Despite of his withdraw for the Diamond League meeting in Stockholm, Christophe Lemaitre keeps his spirits up. This week, he worked on the swimming-pool for his physiotherapy. He had decided to stop train on the track until Monday, doing only weight training and jogging.
« Monday, I will train again on the track, says Christophe. I’ll seek to make gradual progress and we’ll see how will react the muscle. I don’t know when I’ll can go fast but I keep my spirits up. I always think I can be in good shape for the world championships if I still work hard. »
And Christophe remembers when he was junior world champion in 2008. His préparation was upset because of adductor muscles problem. But he won the 200 m.
« I do my utmost for medical care. If it’s not okay for the world championships, it means it was impossible, explains Christophe. I have twenty days before the world championships. We’ll work hard and we’ll get the resources to succeed. »
