Now the K-State kicker misses a 25-yard chip-shot to tie the game :icon_mad:.

I think it's time for Kyle Padron to get another chance to play. He started last year, almost 4,000 yards passing 31 tds 14 interceptions. McDermott outplayed him for most of the season but last week he was terrible with 2 picks and 50 percent completion ratio, this week even worse, 3 picks already going into the half, completing 40 percent of his passes.

Line has 40 yards on 10 carries, great considering the circumstances he has been running under.

Kelly has replaced Thomas with Bennett at QB to start the second half for Oregon, because of performance (or lack thereof) reasons. Bennett then quickly led the Ducks on a long drive ending with a nice pass for a TD. Even the announcers praised the move and said Bennett was "gooooood".

"Next Big Thing" Robert Griffin has been picked off twice and held to 2.4 yards/carry, and "Dynamic" Baylor Bears offense was skunked in the first half versus Oklahoma State.

Scratch another black quarterback off the Heisman list.

Just when it looks like Zach Line will have a slow day he has some break out plays, first a shovel pass turned in for 23 yards then and a big rush 17 yards for his 14th td of the season which ties him for 3rd in SMU history, right there with Doak Walker. Now has 68 yards rushing on 12 rushes and 1 reception for 23 yards.

There's nothing that Cam Newton ever did on a football field that G.J. Kinne doesn't do better.
But will Kinne be drafted #1?

Wow, Minnesota on their way to beat Iowa, 22-21. McGloin leads Penn St on a 80-yard TD drive to go up 10-7 over Illinois late in the 4th.

I don't think Kinne is that close to being on Cam's level as far as running but his talent level isn't that far off. He is just as efficient in running his football team with less overall talent surrounding him.

But I guess you are constantly bombarded with Newton hype that you can't fathom the idea of someone being close to his level, just like nobody can touch Jim Brown. This is including Jim Taylor.

Hell, Taylor can't even be listed as the number 1 powerback over Brown, despite Sam Huff saying that Jim Brown was a load to take down, but so was Jim, and when Taylor hit you, " it stung", and then there is a quote by a backup cb for the Packers who started 1 game, was afraid to tackle Brown and then once he did he said it wasn't that bad, we're talking about a 160 pound cb vs Brown...hmmm who is the better powerback there?

Just like no White player can touch Jerry Rice (although Largent put up great stats without the innovative Bill Walsh and his WCO, not to mention he had inconsistent qbs, (Rice had Montana and Young.) Also many people say that plenty of the route combinations that Rice was running wouldn't even be there if it weren't for Largent. I guess the msm is going to pretend Lance Alworth didn't exist or somehow his greatness just doesn't stand up to Rice, since he always winds up as number 3 to 5 on the all time greatest receivers list.

Its the same message that has been drilled into dwfs heads for the past 40+ years, White guys have to be number 2 or 3 no matter how good they are. Cam Newton was a system qb, plain and simple, and they installed that system into the pros. It has accumulated plenty of stats but only 2 wins, and as more teams get tape on him, the poorer he seems to do.

Combine the msm's constant message about black athletes plus NFL Films and other big time highlight makers being able to manipulate things into looking better than they actually were with different angles and closeups (or worse with White players, which are usually in slow motion and angles where it is hard to see how far the player is actually running). Jim Taylor had about 5 seasons with a play over 40 yards, 3 seasons over 50 with a long of 84 which led the league that year, no telling how many big plays during those seasons because I am not going to look at each play by play but I am sure he had plenty, yet most of these plays are never shown, same with Riggins etc. Somehow they can find rare footage o Brown but they can't find footage of a Packer's team that had multiple championships?

I would think Klein is closer to Cam Newton in skill level, and he doesn't have Gus Malazahn as his coordinator. Taylor Martinez is a better runner but has to work on his passing.

Oh yay. Another black quarterback battle, Russell Wilson of Wisconsin vs. Braxton Miller of Ohio State. I hope this game features 15 interceptions.

Fantastic touchdown catch and run by Tyler Gaffney for Stanford's first touchdown against USC.

Yes it was...a great display of balance, footwork, and quickness...even some "loose hip" action on that one. Who'd a thunk it?

WR Michael Bennet, one of the few white faces on HBCU Georgia had a nice game today with 2 catches for 25 yards and a TD. The TD catch was a very nice one on one battle with a Florida affrolete in the end zone and put UGA back in the game just before the half.......:high5:

Saw a Joe Paterno interview where the senile old dog turd rambled about "scholarships for African Americans." Hopefully the world's oldest whigger dies soon.

Arkansas State QB, Ryan Aplin, was 28/42 for 323 yards and 3 TDs. He was also the leading rusher, rushing 8 times for 70 yards, as the now 6-2 Red Wolves defeated the Mean Black of North Texas 37-14.

Derek Lawson was second in rushing with 12 rushes for 63 yards.

Stanford got soft feasting on too many new-age spread teams. Now they're playing against a team very much like them, and it has them off balance.
Still confident they'll win. And be better for it.

Luck hits H-Back Hewitt for a TD to bring Stanford to within three (20-17) against USC. This game is huge since it looks like Clemson is going down to Georgia Tech tonight. I really want to see Luck and Stanford against the SEC winner in the NC game....

The best line in college football history gives Wilson five minutes to find a receiver and put Wisconsin on top.

That's the most touchdowned touchdown that ever touchdowned.

USC refs.
And Herbstreit says that Fleener "must carry it through" for it to be considered a completion. I thought the receiver just needed to have "possession" and it looked to me like Fleener did have possession of it.
