Lol no kidding, though I do think Clemson is a great place to end up.

Appreciate all the post here in the Class of ' 22! Wow Bucky 28 TD's & ZERO INT's = Impressive!
RB/LB 6'-0 212lbs Braydon Johnson Ponchatoula LA...is Under rated...But Under the Radar no more ! ((Listed as a RB)) Early in the season he was only recruited by FCS State schools (Nicholls; NW La); then Tulane offered later in the season; Now he's tearing in the Playoffs LSU just OFFERED him! Swiss-Army-Knife....getting a comparison to Jacob Hester on a msg board; who was a ONLY a 2 star recruit originally committed to Texas; but ended up a star on LSU's '07 National Championship Team!
A 5 Star DB team mate had been getting all of the attention ; but he may not even be the best player on the team w Johnson emerging!
Check this crazy play @ LB

Landon Samson. That's a new name to me. Will have to watch a few South Carolina Gamecock Games. It shows the caste system. How does a white wide receiver who is
playing in the All American Game not get recruited more? We all know the answer to that question.[/QUOTE
Red Raider mentioned him this summer....I saw him on TV at the beginning of the season while noticing his running back teammate who was doing well.....The RB had no offers at the time. I’m going to do some research to see if the kid moved in the right direction....
According to 24/7 Sports Samson held offers from Nebraska, Baylor, Arkansas ST., Boise St., Colorado, Duke, Louisiana, Memphis, Nevada, North Texas, SMU, TCU, UCF, UTSA, W. Kentucky, and Yale. ......and of course, South Carolina. Who knows why he chose USC. Spencer Rattler transferring there won' help him much.Landon Samson. That's a new name to me. He's in the 2023 class, so there's still time. I looked up his 40. It said 4.69 was his best. That could be hurting him some, because he's not a big RB at 5'10, 190. As we know if he were black that wouldn't matter. We've seen black RB's with 4.7+ 40 times get D-1 offers.Owen Allen is the back I was referring to.....
Still no offers. He had 2000 yards rushing for an A+ team...
Little interest.

Anyway, best of luck to this young man. I should get to see him quite often.
So was I WL. Shocked! However, it's difficult to ignore 4.4 speed no matter the color. As you've said it speaks to the caste system. White players have to be the best in all positions. He had those offers because of the time. He was probably the best at every combine he participated in. There's no room for being fourth, third or even second best. Whitey has to be the best to get a look. I mentioned Braxton Berrios in an earlier thread. I watched him at HS combines. He was always the best and received the WR MVP award every time.I'm shocked to hear that. I was wrong to assume but our guys get shafted all the time no matter what their 40 times or their stats. Good to see alot of teams intersted
in the kid. It's not common for our guys to get much attention as you know. Hope it works out for Samson at South Carolina.
Clemson has received a verbal commitment from 2022 WR Cole Turner.
Turner (6'2/178) had just two offers on his profile according to 247Sports.com, with those offers coming from Clemson and Buffalo. Turner is the rare zero-star prospect to receive an offer from Clemson, which may be thanks in part to the success that his brother Nolan Turner had at the university from 2017-2021. The younger of the Turner brothers, Cole reportedly possesses 4.42 40-yard dash speed, and has a chance to see multiple roles on the field if he is ever able to crack the team's depth chart.
Interesting, he’s 5’9” 170 lbs out of Heritage Hall in OKC. Same high school as Wes Welker. Oklahoma had no interest in Wes.https://247sports.com/Player/Gavin-Freeman-46117994/
WR Gavin Freeman commits to Oklahoma. Venables a huge breath of fresh air so far for the Sooners.
