To make the HOF CMAC needs to be on a Super Bowl winner and have a big game in it.

I assume you are saying this because of his relatively low total rushing yards (due to his injured seasons)?
If I recall, he is 3rd all-time in average yards from scrimmage per game. He just needs a few more years of very good production. I think he has it in him.
A Super Bowl would be nice, but it isn’t much of a factor for a running back.

CMAC might well make it without a Super Bowl, but it would take longer after he retires.

McCaffrey is a finalist for MVP, along with Offensive Player of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year.

Not to beat a dead horse, but the chorus of calls/articles to have McCaffrey move to the racially approved Slot WR position is happening again.
Right after he rushed for 1200 yards and caught another 900 yards to go with 17 combined TDs and being named a finalist for OPoY and MVP.

Just read another one… Operation Mockingbird is in full swing. CMC has now made three different All Pro teams, as well as being a finalist for both OPoY and MVP (only non-QB), and yet article after article keeps saying how the 49ers need to replace him as the primary running back or at least give another back double-digit rushing attempts per game.
Nothing about improving the offensive line. Nothing about securing wide receivers who put in blocking efforts.
Nothing about better play-calling.
Nope, all about phasing CMC out. Or outright trading an All Pro player.
