It's very possible that McCaffrey could be leading the NFL in rushing at the end of week three. When is the last time a white RB led the NFL in rushing yards?
Some one please put up a highlight of CM stiff arming the Bengal LB to the ground on one of his long runs?

McCaffrey is actually 2nd right now to Matt Breida by 3(!) yards, 274-271.

Dam Hillis had exactly 184 ha!

If he avoids injury his pass catching ability plus KR and PR skills will mean he is looking at at least a solid 10 year career far above the average for the RB position.

Also gained some size without the loss of speed https://247sports.com/nfl/carolina-...ds-of-muscle-during-2018-offseason-118519848/

I bet he could even block now if you asked him to and I know he has thrown a few passes from time to time could very well become the best non QB on offense.

His QB is sCam Newton, I’m sure Caff would be the most accurate passer on the Panthers starting offense including the QB.

Link, CM does his fair share of blocking every game. I did read on a panthers chat site where the negroes are complaining that he had too many runs and needed more passes his way and say CJ Anderson should have had more touches. Well Anderson got a td whereas CM was virtually ignored inside the 5yd line so Scam could get his glory. I personally think Scam is terrified in having CM in his backfield as CM is an elite allstar RB and Scam is a average to poor qb.

Not sure if anyone caught this segment today, but credit to these men for utilizing their platform to bring awareness to the racial slotting that takes place at the youth level.

After another monster night, that could have been even bigger if 2nd half usage didn’t wain, McCaffrey went over 1,000 total yards on the season!

With 7 games remaining, CMac would need to average 60 yards rushing per game to reach the elusive 1,000 rushing mark for a white running back. Out of those remaining games, 4 are against team’s with top 10 worst run defenses: Detroit, Tampa Bay, Cleveland and Atlanta.

Caff on track for 219 carries, 1030 rush yards, 9 rush TDs, 96 receptions, receiving 781 yards, 7 receiving TDs

Hopefully he keeps this pace up!

Good find.

Reading Slay’s Ebonics laden buffoonery was hard though. Seeing his verbal talents shows he’s got a room temperature IQ at best.

This country is afraid to teach English in high school......
Lots of inner city kids graduate without their teachers correcting them through the years.
This is Jim Crow in effect. Thick ignorance that I wish would be corrected....
This should be squashed in elementary school, but it isn’t....
Teachers will be called racist if they correct kids grammar..,
What that is???
What you had said??
They know who they daddy is (be).
Not putting an s at the end of a lot of words.
Ignorance is ignorance, let’s clean it up...Not because I’m an A-hole racist,
because it’s for the good of all.....We have been dumbing this country down for years.

Agreed. If we are forced to live with these people, they should at minimum be forced to speak the language properly. Sadly, our people’s will has been broken so badly that this is a pipe dream in the current year.

the high quality posts, intelligence, and observations of the posters on CF never ceases to impress me. case in point: the use of Christian McCaffrey as a decoy, as has been noted by several posters.

i read this article yesterday which quantified our purely laymen observations:
http://amp.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article221598590.html

to save you the read, i’ll summarize. CMac has the highest percentage of on-field play of any top tailback, at just over 96% of his team’s offensive snaps which blows away everyone else on the list. strangely, however, his usage rate (touches per snap played) is the second lowest of any of those same backs, at just over 32%.

still, he’s the team leader in carries and receptions and is on track to shatter the team record for yards from scrimmage this season. it’d be nice to see what his numbers would be if he got more touches, though.

Thank you JC for this article. It just seems they don't always use CM to best of his ability. Like today, he did get 13 carries, Barkley Giants 27 carries, but I'm surprised he averaged 4.1 yards. He ran one play outside, no sweeps and everything play action up the middle or just plain old up the middle. They rarely try and get him in space during crucial parts of the game. And to the point of the article. He received barely two touches on the first series of plays. Getting four yards on the first play of the game and one more at the end of the series running for two yards straight up the middle for 2 yards.

I'm just echoing your statement, what could he do if not only getting a few more touches, but at the right time during the game.
Still having a great year!

While there's certainly room for improvement in the way McCaffrey's coaches use him, overall I'm happy with the numbers he's putting up. Thank God it's nothing like the Toby Gerhart fiasco in Jacksonville, where Gerhart was basically set up to fail.

What was the main issue with Toby ? I wasn't following the league much at that time but I always wondered what happened given how good he was at Stanford

Toby was outstanding in his 4 years in Minnesota averaging 4.7 ypc but he was barely used as Adrian Peterson insisted on getting all the carries. Jacksonville sucked - all RBs had a low ypc there. Toby got injured in his first game but played the rest of the season (a mistake) behind a terrible offense without being 100%. His YPC plummeted. The next year he had limited use again and then was never on another roster. He ended his career barely used and unwanted with a 4.2 career ypc - not bad for a power back who spent 2 years on the worst offense in football.

McCaffrey is limited in the passing game by Scam being the absolute worst short passer in NFL history. Combine that with a vanilla read option up the gut running play 90% of the time and it's amazing he is averaging over 4 ypc. We have to hope Scam gets hurt and they replace that horrible offense with fullback lead blocker rushing attack and quarterback who can make a 5 yard throw.

here's an article on McCaffrey with Lions' Slay:

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/sport...s-darius-slay-christian-mccaffrey/2023932002/

"I just never saw a white guy do it like that," Slay said. "He goes ham out there and like he plays on an elite level at the running back. (Most) white running backs (are known for) running folks over, he be out there shaking them and doing all what he needs to do, and catch it in the air. So he’s special. He’s special."

"Great at it and can run between the tackles. Great guy. Great speed. Great vision. He’s very talented, man, at a young age. For him to be young with a lot on his shoulders, he handles it pretty well, so it’s exciting to watch him on film. I like watching him. Smooth."

Glad Slay thinks CMac goes "HAM". In the negro community that translates to "hard as ************".

Bunch of idiots! Blacks hace such a superiority complex when it comes to sports, it's ridiculous. Years of pampering and being told they're the best no matter what must hurt when it doesn't always stand true.

Thank you for translating HAM from ebonics to English. I would have had no idea.
