Just a quick glance at things but it seems this is the worst signing day ever. Almost no skill wide receivers going to any major college conference schools. I guess the end is closer than I thought. Basically the big time programs look like this. White kickers, O lineman , interior D lineman and drop back QB's and I guess ball boys. Makes me physically ill.

Jake Funk signed with Maryland as a RB. He had 2,650 yards and 57 TDs as a senior. The 57 TDs was a state record. He scored 7 TDs in the state championship game! According to their message board the program is excited to have him. Though he is "rated" below their other two RB recruits who are real athletes. Also the only two D1 programs that offered him a scholarship were MD and Wisconsin. Some of the posters on the message board were perplexed that he only had 2 D1 offers despite his eye-popping high school career. How could that have happened? Oh, wait, nevermind...

It's been like this for awhile, it's nothing new or earth shattering that caste template is being adhered to strictly.

Just an FYI, but I've found that 247sports.com is the best and easiest way to do research. If you click on a team, it will display all of their committed recruits and include a thumbnail image of their face. I'm guessing that about 95% of the time, they have an image. Rivals and Scout are tedious and often require you to create an account for additional access/info.

Northwestern had only a couple of walk on additions to their 2016 class, a long-snapper and a WR from Texas who looks (performance and size-wise) like a clone of Jeremy Ebert.

How this (White) player (6', 180lbs, 4.35/40) didn't receive a single offer is further proof of an entrenched and deliberate Caste system against White players.

Their recruits are from WV and the bordering states of OH and PA. There is obviously a huge amount of White football talent that is produced in OH and PA every year. WVU has a gold mine of talented White recruits if they would just tap into it. Maybe this year will be the beginning of a trend.

Well, Holgorsen better win at least 8 or 9 games this year, otherwise the trend will once again be for mining "coal"... just not the kind that's typically mined in West Virginia. The AD refused to give him a contract extension after he lost the final regular season game to K-State, so he has only one year left on his contract. The AD that hired him took a job with the NCAA. Holgorsen's on thin ice, unfortunately. Winning at least 8 games in the BIG 12 won't be easy.

Agree with both of you. Holgerson seems like a decent coach and recruiter. Any program should recruit its home state and surrounding states for talent first,it's a no brainer. Lets hope WVU has a good season. We could use a team to root for in the Dark Big 12!

On a side note I've been skimming recruiting lists the last few days and I've come across quite a few black athletes from Bellevue,Washington a rich suburb of Seattle. A quick Google search says the town of 100,000 people is only3% black yet I've seen about six or so black athletes from the town with D1 offers. So even in a white majority town by a HUGE margin no white boys recruited. Just shows how far the caste system will go to discover real affletes..

And he's from Texas! Great size, numbers ,production,etc. Northwestern got a steal! If guys like him Falk through the cracks of the fraudulent recruiting system how do guys from smaller states even stand a chance?!
