, pass, defend, lead a team and can also jump out of the gym. He is one of the most athletic kids I've ever seen of any color. His vertical is between 42 and 48 inches depending on what article you read. It may even be 50 inches. He has short arms but a very powerful build. Matt McClung is beyond explosive. Now that he is shooting good again he is impossible to guard. He dropped 16 & 6 in 27 minutes. Could have been alot bigger game but coming off the injury Coach Ewing limited his minutes. Smart move. Ease him back into shape after missing 4 games with a badly sprained ankle. Regardless the kid will be a superstar and a household name! Love watching him play!

What a scene in DC. I watched the game and all hope looked lost until McClung hit an improbable three pointer to send the game into overtime. I still don't know how Georgetown pulled it out but Patrick Ewing looked like he had been through the ringer by the end of that double OT thriller.

Nice bounce back game for McClung. He is a ball of fun to watch. Only thing missing in this game was one of his highlight reel dunks.

As for Dick Vitale, probably the father of caste, his performance this season would make NAZI propaganda ministers proud. His over the top hysteria regarding the "superman" qualities of black players is so out of line he should be locked up for hate speech. This man has damaged the white psyche more than anyone I can think of and he has gotten worse. His platform is simple. Elevate black players to the point where he leaves no doubt that blacks are "the superior race."

The man is an ******* from hell. His love affair with the Duke freshman is beyond the bounds of normal enthusiasm. It is a well thought out agenda. One he has been pursuing and fortifying for ages now. ESPN is the real culprit here allowing this vermin to spew his racial caste driven garbage. One of his favorite tricks is to play up the NBA potential of black players. I wonder does he get an agent cut on these guys when they sign?

Problem is his replacement, the fraudulent Jay Bilas, isn't much better. Bilas has been "crying" that college basketball players ( read black) don't get paid. Yet when talking about Trevor Lawrence all he could muster is the kid has to play by the rules and shouldn't be allowed to turn pro. Hypocrite with an agenda.

Next Saturday unbeaten Virginia visits Duke.

Notes from three games yesterday.

Michigan State normally starts two white players, athletic senior Kyle Ahrens who has been dealing with nagging injuries and senior G Matt McQuaid. Coming off the bench is freshman PG Foster Loyer. While none of the above are seen as future NBA players McQuaid is playing his best basketball this season. A top 100 recruit back when McQuaid is a nice athlete who had been known for his three point shooting. He has never exploded in his time at Michigan State but his game has become much more versatile. The consummate role player, McQuaid is a heady player who has also become one of the best defenders in the country. This is a good team and should be a contender come March.

Michigan of course like Virginia is still undefeated and freshman G/F Ignas Brazdelkis, as discussed above, is one of the best freshman in the country. Plays with a lot of grit and moxie. He has some NBA potential even though he is older than most freshman because he attended a prep school. Michigan is also having a break out year ( also mentioned above) from junior C Jon Teske. Another team to keep an eye on in March obviously.

Then to reply to the post above Oregon State beat all black UCLA last night and F Tres Tinkle, the coach's son, is having a great season. He might have NBA potential but he gets injured an awful lot. Just a junior. But the big surprise from last night's game was their C junior transfer Kylor Kelley. I don't think he has been mentioned here at CF. The athletic C Drew Eubanks foolishly declared for the NBA draft which allowed them to squeeze Kelley into the roster.

Originally from a small HS, Kelley didn't come from a well to do family and has struggled with academics and health issues primarily centered around dental issues. After bouncing around for a while he attended a junior college and now is getting his big chance at a major university. While raw as can be offensively Kelley went 6-6 from the field last night but what stands out most is his bouncy athleticism. A fluid explosive skinny player Kelley currently leads the country in blocked shots. What a pleasant find. He really is a big time rim protector at 7'0" although he moves like a much smaller player. I will be watching his progression with great interest.

Nice write up Shadowlight! I caught some of that Oregon State vs UCLA Game last night and Kelley had 2 big time dunks back to back! Another to keep an eye on, sounds like a true underdog, good to see him emerge.

I caught the last ten minutes plus OT of the very strange Duke Syracuse game last night where Syracuse stunned number one rated Duke who was playing at home no less, a place where they have been invincible against unranked opponents.

The media line is that without "star" freshmen Tre Jones, who left due to an injury, and Cam Reddish who was out sick, Duke was undermanned having to play their two white "non stars" Jack White and Alex O'Connell season high minutes.

Jack White has played extremely well up until the last few games where he has slumped from the field. Last night he was an ugly 0-10 from three point land.

But that is only half of the story. Star R. J. Barrett had a nice stat line of over 20 points and 16 rebounds and some assists but he was also a dismal 8-30 from the field including I believe 4-17 from three point land.

The new black media "god" Zion Williamson had a huge stat game and was much more efficient from the field although he too couldn't hit from deep going 1-5 from three point land.

Only back up Alex O'Connell was proficient from deep going 4-8 from three point land and scoring a career high 16 points.

The Syracuse shooting figures weren't much better as the leading scorers had 12-28 and 5-16 shooting stat lines.

But the "modern" day look of what the NBA is made out of was apparent in this game. Throwing out the strange Jack White night, much like the NBA, black players take the bulk of the shots.

In fact and I should post this in the NBA thread, if you look over shot attempts per game most all of the leaders are black players. And it is very rare to have a non big man white figure in on shot attempts in the top 100!!

Yes blacks have wrested control of basketball by being the primary unquestioned ball hogs. The other half of that story is you have teams laden with black scorers whose teams are either average or stink. But the black shooting stars are still publicized to the max.

Barrett who is near the top in field goal attempts has a blah .447 shooting percentage and an even worse .317 from three.

Williamson has a hefty .662 % but his three point % is a dismal .273. He looks like someone who will never be consistent from deep.

Cam Reddish billed as a great shooter is sitting at a .382 % and .358 from three. Tre Jones is a paltry .286 from three, bad numbers for a point guard despite his highly regarded game management etc.

Alex O'Connell is their "best" shooter with a .381 % from three in limited time. Alex has had the thankless job of filling in sporadically all season where it is nearly impossible to get comfortable.

So when you look into the impressive scoring numbers of so many black players you find the common thread among the majority is they hoist up shots the way International House of Pancakes churns out waffles. Shooting percentages be damned.

Georgetown is on TV tonight against Marquette, a fairly white friendly team albeit with a black ball hog supreme. However my main focus will be on Mac McClung, the freshman dynamo who can jump out of the gym. It is at Georgetown so expect a wild crowd.

Wisconsin with an upset of Michigan ! Ethan Happ once again does it all. 26pts 10reb 7reb and 2steals! Brad Davison chipped in 8 and Nate Reuvers 9.



For Michigan 7'1 Center John Teske lead the way with 15pts 7reb and a couple of blocks. Freshman sensation Brazdeikis was held scoreless.

I saw that Wisconsin game. It was a madhouse and Happ took over. During the game they were ruminating on the NBA potential guys and skipped over Happ like a bad lunch. He is limited (no shooting range and bad free throw shooter) but as an off the bench NBA energy player why not? Great low post moves, can rebound and can pass.

Iggy of Michigan had a tough game. Michigan was all out of sorts.

But to me perhaps one of the bigger NBA talents in the game was Wisconsin sophomore Nate Reuvers. Had an awesome block and finished the game with a runaway massive dunk. And he can shoot threes like a guard. If he proceeds to develop look out.

Also maybe a Gordon Hayward ( slightly smaller version) clone sighting. Iowa freshman Joe Wieskamp , mentioned here before, is a very smooth 6'4" SG who hit all six of his three point attempts Sunday. Iowa looks like a dangerous team come tournament time.

Kentucky guard Tyler Herro took over their tough away game against Auburn nailing clutch shots and finishing with 20. He is the best white freshman I have seen play this season. Vitale who I literally can't stand was doing the game and kept referencing another freshman when he brought up Herro as if the youngster doesn't deserve the spotlight all by himself. ESPN renewed Vitale's contract so the caste clown from hell will be ruining lives for at least several more years. This guy must dream of black players at night. Belongs in a damn funny farm.

Also want to add even though Notre Dame's athletic Rex Pflueger is out for the year (ACL) junior PF John Mooney has been scoring and rebounding in bunches of late. Another freshman who is just starting to emerge is G Dane Goodwin. Nice skill set. A real basketball player. Not just some goof ball who runs and jumps. Plfueger by the way will get a medical redshirt and will play his "5th" season next year. I also like the Notre Dame HC Mike Brey. A lighthearted fun guy who is also an excellent coach.

Happ as you mentioned has his problems. But again agreed, he should be DRAFTED! He's 6'10, great handles, great passer. Underrated defender. Averages a block and 2 steals a game in his career.

Reuvers has really solidified Wisconsin. He's a presence Defensively (as seen against Iggy). Has nice all around game on offense. He's grown a lot(literally added 25lbs) since being thrust into starting role as a True Freshman last year. That breakaway dunk on the assist from Happ was suhweet!

Still mad Tyler Herro ditched his homestate, though it seems like he made the right choice playing in a more fast paced system at Big Blue. Glad to see him pick up his scoring. He's due for a Great Spring.

Wieskamp is indeed a young gun to keep an eye on. I like that he's another wing prospect with potential. Mooney has been reminiscent of Harangody! It's a shame Pfluegger never developed as a scorer, glad hell be back next year.

Marquette's Sam Hauser has had a great year playing 2nd fiddle to their Star ballhog in Howard. Hauser scored 25pts and 7reb in Golden Eagles last outing.

On Wednesday Wisconsin won again against affletic Illinois. Nate Reuvers scored a career high 22pts and 10reb. Ethan Happ had an off game but still recorded 9pts, 9reb, and 6assists. Davison chipped in 12pts.

Brazdeikis bounced back nicely from Badger loss with 18pts and 11reb in a win against Minnesota on Tuesday.

Teske also scored 15pts, 5reb, and 3 blocks!
