The Panthers drafted defensive tackle Daviyon Nixon in the 5th round. He was projected to go in the 2nd or 3rd.

The reason he slid, according to WalterFootball, was major character concerns. According to WalterFootball these character concerns were so significant some teams removed him from their boards.

So what were these character concerns? I was unable to find out on the internet. Just like the name of Ashley Babbitt's murderer, it's a closely guarded secret.

Liberals and black supremacists always defend, excuse and protect blacks when they do something wrong. They don't do this with whites. They have a racist double standard.

Compare the treatment Baker Mayfield got before the 2018 draft. Everything he had done got major publicity. With Nixon - nothing. Sure, Mayfield was a higher profile prospect but the principle the liberals and black supremacists follow is consistent. They always try to make whites look bad. They always try to make sure blacks don't look bad.

I'm hoping big-time that Darnold blossoms with the Panthers.

Carolina Panthers QB Sam Darnold has spent significant time this offseason working out with RB Christian McCaffrey, who was quick to sing Darnold's praises in a recent interview with Panthers.com Darin Gantt. 'I've gotten to know him really well in the last few months. Just getting together throwing with him and hanging out off the field. He's an incredible talent and incredible teammate already, so I'm super excited for him. ... I think he'll fit in great. Already fits in great. ... He's very laid back, but he's definitely a leader too. And he knows when to put his foot down when he needs to and be a leader when he needs to. I think that's something that makes all quarterbacks great,' McCaffrey said.

This is smart for CMac to get close to the qb and build that trust. Not only will he be comfortable handing off to him but he will look to him often and alot as a receiver. I really believe Sam Darnold is a great talent that needs to be
brought along slowly but will be the icing on the cake when he proves all his critics wrong. Like leonardfan I watched him alot in college in the Pac 12 and the kid was amazing. The Panthers will be alot more enjoyable to watch in 2021.

Good to see CMac and Darnold bonding early. Dan Morgan is now in upper management? Be interesting to see how that plays out as well.

I hope they play well together because the Panthers will be the blackest team in the NFL this season and will be hard to watch if it wasn't for CMac.

I’d love to see Zylstra ascend up the depth charts.
I see he’s third string on ourlads.
Dan Arnold is listed as co starter.

Hoping the offensive line comes together - need Darnold to stay clean and need McCaffrey to get some lanes to run through. Even during his historic 2019 campaign, all to often he had to make a couple guys miss in the backfield. He is that good that he still put up the numbers he does.

I was not aware of this earlier but former Ohio State WR CJ Saunders is on the Panthers. That’s cool, he got screwed by the NCAA last year and missed his previous season with injury. Super long shot to make the roster but I hope his NFL journey can continue as long as possible.

Mason Stokke cut by the Panthers.

They are also lingering around waiting out the Deshaun Watson drama. I don’t trust Rhule or the new owner. Darnold needs to have a huge year which I hope he does.

That’s disappointing! Best fullback in the draft can’t even make the team. If given 20+ carries a game he could be better than half the tailbacks in the nfl.

How can they cut the FB mere days into training camp??

I’m sure that went over well with Christian...

Yes he could have been a future pro bowler. I guess he had the "white" disease. What a sick & twisted anti white world we live in.

Rhule strikes me as one one of those cucks who adopts black babies to virtue signal. Christian should plan his exit strategy now, but where would he go?

Christian is one of the top 5 players in the League as far as I can tell but I follow less closely nowadays. He's the total package although some may overly critique his pass blocking. That's about the only "weakness" he has. The offense should be built heavily around him in my opinion. Career windows close fast nowadays and especially for Whites and quite possibly there are "elements" that would try to injure him with a dirty hit. I wouldn't put it past any of the anti-Whites in the game today. Sad but true. He needs to get all he can this season or next. RBs cannot be expected to have the longevity a QB does. I hope he tears up other teams this year.

Guess they're starting the white purge early this year.

Every year there's hype about Dan Arnold being used more -- maybe it will finally happen in '21 as Arnold has lots of talent and is even called "ultra athletic" by Weenieworld. Weenieworld's one non-troll must be working today.

Darnold to Arnold, has a good ring to it:

The Charlotte Observer's Alaina Getzenberg reports Sam Darnold and Dan Arnold have shown a "strong connection" at Panthers camp.
Arnold inked a two-year deal with the Panthers in the offseason after setting career highs across the board with his 31-438-4 line on 45 targets with the Cardinals last season. Ultra athletic for a tight end at 6'6/220, Arnold is former wide receiver and is getting plenty of reps with the Panthers' first-team offense. The Athletic's Joe Person notes Arnold has "caught a lot of passes" over the past week. He's yet another deep cut name to watch at tight end for fantasy, as Arnold currently isn't being drafted in 12-team leagues.

I really hope this trade doesn't happen. Darnold has a chance to be the face of the franchise.

If I were the Texans I'd make a deal with the Panthers that included Darnold in the package.

Predictions on McCaffery’s statistics this year?

265 carries, 1,246 yards, 12 TDs; 78 receptions, 726 yards, 6 TDs - 1,971 total yards from scrimmage (1st or 2nd in the league this year).

Even though there is an extra game, I don’t see running backs significantly increasing their totals; I think we will see the backups get and extra 15 carries this year instead. Just my take.

White players on the 2021 Carolina Panthers (starters in bold):

Offense

QB - Sam Darnold
RB - Christian McCaffrey
FB - Giovanni Ricci
OL - Pat Elflein, Matt Paradis, Sam Tecklenburg, Brady Christensen
TE - Dan Arnold, Colin Thompson
WR - Brandon Zylstra

Defense

DL - Morgan Fox
LB - Clay Johnston

Special Teams

P Joseph Charlton, LS J.J. Jansen

Total white starters: 6
Total whites on roster: 14
Overall grade: C- (only because of C-Mac, this is a D-level team at heart)

Note: Alex Erickson has temporarily been elevated from the practice squad to return punts this week, but I didn't count him on the list because the team intends to bump him back down. Hopefully he gets a permanent promotion at some point - he's too talented to be stashed on a PS.

Appreciate the write up! Decent for Carolina, hoping Erickson is contributing sooner than later! He has a chance to impress with return duties and state his case for 53.

I'll maintain he could be a threat in the slot as well, if given the reps.
