Appreciate all the post here in the Class of ' 22! Wow Bucky 28 TD's & ZERO INT's = Impressive!

RB/LB 6'-0 212lbs Braydon Johnson Ponchatoula LA...is Under rated...But Under the Radar no more ! ((Listed as a RB)) Early in the season he was only recruited by FCS State schools (Nicholls; NW La); then Tulane offered later in the season; Now he's tearing in the Playoffs LSU just OFFERED him! Swiss-Army-Knife....getting a comparison to Jacob Hester on a msg board; who was a ONLY a 2 star recruit originally committed to Texas; but ended up a star on LSU's '07 National Championship Team!
A 5 Star DB team mate had been getting all of the attention ; but he may not even be the best player on the team w Johnson emerging!

Check this crazy play @ LB

TD Runs of 75 & 80 yards in the playoffs

Suhweet! Johnson next Jacob Hester? That's exciting.

* Also Male HS and QB Nic Schutte lost in the State Championship to St. Xavier a Catholic Team from Louisville. Pretty white friendly as well. Really rough week for Schutte as his dad passed away unexpectedly the week before Championship Game..

Here's a talented LB Wisconsin was able to get from Seattle in Austin Harnetiaux. 6'3 220, 150tackles his Sr year and Badgers snag him as a Walk-On. Had offers from Eastern Washington, Harvard, Georgetown, Dartmouth, Central Washington, Army, and Air Force. Pathetic West Coast teams like: Oregon State, Wazzou, Washington, Boise State, etc ignored this kid. I have a good feeling he'll be on scholarship within a year.

Looks like New OU HC Brent Venables was able to flip the fastest LB in The Country! Jaren Kanak will be heading to Norman. 6'2 210lbs 10.37 100 meter speed, ridiculous.

Some sad news from high school football. Robbie Roper a 6'4" 215 dual-threat QB from Georgia passed away this week after having shoulder surgery this week. He was Georgia's 5-7 A Region player of the year. He was 18 yrs old.

Watched a little of the US Army HS All-American game, very little, this afternoon. However, I did see QB and Clemson signee Cade Klubnik throw a couple of passes to a white WR named Landon Samson out of Dallas Carroll HS in TX. Klubnik had 3 TD passes including one to Samson. I looked Samson up and he has 4.4 speed and has signed to play at South Carolina. I didn't know if he's been mentioned here yet. Someone to watch in the future. Hopefully?

Landon Samson. That's a new name to me. Will have to watch a few South Carolina Gamecock Games. It shows the caste system. How does a white wide receiver who is
playing in the All American Game not get recruited more? We all know the answer to that question.

Red Raider mentioned him this summer....I saw him on TV at the beginning of the season while noticing his running back teammate who was doing well.....The RB had no offers at the time. I’m going to do some research to see if the kid moved in the right direction....

Owen Allen is the back I was referring to.....
Still no offers. He had 2000 yards rushing for an A+ team...
Little interest.

According to 24/7 Sports Samson held offers from Nebraska, Baylor, Arkansas ST., Boise St., Colorado, Duke, Louisiana, Memphis, Nevada, North Texas, SMU, TCU, UCF, UTSA, W. Kentucky, and Yale. ......and of course, South Carolina. Who knows why he chose USC. Spencer Rattler transferring there won' help him much.
Anyway, best of luck to this young man. I should get to see him quite often.

He's in the 2023 class, so there's still time. I looked up his 40. It said 4.69 was his best. That could be hurting him some, because he's not a big RB at 5'10, 190. As we know if he were black that wouldn't matter. We've seen black RB's with 4.7+ 40 times get D-1 offers.
His shuttle time was 4.15. Not bad.

I'm shocked to hear that. I was wrong to assume but our guys get shafted all the time no matter what their 40 times or their stats. Good to see alot of teams intersted
in the kid. It's not common for our guys to get much attention as you know. Hope it works out for Samson at South Carolina.

Regarding Allen, Agreed 4.6 speed paired with that agility. As a Black back, well we all know the deal.

Samson sounds like a stud! Though not thrilled about South Carolina's QB situation. I remember RR and Rocky mentioning him Earlier.

So was I WL. Shocked! However, it's difficult to ignore 4.4 speed no matter the color. As you've said it speaks to the caste system. White players have to be the best in all positions. He had those offers because of the time. He was probably the best at every combine he participated in. There's no room for being fourth, third or even second best. Whitey has to be the best to get a look. I mentioned Braxton Berrios in an earlier thread. I watched him at HS combines. He was always the best and received the WR MVP award every time.

Clemson has received a verbal commitment from 2022 WR Cole Turner.
Turner (6'2/178) had just two offers on his profile according to 247Sports.com, with those offers coming from Clemson and Buffalo. Turner is the rare zero-star prospect to receive an offer from Clemson, which may be thanks in part to the success that his brother Nolan Turner had at the university from 2017-2021. The younger of the Turner brothers, Cole reportedly possesses 4.42 40-yard dash speed, and has a chance to see multiple roles on the field if he is ever able to crack the team's depth chart.

Great news. How can he have so little interest with that kind of speed and athletecism? Oh I forgot he is white. He may just get a chance to play at Clemson as it's
one of only 5 or 10 schools that don't disriminate against whites for the most part. This is exciting. Hope he can show off in spring scrimmages.

Anybody out there like tall cornerbacks that play for Cincinnati? Bearcats signee
Oliver Bridges
measured in at 6-foot-2 and has good enough speed (4.6 40-yard dash) to be a real problem for receivers at the next level. He can play physically with receivers and knows how to use his length and short-area quickness to match up with receivers that rely on their speed. Oliver has shown pretty good instincts throughout his high school career and it will be interesting to see how he develops in Luke Fickell's defense. - Adam Friedman, National Recruiting Analyst

Must be nice to be Black. 6'2 CB with4.6 speed is considered a future 1st Rd pick, well because dat upside!

Kurt Warner is letting his son commit to Temple in Filthadelphia.

https://247sports.com/Article/2022-quarterback-Elijah-Warner-commits-to-Temple-Owls-181600749/

WR Coy Eakin had 2,000 yards receiving in Texas HS Football. TCU wanted him as a Safety though. Texas Tech should be a much better landing spot. Good size at 6'3 185.

Here's another talented Wideout, this time from Iowa. Cole Filloon is 6'2 200lbs and has committed to Northern Iowa. Turned down a PWO from Iowa.

Interesting, he’s 5’9” 170 lbs out of Heritage Hall in OKC. Same high school as Wes Welker. Oklahoma had no interest in Wes.

With his height I'm actually suprised he went to a bigger school. Very happy to see it though as if you can play it doesn't matter your height.
